Beautiful mountains and perfectly groomed slopes every day. But unfortunately that is only one side of the coin. The other is the arrogance of the mountain railway operators: if something doesn't work, you first look for the culprit in everyone else. An example: My day pass on the SwissPass was not recognized in the morning. But that was my problem alone. An error in the mountain railways was out of the question. When a new day ticket was to be loaded onto my SwissPass a good hour later thanks to the evidence provided, this did not work because suddenly a day ticket was already loaded. Which surprise! The next culprit was quickly found: the SBB, which would have introduced the cable car functionality without involving the cable cars. If you don't want to miss this market, you should also take responsibility for the offer. As far as I know, there is no obligation to participate in Snow'n'Rail. Apart from that, this behavior towards a guest does not quite correspond to the textbook of the tourism industry.

1. with the new dynamic prices unfortunately completely opaque. Cost transparency is different! 2. it is missing in st. moritz generally at charging stations for electric cars. But especially the mountain railways, which are among the most expensive in the whole of Switzerland, should provide a few charging stations with low power. The car is there anyway the whole day, then it needs no high charging power.

Nice view and prices for the summer are ok. Staff friendly and competent. Free parking. Unfortunately, on this page the outrageous politics of the ski circus become visible as usual only in Austria. Deep ruts and snow cannons in the countryside.

The slopes are well prepared. However, the systems are outdated - nothing is invested. Prices are rising and rising. Now even "dynamic prices" - you can live with, however, the weather risk, etc. passed on to the skier. But what is unbelievable is that EVERY reservation needs its own ticket. I have 20 tickets now ... IT from the last century ...

The St. Moritz ski areas have been an annual destination for more than 40 years (... always more than 9-10 days per season). I have been avoiding this destination for 5 years. Reasons: in the meantime abnormal price More

We got here and bought tickets for 2 days. The second day the area was closed because of the weather. They did not want to refund us or even give us a voucher to compensate for the second day. Unfriendly staff was not even the slightest bit empathic. It would make business sense to at least give us a voucher and have guests back in the resort to spend some more. Sounds unfriendly and unprofessional at the same time. What a pity.

Outdated lifts, bad service, high prices - this is reality in St. Moritz today. Just one example: after a lift failure on the last day of skiing, I am home with aching shoulders and broken skis. A very unattractive experience, goodwill of course zero, but ellenlange explanations why it came to the lift failure. Of course, no one was on site - even visually impaired guests were given no help, after 30 minutes walk on unprepared roads without signposts, one was finally at the destination. Or: broken upholstery and much too small elevator hoods, where you constantly bump your head. Everything old brand, pure investment backlog (where do all the TV money go?). While other areas have had heatable, immaculately functioning facilities and WLAN on the lifts for decades, there is radio silence in St. Moritz. Yes, you have become full and comfortable - and would most like it, if the guests would prefer not to ski anymore and just deliver their money. A sad development - which is still dubbed by a great marketing - but woe, once the big events and World Cups are over or obsolete ... then the big howls and teeth chattering will begin. Top of the World? If then only in terms of "More appearances than being" - the rest is more expensive rip-offs and its worth money in any way. P.S .: I am considering taking a lawyer to claim at least the cost of my ruined skis. Also great, if you are forced to act so and only after the holiday legal advice.

Big compliments to the gondola guide to Piz Nair above St Moritz! This employee made sure that everyone wore their mask correctly and it was the first time in 10 years that an employee from the lift service gave a few nice anecdotes about the ski area and made the few minutes' drive very enjoyable. Thanks to John Webster!

Paying these prices for skiing on such a modest area is pure madness! In addition the local inhabitants, are not friendly so the stay in this valley is very unpleasant! I can not recommend a holiday in this place!

What a joke ! You purchase a ticket in advance but sadly this day became the heaviest snowing day of the month, all the ski lift are closed and not even an email informing you that ... Result is that is no refund and not even a voucher for a next time. In terms of service/ purchase there is apparently not any law applied here.

Great Skiing Aera with perfect slopes. What I really appreciate was the great service I was able to experience. Many thanks to Mr. Thomas Brunner and his team - they really know what good customer service is.

Since my childhood I drive to the Engadin for skiing. I learned how to ski on the Corviglia. This year I was there again for a week. In addition to cross-country skiing, I actually wanted to ski spontaneously for at least 3-4 days, depending on the weather. But then I saw the prices and went skiing for only 2 days. To be honest, the dynamic pricing system appalled me! It is an impudence to demand such horrendous prices for an outdated ski area. It also takes any spontaneity. Buying tickets is not just a challange for the customer, but also for the employees. St. Moritz advertises to be "Top of the world". Compared to comparable ski resorts, which I have visited in recent years, neither the prices nor the facilities are "top of the world", but actually the opposite, unfortunately only embarrassing. The ski resort Corviglia urgently needs to do something for its image in order to be "top of the world" again and not "flop of the world" and to lose long-standing regulars!

WONDERFUL Engadine Enchanted place both in Winter and in Summer. The slopes always at the top, the shopkeepers always available, seriousness in all circumstances. Of course when you are looking for the best the best has a cost, this cost is worth it.
