Used to love going here, but this last time we had to wait an extremely long time for both our drinks and our food.

Vegetarian options seem like they were put together by peeps who love meat. It's a cool vibe though.

Ok but was expecting more from others recommendations

Well let's see we have been here for an hour and a half and still have not gotten the apps we ordered. When the waitress came to take our order she told us the kitchen was short staffed and didn't want to make any more food but she was going to make them anyway...well guess what? As a paying customer I think if you are open, you have a kitchen, and it's dinner time you better make some food! The last staw came when the waitress came to tell us an hour and 45 mins after we ordered appetizers that they had run out of cheese curds. They were not busy leading me to believe they had not done their order correctly for the week. I haven't been here in years and now i remember why the last time I sat at the bar for 15 mins while the bartender ignored me for the college girls at the other end... I don't wait this long for crappy bar food.

Very disappointed this place used to always get 5 stars but tonight service was slow and the place was dirty and it was not that busy

Great app special on Mondays. Very poor service. It's as though they can't get us out of the door fast enough. Probably won't go back. Sad cause we really do like the atmosphere. :-(

Betty Jo's is one of the few restaurants in Winona not named Subway or McDonalds. It has an above average beer selection, but it is mostly bottle beer. There are a good number to TVs to watch sports, but they are not obnoxiously placed. The food is better than your typical bar fare, but they keep it fairly basic with alot of sandwiches and burger options. There are daily specials including fish and prime rib, which tend to be fairly good. The wait staff are usually college students, but they do a fine job with the menu and drinks.

Betty Jo's has gone completely down hill. Many staple menu items scratched off all menus. Food portions and quality has decreased. Avoid dining here.

Tonight we went to Betty jos as it is Family weekend here in Winona. It s was crazy in there, but the servers and bartender handled eveuthing perfect. They all communicated with each other and we did wait a very long time for food, but we expected that coming in when it was packed full and there was tables waiting in line. When going into a place that s full, you should expect a long wait time. There were tables In there who were not as patient. I thought everyone did a great job and cominuated wonderfully. Even with angry customers the servers handles eveuthing the way they should have. The only thing that was execeptable was the people who decided to yell at the employees and complain about long wait times when they came in on a busy weekend and saw the whole place packed. Everyone did great. will be coming back!

Standard small town restaurant. Cold beer, decent burger, pretty much all you can ask for.

Great as usual they had a new special today chicken thighs and slaw with a smoked rub I believe they're Awesome!

Place was nice. Service good. Actual number of draft beers on hand poor. Steaks poor. On a Saturday nite, no less. Not happy.

Horrible food! Maybe 3 slices of meat on a french dip that tasted awful. The waitress said they would take 20% off only what a joke. As a Lyft driver I'll never recommend this place.

I had a Center street slider. It was a really great burger. The service was really good, especially considering how busy they were.

Food was less than ordinary. One menu option was a huge amount of food & the other was smaller than a kids meal... orders were cooked too long. Waitress never returned to check on us after we got our meal nor a drink refill till we were ready to leave. Place was very filthy! Hands stuck to drink menu...

Great local place with a fun atmosphere. We come here often for beer and sandwich. They have lots of interesting local memorabilia and good service. On Sundays the burgers are two for one. They also have some yummy sandwiches and nightly specials. I had the chili one and it was delicious. Highly recommended local favorite!

Like its history and ambience - kind of expensive these days- was annoyed by the flies in the dining room the other day.

I'll change this review next time I try this place and I don't wait 2.5 hours for my dinner.

One of the better bar and grills in town, the atmosphere is very fun and open with allot of stuff on the wall to look at and talk about. Food is average and prices likewise, drinks are nothing special.

The food was great, as was the service. Betty Jo's is in a historic part of town and has a very unique atmosphere.

Great bloody mary's and burgers.. A definite stop for hair of the dog and a good bite to eat.

The whole place is dirty, THEIR CARPET STICKS TO YOUR SHOES! Would never recommend this as a place to eat.

Asked for our waitress twice and finally left after waiting too long as no one to take our dinner order. Went somewhere else for dinner.

The manager is in the wrong profession! Food would be great if an issue with the food wasn't always a factor! A group of us went for wings. A mother and 7 year old daughter seated near us ordered the all you can eat spaghetti. They waited 20 minutes for their food and that wasn't counting the 20 minuted before that when they waited to place the order! After the little girl tried a bite she felt the sauce was too spicy. So her mom asked for just plain noodles seeing it was all you can eat and the waitress said it would be another 30 minutes!!! Then the mom asked if she could have some extra sauce on hers the waitress said that would be about 20 minutes! Now at 6pm how do you run out when you aren't busy!?! So the mom asked to speak to the manager. That woman was rude right from the start and would not budge on not charging for the girls dinner. Wtf you have no product!! So the mom paid the $7 for her daughters one bite of sauce and went to McDonalds :-(
We also have never been back cause we keep having issues but watching the mom and daughter situation was our last straw!!!

Some great food (Center Street Slider, add bacon) and decent service. Along with a good selection of beers and plenty of TVs, it's no wonder my friends and I made it the place to watch football on Sundays.

Service was slow and food cold for some of our group.

A bar with no bar food. Disappointed because they had no food available that night only an appertizer. Wasn't sure for what reason because we had burgers there before.

Services are perfect and the food is always great too and the atmosphere is a great time

This place has gone down hill so fast. When we went there, we waited forever for our drinks, our food was completely screwed up and we were only checked on once, and we were sitting at the bar! We still tipped 40% (even though we shouldn't have) and when we got home we literally smelt like the restaurant, pure grease. My hair and my winter coat smelt like grease so bad I had to wash it righty when we got home. Also, Some co workers of mine recently went there on a Friday night after bowling to get food and drinks and were told they couldn't order any food, just apps, at 9pm. when the grill doesn't close until 10. Safe to say, none of us will ever be returning there until they get some better staff and managers.

We always stop here for a meal when we're in Winona. Our favorites are the Chicken Tender Sandwich and the Chicken Cordon Bleu.

Good, local place to eat in Winona. Bub's is definitely a better option but this is a very good substitute if the prior has a long wait.

Usually love this place but, now it will be a while before we go back. Bartender said straight out us that she didn't want to be there. The food was horrible

Food has always been good with a good selection. Impressive beer selection with good rotation. Service at bar and at table was decent. Prices were a little high. Overall for the area and part of town, would recommend.

A rather average dining experience with an okay selection of bottled beer.

Located downtown and near the river levee. A good spot for a quick meal and watching sports on TV.
