A bit disorderly with the pending remodel, would recommend staying elsewhere until it's completed. I imagine it will be fairly nice when all is finished. Staff was friendly and doing their best with the limited resources available to them. They were all clearly tired of the mess and were ready to be "back to normal"

Away from downtown Portland
There is an evening bar time, where you can drink alcohol and snacks

I love this hotel! Lane (a bartender) was so nice and we actually ended up getting him a donut for his birthday when we went to Voodoo! They also had a magician named Brandon who went around to tables at happy hour, which was kind of odd at first, but it ended up being such a fun and unique experience! They really care and have amazing staff! I love this hotel so much!!

I had lunch at the cascade restaurant inside the Embassy and it was the worst meal of my life. I ordered the fish and chips. Disgusting, I was very disappointed I've had better fish at diners. I would never go back, specially because I couldn't even send the food back, our server was very rude and ask not to bother him too much . The experience overall was horrible I was expecting more of a place like that.

For the price we paid for our room, I'm disappointed in the stay overall. The pool water was dirty, and the hot tub water especially was disgusting. The breakfast was just ok, and if it wasnt for the made to order omelettes would have been downright bad. Much of even the "freshly" made food that was put out was already cold. All the bagels and pastries were hard as a rock and inedible. Only when they were closing the breakfast area did they refill this items, just to let them sit until the next mornings breakfast. As far as the room itself, the actual beds themselves were nice, as were the pillows. Our shower drain did not work properly, so the walk-in shower quickly started to fill and nearly flowed over the edge after just 7 to 10 minutes. Overall, if you can get an amazing deal here, it is worth staying. If you're looking for a luxury hotel however, this one may leave you wanting.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you are passing through Portland or have business at Nike or Providence St Joe's Health Services! The staff is friendly and there are several excellent restaurants in the area.

I wasn't even a guest there. I showed up for a business meeting and the employees were catering water to us and refilled our waters when we were empty. I'm completely impressed with the service there.

Very good location with space to burn and great breakfast. Front desk people were super and friendly. Only down side was lazy housekeeping, sometimes not taking used towels and not replacing amenities.

Nice hotel with all the amenities provided by embassy suites. Will return, much cheaper than staying downtown and no charge for parking. Conveniently located right near shopping, gas, restaurants, and the freeway

I went for a ball tournament and shared a room with another mom and the couch/bed was the worst I have ever slept on. I cannot believe that this is allowed for a Hilton to have such a "bed" as all I could feel was SPRINGS and it cost me $260 a night Canadian funds. The blankets they have for the couch bed looked like they hadn't been washed ever and the bathroom floor was so slippery I am surprised that one of us didn't fall.

The room that we had was spacious and capable of fitting a party of 6 with no problems. Walls are thick, so nose is not an issue from neighboring guest. Alcohol is free from 4 - 7 as well as breakfast in the morning from 7 - 10. The location of the hotel is convinently located by a mall, highway access, great food, and gas

So so. Great deal, but room could be cleaner. Convenient location if you don't want to stay in Downtown Portland. Staff seems a little lost. Overflowing garbage in the lobby. Free breakfast and free drinks at happy hour were nice, but I'd rather pay for those and get nicer service/amenities.

I remember staying here as a kid and being so amazed at the atrium. I just took my 4 year old, and he had the same response. The staff were friendly, the room impeccable, and the continental breakfast was impressive. Will definitely stay again. It's a special place.

Room is nice. Love the open floors that you can see down the atrium. I always thoroughly check the room and found what appears to be a public hair or could be body hair on the night stand. Not something you want to see. Luckily I carry sanitizing wipes to wipe down to the surfaces and drawers.
The breakfast buffet is your typical eggs, fried potatoes, bacon, sausage, toast bagels, cereal and yogurt. I did see the eggs to order station. The music playing through the bottom floor is great and laid back.

This hotel is over all pretty good. The managers reception is nice, but it s pretty repetitive if you stay at this hotel for more then a couple days. Their pillows are also not the best, but I m assuming you can ask for better ones.

Worse Easter Brunch ever. Paid $94.00 for two people to only have minimal choices that were bland in taste. We will be returning to our usual place for Easter Brunch at the Stockpot on Scholls Ferry just north of Hall. The alcohol is not free there but the choices and good are excellent which is why you go to Brunch to start with. Well at least my Wife and I prefer great food over free alchohol. To be quite honest my wife said Home Town Buffet would have been a better choice.
