Took quite some time to flag down a waitress to take our order. Once we were situated it was nice. The live music ended then the DJ tore it up. We had a good time. Good drinks (a little weak) and excellent food.

Nice bar and grill. Really good beer selection. Inexpensive. Friendly staff and customers. Did not eat, but all the dishes I saw looked great.

Always great food and atmosphere. Have noticed "the regulars " get most of the attention.

Pretty chill and low key bar. I'm a big fan. Small place with plenty of room and style. The staff and people seemed pretty happy. Drinks arent too expensive and they have dancing and karaoke witch is always a plus. If I lived here I would probably frequent this bar often. 9/10 would reccomend.

Always enjoyable for Thursday night karaoke. The late-night menu isn't too bad either.

Worst service ever. Waited over a half hr to get something to drink. I don't think it's right that if your not drinking alcohol that you get ignored. If it wasn't for karaoke I wouldn't even come to this place.

Such a fun place! Nice and clean, the food is amazing, the staff is nice, and the manager makes you feel like family! There's always a special, someone performing, or an event going on. Try this place out!

Disgusting place very nasty dont even know how people even go here. The food was so nasty i got sick and wanted to throw up and i didnt even have a drink.

I really enjoy this bar with a 'Cheers' like feeling and atmosphere.

Cool place, laid back older crowd. But be careful, cops like to sit across the street and bust people leaving.

The staff has a habit of taking your drinks when you are not looking.

Place has always been great, but know they have dozens of local brew on draft as well. The Effing Turkey is real good.

Great service and the food was excellent. My wife and I had Fish and Chips and also a steak (which was cooked correctly the first time)

Parking was plenty when I was there and the atmosphere is social bar setting, its was calm. Area is pretty small and the service was friendly. The price was decent and the food i got was good. I ordered fish and chips and the fries was crispy and not oily and soggy. The battered fish was the first time i tried it, i haven't had fish for awhile, it was ok it wasn't bland, the batter was crispy and the tartar sauce was good. Fish wasn't for me for the first time trying it deep fried. Also got the enchilada plate, the Mexican rice was under cooked it was raw, it had a lime taste to it. I didn't like it and the enchiladas with the red sauce was ok it wasn't bland. Its a good place to hang out with friends and grab some drinks.

Great stop, will have to eat next time. But super cold beer! Horray!

Effing Bar is prejudiced against disabled people. Uncaring, unfeeling and unapologetic.

This place has the best food for a bar and grill. The staff is very friendly. I love going there!

The food is pretty good for bar food. However if you get the fried shrimp, dont expect the normal cocktail sause you'd get elsewhere. The cocktail sause they have is some weird spicy sauce they made up. The service is no where near acceptable. The regulars, who are an older crowd, are always taking up the bar top and get serviced first and faster. Usually there is only one person who handles the bar top and the rest of the bar so it takes 5-10 mins to be greeted and even when you do, you feel rushed. Then after you get your drinks it takes about about 10 mins for the server to come back to get you food order. Once you get your food, the server doesn't return until you're done eating. I thought this maybe a one or 2 time thing but it's constant. If you decide to go to effing bar, dont expect a "hi" a "how are you doing" or anything similar to that.

Nice place to go to during the day not the night though.

The place is not bad, but the staff is very arrogant, they did not want to accept my visa as an id nor my Mexican id, the service was very slow and we only ordered beer.

Rude, messed up my food, argued that it was done correctly, then admitted he was wrong after I asked for my money back. Oh- and the manager, heard it all, knew the story, handed my refund he completed to the bar tender, and didn't even come over, make eye contact with me - absolutely nothing. Walked away like he could care less. We give them so much business, I will be sure to let everyone know how they treat customers. RIDICULOUS!

great prices, nice bar. has potential but servers and bar maids take care regulars only. server helped the table next to our 3 times and did not bother to check on us. I always have to get up and get my own drink from the bartender. would rather go to sidelines any day when on the westside
