Edinburgh Corn Exchange Review

One of the biggest and most versatile Venue place in the heart of Edinburgh.

Worst venue in Scotland. You would have thought the gig was sprung on them as a surprise. It s been booked for 4 months. 45 + minute wait for a beer. Really put a dampener on a great gig.

Great venue especially for large events. They also have a smaller venue too which is great. Fantastic service from staff and facilities. However is expensive but worth it for what they offer.

Great to see what they've done with place I remember when it was cattle market,now it's right up

Fantastic took at the range of different mediums and the sales people ot artist take the time to talk to you

Good space for conventions and has a large hall with a stage for events.

Very entertaining lots to do and fun for the family. And I have slept on it and coz it is a great family place and always good Vibes. And always entertaining with a good atmosphere and plus my daughter loves it so 10/10 Highly recommended

I don't know if it's always this way but we got there about 20 minutes after the site opened and the queue was enormous. Literally queued around the building and beyond.

The venue itself is incredible. The sound is fantastic, easily the best I've experienced (I'm comparing it to the Hydro and The Picture house).
The only issue we had was that it was so packed that it was a struggle to get a good vantage point.

It's also REALLY warm in there. If you get there early and are in the middle of all the bodies, you may well overheat so be warned (people were being taken out by security having passed out)

Another fabulous Christmas party night! It's the best by Far!

Great place to have a footy game. A little old but you know what they say, old but gold.

Large pub, bright, lots of chesterfield sofas low cost beer. Great songs playing on the juke box during our visit. Bit of a music venue.

I visited the evencenter because of the sci fi con. Sadly, the only toilets in the building were an absolut disaster. They didn't flush and had no toilet paper what so ever. It pretty much ruined the con for me.

Space for meetings and exhibitions. It's a little out of hand but the taxis work that is fun. It has a very interesting cafeteria.

It's a pretty good gig venue - prices can be a bit expensive for drinks though

Football pitches are starting to fall in to disrepair.

Was there for the 2019 Edinburgh Yarn Festival - nice facility, check out the east restroom: interesting design!

Snooker and pool facilities aren't the best but it lots of other things as well so probably not for the purist player out there. Has a decent bar and staff generally friendly.

A wide variety of events earn this venue a high rating. Would be 5* but it is let down on amenities. To be expected, I suppose, in such an agglomeration of old buildings.

I have played 5 a side a lot here and have been to a wedding fair. Good set up

Corn Exchange was an excellent venue for The Paul Hanlon Testimonial. Staff were helpful and assisted in making your experience a good one.

Came for Hot Dub Time Machine. Was a really great night. Bit of a wait to get the first round of drinks in but it eventually got easier.

Play indoor football at World of Soccer. Good pitches but expensive

I am corn farmer, I own at least 40% of corn fields in Scotland and another 18% of fields in the united states. When I heard about the corn exchange I was delighted. I had let the other corn tycoons know about it and we had our first annual corn exchange on the premises on June 11th. National Corn Day. It was a supreme success. The staff were lovely and helped a lot with the event, the venue was spotless and over all, I had a great time.

Not once in my life have I ever exchanged so much corn, if not for this venue I would have gone bankrupt last year. Once again many thanks to the venue and staff. Lovely people. Five Stars, would recommend for corn exchanging activities.

car engines running in car park polluting while you play 5s breathing heavily. bad combo.

Bowling Alley was ok, but not a great selection of balls. A bit tired, and too hot and noisy if anything

Very cheap bowling compared to competitors. But the mechanics often seem to let it down, with balls getting stuck, the computer not working, and disinterested staff. Can be great for a cheap game, when everything works, but otherwise not so great.

The worst venue for big events Always hot and stuffy. Diabolical ventilation

Great venue! Quite a lot of room, excellent sound. Bar and limited food available as well

Corn exchange is like mayo chicken from McDonald cheap and tasty.

Just as good as anywhere else for bowling really, but better value for money. Only thing to let it down was being a little short staffed and having to wait to be served.

Not fully wheelchair accessible. Had to go outside in the rain and enter by a side door to enter the Baron suite.

Great price for 10 pin bowling in the afternoon,ok for snacks and a pint
