In 2005 my friends and I were hit head on by a drunk driver. I was severely injured and my passenger, one of best friends, was killed at only 29 years old. I was left with 14 broken bones from sternum to ankle and 3 internal injuries. While still in ICU, my mother called Edgar Snyder. The next day there was an attorney at my bedside getting my case started. It was so nice to know that I had an experienced attorney on my side at such an early stage. It was also a huge weight off of my shoulders to know that I wouldn't have to worry about paying anything upfront. It's hard to come up with a retainer for an attorney when you can't even take care of yourself.
There were 3 insurance companies involved in my case and it would have been nearly impossible for me to deal with them on my own. We were able to settle out of court and I have to say that that saved me so much emotional distress. I am greatful!

This is a law firm that only takes cases that are cut and dried. The only thing they fight for is their percentage of your settlement. If they don t have a source like workers compensation or an insurance company to sue directly they are not going to help you. These are just rich lawyers getting richer off of class action lawsuits and workers compensation which comes from the government. The cases they take can be won by anyone. And they take 40% of your money for doing it. But that s the American way!!!!!

Edgar Snyder & Associates was a wonderful firm to work with. I was told by a judge not to come back to court without a lawyer, and Edgar Snyder & Associates was the first firm to come to mind - mainly because of their reputation, but also their positive community philanthropy. So - I filled out the screening questions on my phone (it was very late), and was immediately contacted in the morning for further discussion. The entire process was simple and fairly quick.
Attorney John Belak was assigned to my case, and he was incredible. My life was pretty much in turmoil at the time, and he was patient, compassionate, and understanding when I was sidelined/distracted by another issue that I was forced to resolve (which happened multiple times). Called after being hit on the head from a garage door! After a brief duscussion on the phone with a receptionist, I was told that they, Edgar Snyder and Associates, did not handle cases like mine!? However, they did refer me to someone else after I accused them of false advertisement!

When my company's doctor wanted to send me back to work and tried to cut my benefits one call and Snyder was there. As an EMT who was hurt in the line of duty. I documented all my treatment. Surely I should not have a problem but I did and Snyder was there to keep my workmen compensation benefits and settled my claim in full. Then when social security fought me to get the benefits I paid into every paycheck weather I liked it or not Snyder was a no brainier to help me fight. They got me my benefits and finally 7 years after the accident I am able to go back to school part time and have hopes of someday working again. Without Edgar Snyder and the reputation of his Associates fighting to get benefits I PAID INTO there is no telling how bad things might have become.
