This is a must-do dining experience in Tampa! 5x James Beard best chef semifinalist, Chef Peirola is a flavor combination genius. Nothing short of phenomenal throughout every dish. Can't wait to go back! Plus service was in point!

The food in general is very good, pricy but good. Nicely decorated, creative, a bit experimental and carefully served at the right temperature and with delicious little details.
I expected the cocktails to be better, they are good but not fantastic. Mine, the pillow talk, had too much ice, I almost could not feel the rose flavor, it felt small and too tame. I'll try something else next time.
The best part is the desert don't miss the dark chocolate dome, it is out of this world. Simply extraordinaire!
The crowd is upscale and people come well dressed, I was clearly underdressed but the staff treated me with decor and I felt welcomed.
This is one of the best restaurants around Tampa Bay.

I had a fantastic meal here. We ordered almost everything on the menu! The only thing that prevented me from having a 5 star experience was the fact that our waiter (who was great!) was wearing a mask with a ventilator which made me and my feel a little uncomfortable because some of these masks only work one way (exhalation valves release unfiltered air when the wearer breathes out). Many places ban wearing these masks for that reason. It's possible the mask the waiter was wearing was one that does protect others, but not knowing made us feel a little uneasy.
Not a reccommended place for vegetarians. The drinks and atmosphere are awesome. The food is a little overpriced. I had the cauliflower dish and was less than impressed.
Unbelievable! I was blown away by everything. The ambiance, everyone that works there, the drinks and the food. It was a great experience!
Went in on my own during a work trip. Sat at the bar and ordered 3 small plates paired with 3 cocktails at the recommendation and conversation with the bartender. Every plate and drink was delicious and gorgeous as well. The seared tuna was a perfect ruby in the center, exquisitely fresh tasting as well. The cocktails had a good balance of strength of spirit, flavor and originality. It was really cool to talk with the person who created most of them. Even though I dont like Fernet, he convinced me to try a cocktail with a splash of it and I must admit the creativity of utilizing the bitter spirit was impressive. The plates came dressed with amazing sauces like a say caramel, and every one of them left completely empty.
By far one of the best restaurants in Tampa Bay area.
I enjoyed an amazing lunch today, the seared tuna plate was absolutely delicious, the variety of flavors, colors and textures on the plate created an artistic and memorable meal. I savored each bite as much or more than the first. The next time I am in the Tanpa Area I will be sure to return with friends! And in the meantime I am left to wonder just how the chef made that mango salad!
The boyfriend loved his Adobo chicken and Waffles. I had the Huevos Rancheros and I asked and emphasized that my eggs be over well 3 times to our server. She kept reassuring me she'd let the chef know. It came out yolk up and runny, not even over medium. This was an annoyance, especially because it was not busy that particular Sunday. I was too hungry and pressed for time to send it back. First and last for me.
We tried a spread of appetizers and entrees. The service was exceptional but the food was disappointing. Sometimes less is more. That is definitely the case for the offerings at Edison.
This place is absolutely great! The waitress was super nice and the cook even better! They made my first experience great! The foi gra was delicious!! They oysters even better! The drinks were perfect!
Absolutely delicious and well executed, incentive food. We tried the Potato oysters, pork belly, Sablefish, sugar cake, there was not a single problem. The service is equally as good. Excellent attentiveness and respect for a wonderful dining experience.
Phenomenal. My girlfriend and I eat out, *a lot,* and to this day we've never had an experience where everything we order simultaneously leaves us incredibly satisfied and scratching our heads wondering what the heck we just ate and how they accomplished it. Creative, challenging dishes matched with bubbly, competent staff make for an incredible night out for anyone willing to get a little bit outside their comfort zone. This ain't a burger joint or sports bar. Come with an open mind and strap in.
Great food just get there early or have reservations
This place definitely lived up to the hype. We visited on a weeknight, with no problems reserving a table at the last minute. The service was attentive and helpful, even when our toddler spilled water all over the floor.
The drinks were all incredible, and one of our friends wanted an extra super spicy drink, which they happily complied with. The appetizers began with cooked blue point oysters (amazing), kobe beef "poutine" with polenta fries (interesting play on the traditional poutine, though can be slightly better seasoned), beef tartare (could also be seasoned slightly better, also fell apart more easily than we are used to), and foie gras (incredible, amongst the best we have had).
As for the main entrees, we had the snapper on risotto prepared with mushroom and black truffle, bouillabaisse, and duck confit. With the exception of the bouillabaisse, everything else was phenomenal. Admittedly it is probably hard to elevate bouillabaisse while keeping it a seafood stew in the traditional sense. Overall one of the best places we've tried in Tampa, would return again when we come back to visit!
I had a grouper with a rissoto and mushroom. It was delicious. Girlfriend had chicken and waffles. Which was also very good. Very nice place but a bit pricey.

Simply incredible food! Was in town for a conference and saw the great reviews of Edison, and was so fortunate to be able to get a table there for dinner. Relatively easy to make a reservation, however it was Tuesday too. The space is modern and spacious enough so it isn't cramped. Service was prompt and consistent over the experience, and the server did a great job on explaining the menu and helping us think through all the choices available. The cocktails were very inventive and tasty, and I wish I had the capacity to try more. But really, the big highlight was the food. Lots of choices, interestingly prepared, with layers of flavors and textures that one doesn't often experience in each dish alone. The charred octopus was absolutely delicious, the grouper was sublime, and the red berry pavlova a mouth-watering explosion of creamy, tangy sweetness. Certainly a highlight of my trip to Tampa, and one I won't soon forget.

By far one of the best bistros in the Tampa Bay area. I wish I could go every weekend and enjoy their food delicatessen. Great service (Jillian is amazing!!!!), food is mind blowingly good and definitely worth every penny. If you like good food, good ambiance and do not mind spending a well invested buck, this is the go to restaurant.

This was my first experience with Edison. My partner and I dined late last night and were happy to have been served by Marysol. Folks, it will serve you well to ask to be seated at one of her tables. She was extremely helpful in navigating us through the complex menu and was very attentive throughout our dinner service. As foodies, we dine out often. For us, Marysol's service was one of the best of the year.
As the menu changes daily, allow me to recommend a few items. We first shared the goat cheese truffles along with the tangy, buffalo cauliflower. We then sampled a steak tartare - which for my partner was good, for me, not so much. We ended our experience with pan seared scallops on a bead of "dirty rice". We'll be back for more.
Awesome food and cocktails! I would recommend going with the small plates to share, mix in a couple of drinks, and then jump to the desserts. (Entrees are not bad, but the small plates are the stars)
Surprisingly excellent food with interesting recipes and presentation. Fresh ingredients, knowledgeable staff and a drink selection you will not find elsewhere. Not all of the drinks were received with delight, they are all distinct and daring which means they are as unique as the customers. Loved it. Great for date.

Love this place. Food and service is fantastic. Haven't been in awhile and have changed my diet a bit was thrilled to see more vegetarian and vegan friendly options. The beet salad, cauliflower dishes were amazing.

1. Food AMAZING. We're from Seattle (land of foodies and plethora of great restaurants) and had high expectations. The steak tartare was simple, but the fried oysters on top with a little heat were delicious. The Pulbo Al Pibil was fantastic. It's easy to overcook octopus, and they had it perfect. I would also highly recommend the grouper on the bed of lentils, pork belly, and honey crisp apple. The flavor combination was elegant and delightful.
2. Service: we booked through open table and noted it was our anniversary so they brought out 2 glasses of champagne. Our waitress and host both checked on us to make sure the food was good and were kind. Sometimes when you go to a fancy restaurant, people are snooty. I felt at ease and at home. Thank you!
3. You're missing out if you don't get at least one cocktail. Their unique and well balanced.

Food was good but management was horrendous. It's a shame that the manager ruined what would have been a great night over $2.00. After paying the $150.00 (no drinks) bill my wife and I noticed we had no cash for the valet and asked the manager if we can give an extra tip on our credit card and receive $2.00 cash tip for the valet. He rudely responded no and said he couldn't help. He said I am free to find an atm but he will not help in any way. I just think that is horrible service and someone like that should rethink his position in the hospitality business.

Our experience surpassed expactations. A mix of Italian and Spanish flavours, with an amazing creativity. The pistachio Gazpacho..with jamon iberico, just AMAZING! Zeppole with prosciutto and tuna tartare with quail egg, 10cum laude!

Simply amazing. All the food we ordered was delicious, from the cocoa dusted coconut shrimp to the red snapper. Drinks are some of the best around - they even knew how to make an Oaxaca Old Fashioned, which is an absolute rarity. A bit pricey - we paid around $150 for two of us - but worth every penny. I'll be back for sure.

Be prepared for an earthy flavor explosion. It's more delightful than it sounds. The food was excellent, with exclusion to the chicken poutine sweet potato fries starter which had a lot of hard gristle knots from the chicken, the flavor was there it just made for a unpleasant start to the meal.
Unlike others experiences, the service was Great! The staff was on top of drinks and clearing tables. Extremely friendly and detailed in the meal.
We would definitely be back for more if we lived here. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great bite to eat.

Cool atmosphere. Looked like a nice little place to try. Sadly they legitimately had 6 things for entrees which were all expensive. They had some cauliflower dish/app that was like $30 .... Small portions and bland food, definitely not somehwere I would reccomend.
