Thank you, Eun-Kyung Kim, for your kind handling of the filing, and for obtaining the stamps and envelopes that we couldn't prepare for. It's a little help, but I don't know how impressed it is. Thank you very much.

No. I've made dozens of real calls, but why don't you answer? They're really great once every two days for three weeks ... It's annoying to just turn it around with a voice every day
I couldn't go to Korea because of Covid-19, so I did a paperwork to the Passport Department on the same day as a notary and child Korean passport application because of the Korean driver's license renewal. Both of them were female staff and were friendly. I had an inquiry on the phone before going, and I knew you weren't answering the phone well, but he still gave me calls that day. I was worried a lot about being unkind in the rating, but everyone was kind. I can't remember which department it was, but was it applying for a family certificate or basic certificate? Anyway, there was also a male staff member, but even if someone who was a little bothered to talk, patiently and kindly responded.
I visited during lunch time and there was no one waiting. It took 10min to apply for a new passport and they OFFER a free photo shoot for your new passport so don t waste your money like me! (I took my passport photos at some CVS and the lady didn t take it because of the photo s quality. They said it was too dark to use)
CASH ONLY as well! When they say bring a $6.70 stamp, it means you need to buy an envelope(check the photos that I posted) from the Post office NOT JUST A STAMP. Please double check before you go there. Call them and ask if you want.
The lady who helped me was very nice, fast, and very helpful! So I m giving them 5 stars. Thank you for your service!
I have visited Consulate General of the republic of Korea once. The building from outside looks really good. While reading reviews, I see that some reviewers had complained about the staffs over there. However, for me the staffs were really kind. I mean FOR REAL. I am not sure it has enough space to park your car but, wheelchair accessible. Highly recommended if you are Korean and need help with any problems.
If you do not want to work, go home. I know what a supreme group of people I am ... I am arrogant and piercing the sky and digging the ground. If you are a first-rate person, you pay for it. Because of patriotism? Do not let those patriotic people know that they are not even pissing on their own people, you people who have not even been able to do this cockroach ... please let me work as a professional ... They treat you with attitude ... very nasty attitude ... because they don ' t get fired ... they all must be fired. very arrogant and rude attitude.
Went there for my visa. In my case they were not so friendly by phone but were great in person. I noted that some people want/demand visas without submitting the proper documents. I can understand why the workers there would get frustrated.
I don't know the complaint of these reviewers, but I didn't have any problems I do not speak or write very well in korean. The lady help me filled out the form and the procedure properly.
I wish I could give zero. The security guard tries to intimidate, employees are unhelpful and could care less about helping you get your business done. Website is pretty useless too because we filled out the forms that were available online only to find out that they have new forms. Did you know that they have visitor parking in the back? The sign is not visible from the road and there is no info on the website. Would have been good to know since I had a hard time to find parking. Worst experience ever.
One of the worse experiences I ve ever had! I actually went there in 2015, I had been meaning to leave this review because it was so horrible, but now I m finally getting around to it. Even after 5 years, I remember the unbelievably rude and unhelpful man that worked there. I went because I needed to process some official documents to send to S. Korea. The middle aged man who was working at the window was super rude and unfriendly. He couldn t care less about the work he was doing, and I almost felt like I was being discriminated for some reason, because I couldn t believe he would treat everyone this way. I traveled almost an hour to get there and he was not helpful at all. When I had missing documents, he didn t even let me know specifically what I needed to prepare. He just said he couldn t do it because I didn t bring everything and then just sent me off, not letting me ask any questions. When I got back home I had to call the office again to clarify what I needed to bring next time because he barely gave me enough information about what I was missing. The lady who answered the phone call was friendly and clearly informed me of what I needed to bring. Since I couldn t give 0 stars, let s just say the one star is for the lady who answered the phone.
Employees were courteous and helpful. Also, it was nice that they provide free photo service and free copying and printing. Place was also clean and well maintained. Renewing passport was easy process. Only thing to remember is if you want your passport mailed to your home, you have to bring your own stamp/postage.

I live in Korea. My sister who lives in Virginia, USA came to Korea urgently, but after a couple of urgent voices, I lost contact with her, and when I lost my contact, she made a phone call to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs consular call center , The ministry consular call center said that it would get in touch with the dragon immediately in Washington. The consular call center staff was very friendly too and over time, an international call came in from Washington, and the Washington Consulate staff gave me a phone call to confirm that my contact was made, and the next day my staff reconfirmed the call again. I called to Korea at that time. I did not tend too much, but I can only remember the name of the city of Washington. . The reason why I did not connect with your husband and wife was because I was sick because I was sick. My sister and I have a call. My sister and I also received a phone call from Washington. Thank you, the Washington Consulate.
Early this morning, I hurriedly reported the loss of nationality and the report of nationality departure. Thank you very much to the staff who kindly explained to me at window 6. I'm sorry for not knowing your name. Even though everyone would have a hard time with corona, they waited patiently for my clumsiness in each other's stuffy masks and informed me well, so I felt that it wasn't a long way to come back. Thank you again and you are healthy
I was here for notarization. The staff behind window 4 was courteous, friendly, and accommodating. I had a lot of paperwork to be notarized, and he was very helpful and organized. Overall pleasant experience.
For anyone applying for Korean passport: You need a copy of your first page of passport & visa or green card, passport picture, cash ($50 for 24 page passport book), passport application, a copy of request doc for mailing the new passport, and post stamp worth of $7.75.
Other than the post stamp, you can get all the required documents at the consulate general.
Get there first thing in the morning. Even before 9am to avoid any wait outside. They are only letting a few people at a time due to Covid19.
Honestly not bad at all. The workers there are genuinely trying their best to help you out. I got helped multiple times in my multiple visits there and they are generally friendly.
