Excellent facility. Staff is top notch, helpful, responsive. From the manager to the housekeeping staff, wonderful folks.
Very nice. Great mattress and great pillows. Comfortable room. Being right off 16th Street mall good views. Close to all kinds of fun activities. We came to see the Rockies play and they won! I'd definitely come and stay again.
The breakfast lasts a lot longer and later than most hotels. I hate getting up early so that I dont miss breakfast.
I went here for a seminar and it was absolutely amazing. The lunches were very delicious and always out on time. The meeting rooms were comfortable and spacious. I enjoyed myself.
It would be helpful if we knew in advance that we should bring cleaning supplies. Yes, the bed was made and the towels restocked. But the dirty dishes were never picked up. The table and counters and garbage cans were never cleaned.
Courteous staff. Nice hotel. Right across the street from the Convention center.
Staff, breakfast and happy hour were amazing but I really hope they fix those elevators. So slow!
Never thought I'd say I thought I was packed into an embassy like a sardine but that is what it's felt like. 4 elevators isn't enough but on Easter weekend they had one down all weekend and it was a nightmare to get an elevator. $44 a day for parking. Parked across the street for a third.. Breakfast line was 50 feet long and the happy hour line is so long I just bought the drink for faster service.
Great place to go for meetings. International event today. My colleague's and friends both choose this venue over any other hotel. Elements and Altitude are above par.
I love Embassy Suites. This one is ok. I'd I have any complaints, it's the price they charge to park and the fact they have ONE bank of elevators for the whole hotel. Not good when you're on the top floor and the power goes out. (True story)
They hosted a retreat for BSF International. They worked well with 1500 of us.
Beautiful place with a very convenient location. The conference tech support was a little lacking.
Big clean rooms, really nice atmosphere, would stay again. Came for a conference and all the rooms and resources hosted it really well
I stayed at what is probably the most chaotic night of the year and the staff was a little behind but did an admirable job keeping up with the turnover and high demand. The room was comfortable for 4 people, the sink in the mini-bar was fantastic to have while others were in the bathroom, and the desk area in the living room was nicely arranged for getting a little work done while waiting for the others to arrive. I would choose this hotel for a long work stay in Denver.
Very nice property with phenomenal atrium area. Right across from convention center as well so you dont really need a rental car just take light rail which is right in front of.property.
Rooms were very nice. Breakfast in the morning was crowded and the eggs were horrible. Location was great. Easy to walk to convention center and other downtown locations. Pool was small.
Awesome bar/restaurant area. The manager, Aria, was so nice to us and really made my birthday night dinner super special. Very beautiful hotel.
Perfect location for walking around diwntown Denver. Valet and front desk staff were AMAZING. There were some advertised ammenities not in our room and the breakfast set up was very poor. No clear direction, too long of a waIt while food was replenished. Better planning needed for known guests to omelet station ratio. Outside of breakfast and the tv situation in rhe room I enjoyed my stay.
Pros:
- Really nice large rooms. You get a good sized living area and bedroom.
- The beds are very soft and comfy.
- The staff is really polite and nice.
Cons:
- The rooms look like a product of the 70s. Not bad per se but definitely in need of an update.
- Shutters in the living room peek out to the hallway and give the rooms almost a motel feel. Also, who really wants a view of a hallway?
- We got one remote for the two TVs in our room. I usually like to see one remote per tv.
- One of the lights in our room was out. It wasn't in a position that caused problems but definitely speaks to a bit of a shoddy upkeep.
Odds and Ends.
- Registration is on the 4th floor? Who does this?
- While there was a large convention in town, I don't think there was a single day where the elevator floor wasn't sticky from spilled drinks.
- Check in is at 4???? I'm used to check-in at 3 at the latest. 4 feels really late.
This place is nice. We got a suite that slept 6, which worked perfectly for us. The free breakfast and happy hour drinks/snacks were such an awesome added bonus! I'd stay here again.
The valet attendants were very polite and helpful. Very nice young men.
Great business or leisure travel hotel. Great location, service and rooms were very nice. Free made to order breakfast was very convenient and high quality. The only drawback is that there is no self parking and valet is $40 a night. I would definitely stay here again.
Great happy hour every day with open bar. Good walkable location. The gym and pool are ok but not great. Ask for a mountain view room.
8/31/20 Update: We spoke with the front desk supervisor today about our stay. They apologized for the state of the room and the other issues we had during our time there; and they offered us a discount on a room to make it up to us. While we probably won t be back in Denver anytime soon, we did appreciate them reaching out to listen to our complaints. I have updated my review to reflect their willingness to try to fix the problem. (3/5 Stars)
ROOMS ARE DIRTY! Even with their CleanStay promise, we entered a room that had not been properly cleaned. Upon arrival, we found a wadded up, used piece of gum that was laying on the nightstand. We phoned the desk, and they sent someone up to get it. When he arrived, he picked it up, and walked out. That was all. He did nothing to try to sanitize the nightstand. It made us question the cleanliness of the entire room. Since we were only staying for twelve hours, we decided to stick it out; but it wasn t a pleasant stay. (1/5 Stars)
Good value for the money downtown in Denver. The staff are definitely 2 Star Motel qualified.
Nice hotel, comfortable, clean, and quiet on the weekends. Everything I have come to expect from a Hilton owned property. My only complaint is that we paid for a "Mountain View" room but over 90% of the view is the Hyatt Regency accross the street and you have to press your face against the glass to see the mountains. Otherwise very happy with our room and very cool lobby area with water features. Would stay again and would reccomend to others.
We arrived earlier than expected and there was a room waiting for us. The wifi as fast enough for me to get work done, the room is both clean and gorgeous, and there is the typical high quality breakfast/happy hour. Parking is $40 a night, which was expensive, but the location can't be beat. Thrilled we chose such a stunning and immaculate place to stay.
Fantastic location, amazing and helpful staff, and great views from the rooms. Would definitely recommend for any one interested in checking out 16th street shopping or any of the sports venues within walking distance.
awful water pressure, not enough pillows, rooms freezing, cant adjust temp. bad so far.
Great stay cant wait to come again. Place hit all our stops and more!!
absolutely great experience. hotel was nice. clean. staff helpful & friendly. happy hour & breakfast great. look forward to future stays. wish all our hotel experiences were as good as this. well done
Pros :
Location. Its right at the convention center next to 16th st mall.
Rooms : The room quality is great. Big Spacious suites with comfortable mattresses.
Breakfast : Extensive breakfast at the lobby with live Egg Station.
Cons :
Expensive Parking but that goes with all hotels in the area.
Only 1 Egg Station at breakfast. Lot of people line up and it gets really crowded . They need couple of more of these.
Overall , an awesome stay and highly recommended if you want to stay near downtown.
This Embassy Suites is one of the best I've seen from this particular hotel chain of Hilton. The rooms were clean and spacious. When we had an issue with getting the TV's to work their response time was quick. The breakfast was not the best I've ever had but there was plenty of food and breakfast was included with every room. They had a second food service area that was empty and a bit confusing but other than that I was very pleased with my experience.
I have stayed at many embassy suites hotels all the way back to 1998. This one is good but the Internet is very bad. I am in downtown Denver but connect to 256k wifi? I am a diamond hhonors member but every time I called about the Internet I was told an engineer was working on it. I was told this for 3 days.
Excellent. Zero complaints, every employee I met was very kind and considerate. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Any issues I had during my stay were mainly attributable to how busy they were, but I can see why so many people choose to stay here. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Free drinks snacks and breakfast. Awesome guest service !!
We were well taken care of. Good rooms and a great location.
Once we entered our room we discovered a used band aid on the floor by the bed. Disgusting! A friend had underwear in her room by the bed. Horrible. I can t understand how a nice looking hotel could miss stuff like this. Awful. Even cheaper motels take better care of the trash left behind.
Great look and feel within the public areas of the hotel, good rooms with enough room to stay in and helpful staff.
Nice hotel, great people, free breakfast, complimentary happy hour, convenient location, what else would you need. My conference provided breakfast but I opted for the much better made to order egg white omelette at the hotel. Glad I didn't have a car as the parking is a little steep. And the intersection to cross the street to the convention Center is a total cluster. You got cars, trains, bikes, buses, scooters and pedestrians all coming together in giant safety hazard. But I still give them 5 stars for a very enjoyable stay.
Nice place, free breakfast, clean rooms. I would recommend this place.
Definitely don't stay here. And don't use valet. I parked my car here while staying, even after being told it was 37$ a night to park and then the next day my car had a big ding in the door. They acted like they would take care of it and call me within 48 hrs and then when I return home I get a email saying my valet claim has been denied. Have never been so mistreated at a hotel ever.
The room was quite nice and the service 2as generally good.
Forced $40 valet parking, that's some bs first of all. Sucky shower which I know is no big deal but what exactly am I paying a more expensive hotel for?
Excellent rooms with more sinks than you can shake a stick at, exemplary service, and a lobby that looks like a set piece from Judge Dredd(Just look up).
i had alot of fun here, i got super freindly with the bartender Todd, seuper hot man. took me out and checked the town and local bars. he showed me a great time. i'd love to go back again soon, hope hes still here at this bar.
Checked in with no key cards available to get into the room, served drinks at happy hour in paper cups because they were out of glass (service staff not friendly) been here since Friday (now Sunday) and our room hasn't been cleaned once. Also the remote controls for the tv don't work . We always stay at embassy suites but will never return to this one
Attended a 2 day symposium. Building is nice, modern, and close to the 16th steet mall. Parking is somewhat limited, but there are other options close by. Starbucks right next door!
Very clean, service was amazing, the location is great.
Haven't been to an Embassy Suites in a while and probably won't go back. We reserved two rooms and they got our reservation wrong. The hotel was booked so they couldn't, or wouldn't, correct our rooms. The parking garage is a nightmare and the morning buffet reminded me of a slop you feed pigs. I bet the strip club across the street has better food and service than this hotel.
Overall it was a good hotel. We were able to use the gym which was a plus but unfortunately couldn't use the pool as their reservations were full. My only complaints were that the room wasn't exactly "clean" as we found spare change that had been left on the vanity. The other complaint was that they're only allowing valet parking and charging guests $39 which I feel should be included with our stay. Had it not been for those two issues I would have given 5 stars.
Pool completely unattended. Loud screaming children who's parents simply watched as the kids intentionally tried splashing us. Definitely not made to feel comfortable at this hotel by most of the staff. Some staff were really sweet and professional, others curt and snotty.
Room was nice , staff was great. Just wish there was parking for yourself.
Business hotel.... perfect for conference and and seminars...
Omelet station is good but the maid threw out all my bathroom items.
A Hotel for Business Trips, suites are large and there is enough room to spread out for work.
Utter crap, checked out after one night. Room carpet was dingy, stained, had bare spots. Mirror surround was chipped wood. Sink was clogged, had to push down through the water to release the drain. Asked to change rooms away from noisy elevator, was told "only elevator rooms available", I call BS. Stainless steel breakfast egg container had, I kid you not, boiling water surrounding the scrambled eggs, a type of disgusting egg soup. And, when I checked out early - $ 75 charge.
Bullshit.
Happy hour is not as good as other Embassy Suites but Wifi is much better than most.
In my opinion this was one of the worst Embassy Suites experiences I ve had. Crowded. Elevators slow. Rooms not very clean and then no maid service over 2 nights. Breakfast needs to be remodeled so people aren t bumping into each other while trying to get their food. Not anywhere close to Embassy standards.
Was there for a week with a group many who were disabled. As with all hotels there were not enough accessable rooms, but the staff was proactive, creative and courteous in working us to provide work arounds when necessary.
The facilities were satisfactory and clean but the staff is really the reason to stay here. They are, currently at least, outstanding. I didn't have a single issue the entire time there that wasn't addressed immediately and with the best outcome.
We met a friend who was staying here. I can vouch for their buffet breakfast.... good with some variety. Unfortunately, when I called ahead the person at the desk told me parking was free!! It ISN'T!! The charge would have been $40 for anything over 15 minutes! So I had to park 4 blocks away. My friend said the parking wasn't free for guests either. Just a heads up!
Everything was excellent except their covid time breakfast.
Was great if you are not driving there and parking your car which was $44 per night. Everything else was great including the room on the premium floor and the location downtown.
Incredibly rude, uncooperative staff that refused to let me check in yet had no problem charging my card for the room I never got to use! Really shady! Avoid at all costs, go to the aloft hotel instead, it's right by there, just as nice and it's run in a manner that doesn't screw it's customers!
