We went there for the atmosphere and that is what we received. The casino is impressive with variety of activities to do apart from gambling.

Casino is just taking my money, have not eon anything in months.

Entertainment for young and old. A variety of eating places, ample parking.

Security must sort out the cars parked on the black card parking against the wall making it more difficult for the cars to get out the parkings.
And the people with expensive cars parking in the disabled parking is bull, I've seen people getting out the cars parked there if they disabled then I'm niel Armstrong.

Rooms are avarage, very thin glass windows. Noise from road and airport. Breakfast is free, avarage quality. Food court ok, a lot of choices

It was a lovely outing with the family at the lights at Emperors Palace.

Went to Barnyard Theatre. Was an excellent experience.

Very noisy. Toilet facilities shocking. Friendly helpful staff. Good restaurants.

Can be a bit expensive. They wanted to charge uber just to drop me off which is crazy.

In this place you find everything from a Hotel to entertainment ... vintage designs very beautiful and excellent service such as a shuttle to OR Tambo International airport.

It's Royal Emperor's Palace Hotel 5 Star in Johannesburg

The hotels set up is awesome. The art on the walls on your way to the casino are most beautiful. The lift doors are stunning. Why not make a rip and be the royal you ment to be.

This is poor service with regards to parking lot and parking atendants. A parking atendant came over to me followed me from another parking to where my car was. Not noeing where my car is then continues by daying " i look at your car. Its safe. Im hungry tonight give me nice tip" i then said no. Then the correct parking atendant comes to me. And i told him this other man beg money by me. So i gave the correct one the tip after i told him what happened then after he took the money he walked away and didnt even offer to help me everse out of my parking seein it was dark an visibility was poor. Now luckily these things always happens afterwards because if it did when i arived i would have left without goin to the casino..... im just say a customers experience starts and ends in the larkinglot.....

Not a fan of casinos. Too noisy and claustrophobic. Nothing wrong with the place just not my cup of tea

The Buffet gave me and my wife running stomachs the following day. Needless to say we will not be returning anytime soon

I drove 70km specifically to see the Christmas lights. Bought my tickets online. Stood in the line for 30 minutes only to be shown away when gates were supposed to open. The rudest organizer, Charlene had the worst attitude. She proceeded to tell me that they were notified earlier the afternoon and instead of informing everyone that the Christmas lights are cancelled until the 7th of December she leaves everyone to drive out there. This has left an immensely bitter taste in my mouth after this has become a family tradition for the past three years.

Fantastic, fun filled casino with lots of entertainment for all ages. An abundance of restuarants, an arcade, movie theater and more! Glamorous interior designs and a welcoming ambience.

Beautiful place to hang around on weekends. Casino, 15 famous restaurants and many more things to do here. Famous fun center for kids as well.

An awful place, but the plebs love it. Kitsch. Crowded. Tatty in certain areas. Awful restaurants. A place to lose your money quickly.

It's a great place. Had a great time with the wife and kids. The restaurants are amazing the food the staff. It was all going great until my wife got a call from "Steve" her co-worker... She says it's all work related and there's nothing going on. So we got into an argument and I ended up leaving Karen and the kids in the hotel room. Decided to go blow off some steam on the slot machines. I played for an hour, had a few drinks. I met this girl named Sandra who works there, she was amazing. All of a sudden the machine starts screaming! I automatically got triggered and said "oh shut up Karen, why does my son look like Steve?" That's when Sandra came running she said you won! I look at the screen.. and I had won! I hit the Grand price. People surrounded the machine clapping. I was so cought up in the moment... I grabbed Sandra and kissed her, like they did in the movies. People started cheering and clapping even louder. I grabbed Sandra by the hand, she ripped her name tag off. we started running through the isles, with the lights flashing as we ran by. It was a something I had never felt in my 12 years of marriage with Karen. I wanted it to last forever. We went to the desk to collect the winnings. My jaw hit the floor seeing how much money I had actually won. I couldn't believe it, Sandra couldn't either. They handed me a bag filled with 200 Rand bills. I grabbed it and we started asking towards the door. That's when I stopped and said "Sandra, where should we go with all this money? She said let's go to Cape Town... My heart without skipping a beat, I said YES LETS DO IT! we boarded a plane to Capetown. We stayed there for a week in the most expensive hotels and shopping.
One day I wake up a little late after a long time of drinking. I can't find Sandra anywhere. I look all around our hotel room, but I can't find her. Something told me to go look for the black duffle bag with money... It was gone, Sandra had ran off with the money. I was stuck in Capetown with no money, no Sandra, No Wife and kids... I had to own up and go back to Emperor's palace.
So I'm sleeping on the couch writing this, as my wife lays in our bed with Steve, the co-worker. She says I can only stay for a month till I get back on my feet, but Steve says he can help me get a job as his assistant. So in the end I guess it's a win win for everyone!
Moral of the story is... I don't know the moral of the story. All I know is that I won big a this place. But the one thing I learnt... Don't trust people named Sandra or Karen!
Okay I gotta go to bed now. Karen told me to turn off the lights!

I personally was disappointed with a bad odour from the urinals, sticky floors and that the toilet arrear was not being deep cleaned. What a turn off as during other proceedings other concerns developed during our stay.

Place is our favourite but rather tight with winnings mostof the time.
