Elephant Room, Inc. Review

The art exhibit I saw today was very powerful. It would have been better to have gotten a narration about each work of art, how the artist came about creating the artwork. I guess that was done on the opening presentation that I wasnt able to make. The works I took pictures of were my favorites. I was so mezmorized with the character with the boom box. Loved the choice of background coloring and intricate detailing. The techniques use on the wood were just exquisitely illustrated.

I read that this art gallery, Elephant Room Gallery, suffered damage and loss from the violence in 2020. I am so sorry that happened to your business. I hope and pray for the very best for you. Peace on earth

This gallery does a fantastic job curating dynamic shows of primarily local, emerging artists. Elephant Room Gallery is a great hub of the artistic community in Chicago, with dynamic opening receptions, artist workshops, and other cultural events. Featuring a combination of beautiful, thought-provoking artwork, plus a warm and welcoming atmosphere, Elephant Room Gallery is a gem of the Chicago art scene.

I went for a work shop. The workshop was great but the staff opened the door for ventilation only to turn the place into a bowling alley. I couldn't breathe. It's the second time this has happened. They just need a fan.

This gallery is wonderful at showcasing up-and-coming and local artists. The space also offers artist talks and really fun opening events. The art is always interesting and their staff have always been really helpful with any questions or information I needed. Highly recommend!
