My family could not have asked for a better team to sell a house and get us into our new home. Louise Butter D Alessandro blew our expectations out of the water doing her due diligence in decisively evaluating and promoting our home, providing us with ALL the advice in setting us up for success with a sale in only 2 days. She did not miss a beat. No one knows this business better. Between her and our buying agent Jenny Sweeney, we never felt unsure of our path forward. Jenny always made herself available to answer questions, to look at homes, was quick in dealing with endless paperwork and just had an all around great personality. All in all, we were out with the old and into our new home within 45 days. Wow was it fast, and we couldn t be happier. Thank you Butter and Jenny for helping us make the right decision for our family and while this experience can be stressful, we really enjoyed the entire journey.

I can't say enough good things about Elfant Wissahickon. We purchased our first home with them and they were so easy to work with, very communicative and all around professional. It can be daunting and stressful to navigate this process and they always broke things down for us in ways that were both honest and reassuring. They always had our back. Would highly recommend!

This is our second time working with Karrie Gavin....

This is our second time working with Karrie Gavin. She helped us buy our first home back in 2012, and was really the sole reason we were able to buy in the first place. Her knowledge of the marketplace, industry trends, and real estate opportunities helped us identify a mortgage assistance program that helped us secure a huge chunk of our down payment. Without that help, owning would never have been a reality for us. When we bought the first time we were unmarried, and didn't have any children yet. This time around, we needed to stage, sell, and find something new in another part of the city. All with full time jobs and two young kids. Our needs were much more extensive, and the stakes much higher. The process had a lot more moving (no pun intended) parts, and Karrie was integral to each decision- from cost considerations, to space needed, to schools, and beyond. She took the time to talk through each step with us, and never steered us wrong. It wasn't always an easy process, but because of Karrie's exceptional skills and expertise, we knew we were getting the absolute best representation and service possible. I would (and do) recommend her to anyone who will listen!

Full disclosure, I am now an agent at this company, but before I was an agent, I was a client. Growing up in Philadelphia, Elfant Wissahickon was always the trusted local brokerage that everyone I knew worked with, and when it was time to buy my first home, there was only one place I d consider going. The great care that my agent and everyone else I interacted with, from the broker to the front desk staff, took to ensure a positive home buying experience, was exceptional. If you are looking for market knowledge, integrity and just a truly wonderful group of people, look no further!

After knowing Neil Kugelman through family members...

After knowing Neil Kugelman through family members since I was a baby I unfortunately made the mistake of trusting him and hiring him as my realtor. No less than a month later I am already on the hunt for a new realtor. Neil unfortunately treated me as a last priority from the beginning. 70% of the listings I received from him were in the one township I said I did not want to live in, despite several reminders. I was expected to catch all houses that popped up on the MLS for sale on my own. Due to the pandemic I was able to meet this burden- however I can t imagine trying to do this in a normal hectic world on my own. The very few houses I did request to see Neil just completely forgot to schedule. One or two he was able to work with the agent to squeeze us in-between appointments, however the others I just got an apology for and pretty much was SOL. Scheduling appointments and getting back to clients about newly listed properties within a day or 2, Neil said himself is above his expectation level. Keep in mind I said I was willing to see properties ANY time with the exception of the same two hour block every week. I knew this was important because many houses were going under contract the same day they were listed, and all were contingent within a few days. I kindly addressed the consistent failure to even schedule appointments, but on the last occasion (less than a month together) Neil said he wasn t able to meet that need. Keep in mind this came after again failing to schedule the single house I requested to see this weekend and therefore was unable to see it, and then failing to return outreach about the possibility of a different property. Neil cannot keep up in today s fast paced environment (and makes no apologies for it), and instead of doing what is right by his client and hire an assistant or perhaps enlist the help of some of his team or dare I say it - retire he will attempt to earn the trust and business of any potential client, only to have them miss out on the house of their dreams and be completely indifferent about the matter. Oh- I almost forgot to mention on several occasions he sent my personal information to the wrong people.. I mean personal information that you should be concerned would allow someone to steal your identity... I only knew because two of them contacted me to let me know, and if that isn t enough he even wrote an entire offer and sent it with the correct personal information and last name.. but incorrect first name. Do yourself a favor and hire a realtor that will act on your behalf and invest the time and sincerity into such an important decision (and not make you want to change your bank accounts & social security number).

As first-time homebuyers, their expertise was instrumental in helping us navigate the buying process, from securing homeowners insurance to appraisal and settlement. They also found us a lovely home. As stressful as home buying can be, it was reassuring to have great professionals in our corner every step of the way. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.

We just bought our first home and Kaia Leitham was a fantastic realtor to work with. Professional, knowledgeable, and punctual. All our questions (quite a bit) were answered quickly and clearly. She made buying our home stress free and comfortable. She s the best!
