This is my favorite sushi place in this area. The atmosphere and service are excellent. There is a lot of variety on the menu. I'm sure you'll find something you'll like. I always see something new on the menu and can't wait to try it.
Great atmosphere, reasonable prices on sushi, high quality
My family and I eat here all the time. Today was definitely not a great visit. Myself and another customer stated that the online website was not allowing us to place and order. Also, they would not take orders over the phone. The manager came and told us it was her first day back (who cares?) and she needed to consult with the GM. Well she never came back, even after standing there for 20 minutes trying to still place an order online and waiting for her direction on what to do next. We drove 30 minutes to get there. Good news for the other customer who was complaining with us. Her daughter finally got them to answer the phone and they took her order over the phone. When I finally got through, I was told no phone orders. Very inconsistent! Very disappointed! I ll spend our $100 somewhere else!! And what a terrible manager to not come back. An associate was kind enough to help us, although we decided to leave. She is the one who should be the manager. If she just came back she needs to go back wherever she s been, I d give 0 stars if I could.
Never a disappointment! I haven't found another sushi place that comes close to this one, AND I have been looking bc we are not near eeZ anymore. Must visit!!
It s not often that someone with a bizarre fish, lobster, and shrimp allergy can go to a sushi spot and not only have options to choose from but also feel comfortable ordering, trusting they won t go into anaphylaxis! This place, it s true. Very accommodating to the allergies and AMAZING food! Love being able to design my own rolls and dishes. Service has been good as well.
Delicious and fresh sushi in a great atmosphere. Sake is cold and tasty. The yellowtail melted in my mouth.

Went with a couple of friends and it wasn't a bad place. The food was ok, its your typical cookie cutter asian and sushi restaurant. It is pretty popular so you may go there and love it, but for me I don't care much for going back.

I live nearby and this is a favorite place of mine, particularly to get my sushi fix. For what the place is (fusion and sushi, not sushi and fusion), it's quite good. I'd say the majority of the sushi menu is non traditional, but good. The quality of nigiri I'd put in the top half or third of places I've been into in the US. It's a bit on the pricey side, though admittedly their expensive specialty rolls are quite large. Other than that the service and atmosphere have been great any time I've been in. It gets busy, as does every place in Birkdale Village, so plan ahead.
This has become one of my favorite local spots as the staff is always quick and polite and the food always delicious. We ordered the Calamari and Pot Stickers which were perfectly cooked and the calamari wasn t chewy at all. I had the bento box with Szechuan chicken and it was sweet and spicy. If I had one complaint about it, the chicken was a wee bit overdone and the sauce was a tad on the salty side. The pickled cucumbers were a great palate cleanser and the jasmine rice was a wee bit dry and may need a little rice wine vinegar or something. My sister had sushi which she claimed was amazing. As for the grand finale, the banana s Foster is probably the best I ve ever had.

Best sushi on the east coast! Our waiter was very attentive and the food was amazing. This was the first time we had dessert and the bananas foster was definitely worth it. Sorry I didn't take pictures before we stated eating.
My husband and I love this place! The good is so good and the portions...huge. I had a pineapple and chicken fried rice and my husband had seafood fried rice. He also had a sushi dish. If you are in the area, this place is a must. Enjoy!

Five star for offering and giving my dog a bowl of water. We had to sit out on their patio area because we brought our dog, so I didn't really see the ambience inside the resto. Sushi was ok, the fish were fresh but not the best Japanese food I sampled. $ is affordable so that's great, and one reason to go back in case my kids feel like having Japanese food.

One of my favorite places in the Charlotte area for sushi. Good cocktails too. I like the Kings roll and Avocado Tuna Martini. They also have a good menu for kids.
The food was both unique and well prepared. Our server Troy was very attentive.
We have eaten at eeZ many times and have enjoyed it every time! They have a really great children's menu too. We love the sushi and other dishes! Highly recommended!

I'm not really a sushi fan so is not fare for me to rate the food. The service however was great and we certainly enjoyed out experience there.

Prices are ridiculous for NC. I'm from NY and these prices are absurd for quality. I get that it's hard to get quality fish especially raw here in NC but don't jack up prices for standard fish just because you think you can...and in top of that..some of the worst wait staff service in industry. So disappointed..heard fairly decent reviews considering prices . wouldn't care if expensive if the food was worth it..
Great place for sushi and drinks! Service was great, our glasses were never empty. The food came out fast and it was delicious! We got the deluxe sashimi platter and the ramen. The ramen had overflowing toppings and the broth was very rich. The presentation for the sashimi was impeccable but our favorite was the crab rangoon dip appetizer. It had a sweet and spicy sauce drizzled over the crispy chips and it complemented the dip perfectly.
Wow walked in at 6:15 the hostess never looked up and I waited while my husband walked to the bathroom and back! During that time she never said Hello but keep looking at her screen and talking on her ear piece. About 8 minutes passed before she asked how many in your party? I mean really we decided to leave! Get your customer service better as it starts at the door!
Always a good relaxing place for the wife and I to go and enjoy ourselves with out the 4 kids.

Surprisingly good service. One day my kids knocked over a table. It was no issue. Another day, they walked the food out to my car that was pretty far away. Everything I have tried on the menu is great. The Boss is my go-to.

I've been here several times now and I have yet to have a bad meal. The Crab Rangoon Dip is an absolute must. I highly recommend the Snake in the Grass cocktail. It's a unique take on a mule and is especially refreshing in summer and pairs quite well with the top notch sushi. If notordering from the sushi menu the Thai Coconut Curry is fantastic.

It has really good sushi, but can be a little pricey. Parking can be challenge, especially on weekends and evenings. Summer is a very busy time of the year.
The best sushi & service! We ve enjoyed eating here for 12 or more years. The sushi has always been fresh and the size of the rolls is consistent.
The restaurant takes allergies very serious and they will accommodate you in the best way they can. They ve done very well preparing our sushi away from other shellfish, you can trust they ll take a good allergy serious.
Also,we ve order take out numerous times and it was prepared quickly and correctly.

The Mad Mango roll is the only sushi you need in your life! So good with a good heaping of spicy mayo. Yummy in my tummy. The ginger dressing in the side salad is pretty amazing too.
The best sushi restaurant at Lake Norman for sure. As a sushi lover I have tried to find a real sushi and rolls restaurant. I tried so many, I even bought sushi in Publix, Chinese buffets, but couldn t find the really great place, like really Japanese style. And one of the good thing I love, they have good plates and utensils, which is hard to find in American restaurants. Nobody cares about appearance if the location has a lot of customers but Eez! I really enjoy their dishes, appearance, and smell.
Sushi was really good. Tried a few new things. I was impressed. It was a little pricy but good.
My absolute favorite thing at Eez is the build your own Sushi option! It's always delicious, they have tons of options, and I love that they have an option for soy paper if you don't want a seaweed wrap. Staff is always very nice. There can be a wait If it's a popular night, so be prepared for that.
When I don t like the food but I know it was well made, I politely say it was nutritious.
Perhaps next time it will be better, when I choose a different dish.

Absolutely love eeZ! I've been twice now and both times were a great experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about menu items and drink menu and quick to offer suggestions. I had a bento box with Szechuan chicken and holy moly it was tasty. All the items are so cute and compliment each other very well. Although the cucumbers might seem like a throw away side, they are exceptional. Tangy, sweet, and crisp; a perfect compliment to my spicy entree. My friends and I also shared the crab ragoon dip and it was so decadent! I loved dippy in the crust wonton chips. So creative! I can't wait to try something new at my next visit.
