Its like too small for the amount of people that go to the mall
Going the way of so many malls across the US.... decline.
I was there when it opened in 1969.
Big and decent venue choices. My kids love the train rides. Food court has some good food.
Went to a few different shops. Not much of selection and less help.
Very clean. Not usually super busy, has ice cream as well as dipping dots and soda. Fast service, usually only two people working though.
While it is open and large, I do recommend putting restrooms on the first floor, if not done so already.
It feels like a relic of the past. Needs some serious updates.
There was a lot to do here, but the place wasn't very clean and it was hit or miss on whether the staff of the store was nice or not. I'd hit up the Greene or Fairfield commons instead.
It offers so many different shops and anything your looking for you will probably find it at the Dayton mall and it is very close to me.
The mall cool and all but they don't have an Express store...
My wallet got stolen and they could not help me. Told me first that they had a theft that was more important than helping me. After this I stayed in the mall walking up and down in shock that it was stolen. Went back was talking to assocites myself then office members told me lady would get back to me they have another theft. After viewing the camera told me that their camera rotate and missed me and the person who stole my wallet
If i could give this Business 0 stars I would.
I paid over $2,000 dollars for a Pomeranian - Chihuahua "Pomchi"
After bringing home the puppy, we quickly realized that he was not a pomchi. At 6 months he was already over 15 pounds. We had our vet, administer a "wisdom panel" the world's leading dog DNA test. The results concluded that the dog we received was 62.5% poodle, 12.5% yorkshire and 25 % mongrel (mutt).
Upon receipt of the DNA test I called Fetch Puppies to issue a complaint and request a refund.
The owner was extremely defensive and insisted that the DNA test I received was inaccurate. He requested I send him pictures of my dog now and all the DNA documentation i recieved. He said he would be in touch with his breeder and return my phone call on Monday or Tuesday the following week.
Peter refused to accept the science or records from our veterinarian PROVING that our puppy was NOT the breed we purchased.
Peter refused to refund our purchase. We tried to work with Peter to make things right, or figure our how something like this could have happened. We paid a PREMIUM price for a POMCHI and we did not receive one.
Great place but not what it used to be. Alot of stores have closed down but it's still a great place to spend a weekend if you feel like shopping
A good mall. However, they are losing many stores. The empty store fronts just look depressing.
Great stores but they need to have people that are able to help consumers find other stores
Mid sized, somewhat dingy, but few empty storefronts, which is nice.
Seriously going down by the wayside which is sad. Since Elder Biermann is closed and sears now it's not worth going with other stores now following suit.
Great Mall with a good variety of shops, and larger stores with more selection.
Very busy. Austin pike ramp is just poorly set up. High traffic volume
Surprisingly vibrant, given so many malls around the country are largely empty. Anchor stores Macy's and JC Penney are still present, but, sadly, Elder Beerman is no longer in business. Lots of the usual specialty shops. The food court is upstairs and, even though it's a bit limited, Steak Escape is really good. If you're looking for table service, there are chain restaurants on outparcels in the parking lot.
Many stores still in the mall contrary to popular belief! More safe than people make it sound!!
This mall needs a facelift. There are so many empty stores that it's depressing to go there.
I don't really understand why it closes at 6:00 on Sundays. That seems a bit too early. Sometimes Sunday is the only day off for people, and when it closes at 6:00, they are just removing more chances of better business. So I can understand why people refuse to go.
Great stores, but the bathroom is disgusting. There were shirts in the stalls, and they were all wet and disgusting.
Dirty, not as safe as it could be,. Layout if the mall is old and many empty stores.
Some Actual mom and and pop operations. Reminds you of a old flee market with major stores anchoring.
This once great place to go shopping has seriously went downhill fast in the last few years. If something doesn't happen quickly to turn it around I feel it'll meet its demise much like the Salem Mall did.
They are improving it for the better. More jobs for the people in Dayton
Guess I'm getting old... Kids screaming drove me crazy.
One of the more popular dying malls around. Actually has stores worth going to though but you can see the population dwindling. Clean with lots of stores and the food court is good. Definetly not packed with people which is a good thing but that means sales reps in the stores are super pushy about sales and buying things. Yay capitalism. Mostly filled with middle age moms who think theyre still hip and annoying teenagers. Its clean and theres lots of options, that's it though.
Parking was OK. I'm still disappointed Elder Bearman went out of business. Glad to see other shops and department stores still thriving inside the mall though. Lots of traffic in the mall. Neat and tidy. It's also posted that Teens 16 and under are not permitted after 4p on weekends without an adult.
A lot of stores have left, but the mall seems to be filling the spaces again with new tenants. The exterior of this center is rather rough and the interior is somewhat dated but it appears that people still come to shop. It would be nice to see the two empty anchor stores filled again.
Great mall. Regular mall all name brand stores & some high end shops
It's a nice mall not too big not too small. I do feel like it could be a little more clean.
Parking could be better. I liked the Spirit Halloween store.
This place is going down hill. Old Navy moving out 1/9/19, Sears gone, Elder Beerman gone, several empty stores and couple closing
Starting to see outlet stores. Great sale at Macy's.
Just dropped a bundle at ULTA beauty!! But it was my duty!!!!
Sporting goods store with a good selection for the sports enthusiast. If you have questions about sports equipment, the staff is very knowledgeable. If you are able to wait before purchasing, their sales are generally pretty good because their everyday prices are kind of high.
The Dayton Mall is making a wonderful comeback lots of places to shop
Went to lenscrafter great Dr. John Smith unfortunately frames are very high pricd
Still love going to this place... Even after about 30 years.
Didn't actually go into the mall just went to outer stores and restaurant
Sort of a standard mall experience. Nothing spectacular, but it's nice for a night out.
Its pretty sad when there are age restrictions to be at the mall.
Close and offers a variety of stores for one stop shopping
Way more boy clothes and shoes than girls. I guess they think girls aren't as outdoorsy as boys
Smelled like weed as always! People should really have enough respect for others to not go into public smelling like a bong!!
The mall has really been improving. More shops and less emptiness.
The mall has made great upgrades but just issues with the crowds occasionally.
The Dayton mall is not the same as it used to be. It used to thrive with businesses now it looks like it's going out of business
Lost Elder Beerman and now Sears. This place is sad and creepy to walk thru.
