Edinburgh Corn Exchange Review

Corn exchange itself was fine but it's integrated pub was bloody awful...only food was pizza served in a box which we had to cancel after waiting 25 minutes for it...loud music....slot machines....TV on.....hardly a relaxing environment for folk out to enjoy a show at the exchange....saw so many people coming in and turning back out again....but there's no other choice in the area so you're pretty much stuck.....

I didnt have any corn to exchange but if you do, this is the place to do it!

Worked at an event nice staff and toilets kept clean

We held our wedding vow renewal here. Had the most amazing night ever helped by the very very attentive staff. Service was unbeatable. Highly recommend for any event.

Great place for exhibiting. We were working there for a wedding show. Great atmosphere, helpful staff. Got a bit on the warm side where we were, but I guess there was a lot of people there.

It was ok. Bowling was cheaper there than other places in Edinburgh but it was not that good. The floor was not that smooth but we had a good time as we got plenty of time to play there. It was crowded.

Good mixed purpose venues - have been for trade shows, private birthdays, and gigs.

Was a lovely venue for our ball, drinks were reasonably priced (cheaper that I thought it would be) and the food was amazing and very hight quality for serving over 600 people

Bigger or quicker serving bars are required, which are also better managed to prevent queue jumping. The queues were ridiculous...

Visiting the Scottish tattoo convention to get tattooed. Plenty of parking, whether on the street or in the car park to the rear. Very easy to get to using public transport as certain Lothian buses go right past the entrance

Great venue for events, staff very accomodating and helpful

Visited for an awards evening. Tables were very cramped. Food was pleasant enough. Staff were good.

Great little bowling alley, perfect Sunday afternoon activity with the kids if it's raining!

Good venue for an afternoon of snooker followed by a drink or two afterwards .

Great size of venue, perfect in this socially distanced world.

It was fine for myself and a friend, but I feel that they would use the space better if made a tad smaller and use the larger space for bands or theatre companies, we enjoyed our evening although we only had a few drinks, but we thought that was the perfect place for a night out with a good few friends and family, friendly staff and a good mix of local drinkers and others who had just drifted in

The best Christmas night out ever, live music, live entertainment and a great time with the colleagues.
The also hold multiple event such as cheese festival and wedding fairs really good and organise place.

Good place for 10 pin bowling parties. Comparably cheaper too.

Great venue for all sorts of functions including a fantastic New Year Party and Art Fair. Bert's Cafe nearby is a great stop for coffee too.

Went bowling, great fun for the kids. 6pm Saturday and empty. Much betterbtham Fountainbridge! Good food, great service!

We had a great day bowling. Had a slight incident that the manager got involved in and sorted out.

I was there for capital scifi con, it was AMAZING!!!

Great day at the Sci fi Con. Have visited here a number of times for concerts, exhibitions and a wedding reception. Staff are approachable and friendly and the venue is a great size.

Decent venue if attending hosted events but the day to day bowling and football area are a little run down.

Very good exhibition place and although weird a very nice building to work in. Not as large as some of the other exhibition buildings but very good still. Client was happy that's all that counts in my books.

Wendt on the Edinburgh yarn festival located at the corn exchange. Good venue for lots of people and easy to find using local transportation.

Not the biggest place to hold concerts but it's still good atmosphere

If you like generic gentrification, boy this place is for you. Cafes, craft beers and sandwiches that cost more than an hours minium wage.

Good venue, lots of places to get food, plenty of toilets, very limited parking. Public transport links are good, however.

I visit Scottish tattoo convention with family and it was great event. Shame that there was almost no food options, no cash machine on promises almost no space on front of scene

Coffee festival was very good, but disappointed with food outlet

Corn exchange is a great versatile venue, formal occasions, conference, music etc it is also base for world of bowling and football and has a sports bar exelant for famaly friends etc it also has a local bar.

Nice place. Good for family and also couple seeking nice getaway spot.

I went to a gig there and I really disliked that the venue has a curfew of 23:00 which made the band to cut short a couple of songs from the set list. The band was The Gaslight Anthem.

Reminds me of the Barrowlands in Glasgow, absolutely great venue, great sound, enough space even though it was busy

cracking venue and very helpful staff. I ran to the conference being held in th Exchange from my hotel and they kindly opened the changing rooms so that I could get showered and changed before the conference started.

Lots to do even during restrictions but make sure to book in advance

visited here with our grandchildren, loads of hands on child friendly activities, very nice staff, lovely cafe, push chair friendly. Great day out.
