Helps with rent, auto repair and utilities. The food bank is good, with the exeption that many items, too many items have expired, have mold, or are a day or two away from experation. The enviornment is mostly Mexican imigrants who don't speak English with loud out of control kids. As a caucation American I was a minority in the - kind of obnoxouse waiting area. Overall, this is a great place for families in a pickle.

I'll rate a 5 star for now...I just have a question we are a family of 5...3 boys 3,11, and 13 we are homeless. We have tried absolutely everything in our power to find help with housing but all full...so that leaves us camping outside until we figure out what to do????? Are you able to help families like this who are homeless no transportation etc ????

You are only allowed one visit monthly. The workers are very stand-offish and you can tell they would rather be elsewhere. On the other hand the help with rent and utilities. I don't think anyone else does that.

EFAA helped with rent assistance for someone that rented one of my properties (I own two, I'm not some slumlord - just trying to create a way to pay for college for my family). This tenant caused over $6000 in damages. I called EFAA to let them know about this and they marked her file so that she will not be eligible for rental assistance again. Good job on EFAA's part!

My company volunteered with this organization starting a year ago. Every person we have interacted with at EFAA has been excellent! Seems like a great group doing great things in our Boulder County community.

As a homeless lady, needed prescription eyewear after glasses frames broke. Medicaid covers exam but not glasses. Received approved fund and got Wal Mart to make me glasses. My eye vision had changed, so was much a big help.

They do help- only the one time help if you need rental assistance.
Its nice to have this organization.
The only thing I don't understand is why do they give us food that is past the expiration date-- AlL the time. (LIKE REALLY BAD. )THEY STOCK IT UP ON THEIR SHELVES PUT ALL THE WORK INTO IT- THEN I Pack it up- pick it off the shelf from the pantry- get home and a lot of it is bad. The meat is frozen-(o.k.) yes but then defrost it ( meanwhile plan you meal- recipe) its bad-- it stunk up the apartment. Put it in the trash again.
