Scoring a 3/10, I found Just Sing! Christmas Vol. 2 to be a disappointing repeat of its predecessor. Much like the initial release, this sequel offers little more than two tracks—“We Wish You A Merry Christmas” and “Deck the Halls”—wrapped in a generic, bland karaoke experience. The gameplay loop remains unchanged: you endure a voice calibration phase, pick a song, and sing along while pitch bars indicate your accuracy. Unfortunately, the experience is let down by cheap-sounding MIDI arrangements and shoddy voice recognition that often registers random noises as singing. The difficulty is low, with a wide margin for error that makes high scores easy to rack up, but the lack of Wi-Fi support limits competition to local friends. Graphically, it is identical to the previous version, featuring a low-polygon Santa girl on the top screen. Ultimately, without multiplayer or significant improvements, this title feels like a waste of time, especially for a game that thrives on social interaction.
