I called this place during off hours without knowing, surprising they picked up. Even suggested a store that's open nearby. Great customer service...I'll definitely swing by next time I need something.
I ordered a Pol Roger Brut Rose 2009 online for a delivery. They charge to deliver to my town, so I changed the delivery address to my friend's house in Fort Lee. When I picked up, a wrong bottle was delivered, 2012 Pol Roger Champagne. I called and they apologized for the mistake and they would redeliver the correct one and pick up the other. As I said, the champagne was with me not in Fort Lee. So I went to exchange myself during my daytime work hours. The store only opens 10am-6pm. I understand people make mistakes and I was little upset but not crazy mad. Then, when I went to exchange, there were 2 young men in the store but one guy just tossed me the correct bottle without saying a word. No apologies, no a word of thank you, nothing. What a customer service! Even if you're on the phone with another customer, you couldn't say a word to the customer who came all the way to the store? I wasn't expecting anything but a word of sorry. This store may carry one of the nicest selection of wines but not the best customer service.
By far the best place for wines in town - both for sampling and drinking! And it is doubtful that you will leave without a bottle or two. The staff are also very professional and helpful. Plus you could watch the wine being bottled! I will surely come back to my next trip, and I highly recommend this wine shop!
Everyone already knows about the amazing selection and prices, but did you know that the employees at this wine shop are helpful with wine selection, not just restocking the bottles? On multiple occasions, I've asked for help from employees, and they've always been very cheerful. They immediately have wine recommendations, sometimes asking you what you intend to use it for. I strongly recommend this place!
Prices for wine are professional, well-stocked, simple, and excellent. Whatever you're looking for, they've got it. The bosses were also extremely helpful and friendly. I adore the location. It was extremely well-organized and spacious. They had a sizable wine collection from which to choose. I can't wait to go back to this wine shop.
Kind and knowledgeable staff. The wine selections are well organized if you pay attention to the headings on the shelves. The prices are clearly marked without stickers on each bottle. They have a good price range of wines from the lower end to high end. You can purchase your wine online if you know what you want before picking it up or have it shipped to you.
These guys and gals are the best. They have great recommendations and a deep catalog. I recently had a very minor hiccup with the delivery of part of an order, and they corrected it quickly and without hesitation. Overall, I have been very satisfied with their delivery arrangements. My biggest regret is that they are not down the block so I could get the benefit of their expertise on a "drop-in" basis. Keep it up, EWM!
