Great day out at the weekend, nice to see the zoo open to the public again. Although only external parts open it was still an enjoyable day. Zookeepers are friendly and good to have a time to chat with them. I see other reviews asking for more information on the boards which I would agree with. See you again soon!

Great day out today, nice to see people back to the zoo. Zookeepers are friendly and good to have a time to chat with them. Actually I have enjoyed zoo with limited number of people in, gives you more time and is quiet even if not everything was open.

A superb little zoo. A nice selection of well cared for animals.... they could add a lot more information on boards for each animal however - so adults could learn as well as kids. Also is a nice botanical garden for sorts...

Had an amazing day out with the wife here. Plenty of animals to see, the giant pandas were great but being lazy bums and were asleep for most of the day the park was well kept and the food wasn't badly priced for being a zoo. The downside to this zoo is all the hills, so be aware if your bringing little ones in pushchairs or relatives in wheelchairs as you will be pushing uphill for a lot of the exhibits. The covid measures put in place ment we couldn't see the zebra but it was a well thought out system and worked for the most part. All in all we had an amazing day out and my wife was happy that she'd finally been able to come to this zoo, although our legs weren't happy the day after

Gift shop was not overpriced and had a wide variety of animal related toys. Would be nice to see more educational toys there too but otherwise brilliant. Would highly recommend getting a pass!

Love the chimpanzee, great to watch. Great for kids, play areas and food cafes, spent most of the day here. Would love to see more animals but some were either hiding or due to Covid some buildings/areas were closed. A little bit pricey for a family of four.

Easy to book. Covid safe. Had own free space to wonder around. Didn't feel pressured to rush. Saw the panda! Loved the penguins!
Staff helpful. Food great.
VERY steep hills! 5 star to the pram pushers!
Overall a most enjoyable day and it was warm!

My husband and I had a lovely visit to The Zoo on Wednesday 12th May our tickets had been booked on line .On arriving we were advised that the transport was not available to take us up to the Panda's etc .as the new vehicle was out of service! Well. There was no way my husband could have made it up to the top.so although we enjoyed what we were able to see we left disappointed ,we plan to revisit in Dec.but we don't want a other disappointment,we are both pensioners and therefore have to budget wisely. What is the guarantee of transport being available! I might add it was stated by a member that they had forgot to charge the new vehicle!
Look forward to hearing from you regards the above.
Yours sincerely Margaret Machray Mrs
