Don't waste your time. Urban youth with nothing to do walk around getting in everyone else's way. Last time I was there group of young men got upset that I dare walk through the mall and not move out of their way. One made threats until I turned around and started back towards him. I'd say this place is headed the direction of the Salem Mall. People with money and cars go elsewhere where they can shop in peace without being hassled and threatened. All you need to know is that a CCW individual shot and killed a urban youth who tried to steal a new pair of sneakers from him a few years ago. Sad to see what used to be a great place go to waste.
Stopped in over the weekend after not being in there for 10 years. I couldn't get out fast enough. This mall should be renamed Salem Mall 2.
It's ok, Nice, basic mall.
Horrible food court with little variety. you only need so many Asian food options (which I enjoy) in one place and you smell like food court smoke for hours after you leave the food court.
Look at Polaris and Easton 'n Columbus
Shopping for my kids we found what we were looking for, decent, clean shopping mall
Great setup but needs more work to attract traffic. Good collection of stores.
I LOVE THIS PLACE. I love the foods and shopping and the great family environment.
Always a blast from the past for me. This was "my Mall" during my teen years. Glad it's survived!!
Always can find what you're looking for at the stores
They've been losing shops but still love this place.
Macys, JC Penneys and Sears have the best quality and great sales
I love the Dayton Mall. They have a ton of stores. The sales people are super nice and helpful. There's plenty of parking and it's kid friendly.
Found what we were looking for easliy. Checkout was fast. Great job
They have a few good store that's I love to shop in ...
It's on the rise again I would love to see the mall where it was before
Pretty good experience. Some stores are open and some are not. None of the restrooms are open in the mall as well.
This place is not what it used to be. Shopping isn't what it used to be. Big department stores, all the shops, all the hustle and bustle.. But the Dayton Mall is still there. I wish more stores would move in. Online shopping has killed malls. I still support the mall. I used to spend my weekends at the mall, do kids do that anymore? :)
It was okay but the big highlight was Hunger Paynes the food truck people have set up a bar and sell food right there in the middle how cool long overdue
Decent stores a little dirty at times but all in all a pretty good mall
We had a great time with all the sales at so many stores.
Wonderful fit of shops and great food court. I wish they would put a Nike and Apple store in here but otherwise it s great.
Mall Itself is okay but the traffic is terrible during peak hours
Good store selection, lots of food choices close by and generally not very crowded.
This mall is quite small, but if you're not a mad, big time shopper, this mall will have most of the items you're looking for. Besides the lack of many brand stores, the overall ambiance is chill, and the facilities are clean.
Can definitely be crowded, especially when the weather is less than ideal or around the holidays, but is great for delivering a classic mall experience. No surprises, and there are some notably vacant spots, but it's kept clean. The outdoor marketplace areas have a more welcoming, current feel that keeps it from looking too dated.
Its fun to come here and look at all the stupid house keepers waste their life working the worst job imaginable.
Play area is good but food court needs something new
Good place to find gym shoes and they had ping pong. Chess and other games to play.
Guitar center was very unorganized with junk laying all over the place, fall hazard behind the counter.
I come here every Wednesday for haircuts, has nice atmosphere but around 4 the place gets flooded with customers
Lame old mall, parking lot is way to cramped as they have sold all available space to make more businesses for an outside mall.
The mall traffic is awful and the actual mall is a dump.
I enjoy the Mediterranean food and people watching. Mia and I come here often for a variety of wants and needs, specifically clothing items.
Because this is the only mall that has one store that i like
Enjoy the benefits of shopping multiple specialty stores
Nice place to shop when visiting Dayton...used to be way more popular; attention now given more to Fairfield Commons and other area malls.
They have a lot candy machines, and just about every story you would want.
Dipping Dots pretty much sucks. Not real ice cream, there are much better options near by.
I do not recommend this mall. Take the extra 5-10 mins and go to the Fairfield
They're losing tenants but managing to keep things up.
Nothing very special here. It's a mall so going there is akin to traveling to the late eighties.
There are a good selection of shops here at this mall. I've been here a few times and I enjoy coming here and we will be back.
Was there once and almost got lost, i guess maybe i'm new in town
It always smells like someone took a dump around every corner ... Some of the stores as well ... Lol ... Other then that it's a good place to go to waste some time
A sad mall that is past it's expiration date. Surprised it is still open
Seen some new things added still found the stores I love. Nice mall
The mall is very nice. I love the park for are son. And the animals for the kids to ride. The prices are just way over priced at most stores. But its clean and they have lots of things even to just window shop.
