Stopped by chance with boat. Really glad we did. Really good restaurant, great food with lovely presentation. Service was really first class and everyone spoke English to us. Atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Place to moor up outside as well.
Has to be the best Cafe in Friesland. Friendly staff, great food, the locals were also friendly. And the place has an amazing view of the river where you can wine and dine all day. Try the nachos! Very tasty. I spent 12noon to 8pm here with lots of wine. Can't wait to be back!

We first passed this restaurant in 2001 and on many occasions since, but never at the right time to stop. However, today there was a mooring space available and the restaurant just open in time for a late lunch. Our bacon and cheese Uitsmijters were much enjoyed, sitting outside with a view of our boat
Super comfortable atmosphere and extremely friendly staff! Prices are fantastic too; I highly reccomend.
A great place to sit and watch boats going by on the river especially during the summer. The eetcafe is good, not top class but well run, good service.
