Very cosy small cinema. Comfy red sofas with footstools at the end. There were even cashmere blankets for use. Small table on either side. Only critique is that there isn t a waiting area with seats if you re a little early and if you need to use the toilets you have to go the electric diner which is next door. Don t recommend the electric diner missed out on food because of staff communication issues.

Stuck for something to do on a rainy british day.... head to the Electric Cinema in Nottinghill - it's a beautiful cinema and comfortable to boot!

Awesome big winged chairs with footstools, beds and sofas to sit in with the added treat of blankets... it's a home away from home!

Enjoy the evening with a drink at the bar, or a movie snack all served by waistcoat wearing staff.

Definitely recommend this place 100% - I will be returning very soon!

Service was totally crap. Rude and slow. Food was cold and disgusting. Thank god the film was good so it didn't feel like a total waste of money. If you are looking for a unique special film experience that really lives up to the price, find somewhere else

Alongside the Lounge at Whiteleys up the road, this is my favourite cinema. It has sofas, beds, armchairs and genuinely homely feel to it. Book in advance as difficult to get last minute tickets - Cashmere blankets and a brilliant sausage roll. The food has been going downhill a little recently - but just buy pick and mix outside and grab a bite in the Electric diner next door if you're hungry.

Lovely venue, bust cinema in London! Comfy seats, accomodating staff, and a brilliant experience! No one on their phones during the film, no one talking, no reason to go anywhere else! I will be back!

So much history...
Used to love it on a Saturday late night showing when Lemmy (RIP) from Motorhead turned up with his girlfriend in sunglasses.
Used to have a chat with him really nice guy, did not say much but a legend.
This cinema HAS history!!

It is one of my favourite cinema in London. First of all for the location. Right in the middle of portobello road. Second, the diner next door has some amazing dishes and serves good cocktails. Third, the cinema itself has ginormous couches and, depending on the show/movie they have some live bands playing the soundtrack while you watch the movie. How cool is that?

To all of you who like having a good glass of wine while watching a movie - this place is for you. Well, the cinema hall is actually not so spacious, but I like it. The chairs are comfy and the screen is huge enough. The bar inside is also well-stocked, so whatever you prefer, you won't be disappointed.
Awesome place.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, vintage looking. Great inside and out. Booked front row beds and they were very spacious and comfy, was able to see the whole screen perfectly. Alcohol available as well as sweets, cakes and ice cream. No popcorn and also quite hot in the room as poor or no air con.

It is truly a luxury experiance. We watched the post on a bed with blankets and long cushions. The staff was so nice and welcoming.
There is a bar just next door where you can wait and have a few drinks and some food before the show.
I would advise booking ahead of time as it is a popular venue for regular and one time movie goers.

Amazing baby friendly cinema. You can watch films with your little one/ under one year old baby at the program called Electric scream . There are big beds in the first row and big sofas from the second row back. Though they say the price includes coffee/tea, did not include it when I got there in January. But still worth visit. Good for mums for a change, you don t need to worry about your baby s crying, pooping, burping during a film because we are all in the same boat!

Overall a great experience but was disappointed to find the bed and cushions covered in crumbs and stains. Ended up just turning the cushions over and wiping the bed myself. Not a massive issue but disappointing given the price and upmarket portrayal. Also was very hot when we first entered. Definitely would go again though, water jugs at the rear were a nice addition and beds were nice and comfortable although was under the impression you received blankets with those. Anyway would recommend.

Literally 5* Experience! Super cosy! You can grab a bottle of wine from the bar, their are free blankets on the bed. Perfect distance from the screen! Highly highly recommend! Definitely coming back! Ideal for couples or a cute first date!

This is a wonderful cinema. This beautiful, Victorian, cinema has been lovingly restored. It has luxurious leather sofas and armchairs and a row of double beds in the front row which are very comfortable.
The cinema contains a drinks and snack bar with waiter service to your seat.
The screen now, hydraulically, extends out to expand to a large size.
The only downside I experienced, is that there seems to be a staircase behind the doors on the left hand side, possibly serving a kitchen, and there was quite a lot of distracting noise coming from here during the movie.

I am reviewing the cinema area as this is part of a complex under the same name. It is not cheap but the ambiance to watch a movie here is super. I did enjoy the fact that I could also drink some quality latte while watching a cult movie or the most recent indie blockbuster. Their online reservation system is pretty good and you should use it to secure your tickets!

Good covid awareness and easy to distance given the layout of the cinema. The rear sofas do not have a good view of the screen but they are somewhat secluded. Front beds are good, not tooo close if still a bit closer than ideal.

This theater is historic and the inside looks very regal. There are nice arms chairs, couches or front row beds to choose from. We chose the front row bed and loved it. They are comfortable and appear to be very clean. They provide you with nice blankets. There is a bar with some snacks at the back of the theater. We absolutely loved it! Definitely recommend!
