They frequently forget to pick up the trash. Then I have to call multiple days in a row to ask them to do their job. The trash will sit at the curb for days because they just won t pick it up. Very frustrating. I m switching to a different company. I don t know how they re still in business. Please do not use this company if you have a choice!

The company forgets to pick up trash, customer service is awful, unreliable, website for pickup is unreliable, expect you to contact them when they forget to pick it up (which is often), refuse to provide any sort of solution when they make a mistake

It's too bad I can't leave a lower rating than 1 star because this company doesn't even deserve 1. They are very nice on the phone and the price is low but I haven't had any pickup for 4 weeks. My account is paid for the next 2 quarters so they have NO EXCUSE. I guess I'll just eat the expense and hire someone who will pick up every week

I have used this company for ten years and occasionally they missed picking up my trash but would usually come by and get it after a phone call. Recently, they missed picking up the trash but after three days of phone calls with promises to come and get it, they did not. I m tired of this. This is no way to treat your customers. Good riddance.

If there's a holiday during a week, I can pretty much guarantee my trash won't be picked up anymore. Even with the company publishing a holiday schedule and moving our pickup day this year to accommodate more customers.

I agree with recent reviews. Used them for years without issue. But last year has been very poor service. Yes, the woman representative Allison is nice, but can never resolve anything. Zero stars is what my rating should be, because I've received zero trash pickups for 6 weeks, including all of June. My trash stewed in the sun, smelled awful, and infested by maggots. I paid my bill and got zero service. And Allison would NOT refund my payment, despite my multiple complaints! Done with this horrific company!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! If that didn't make you reconsider, then read on. I had ESRR for almost 10 years. This year, it became the worst company I've ever dealt with. They missed two pick up dates and I called to rectify. They came the next week and then missed the next two weeks. I called again. They came the next week and then missed the next week. After three calls and seven missed weeks, I canceled my service on July 22. I had paid through the end of the year so I should have been refunded for August-December (5 months - $70). They absolutely refused to refund me for all of the missed pick up dates. It's now September 13 and still no refund in sight. I have called approximately 10 times and spoken to Allison, Erika, Kelly and now a new person today. None of them can approve a refund and you are NOT allowed to talk to their supervisor - i.e., the person who needs to approve the refund in the first place. They have promised to call back every time and I have yet to ever get a call back. Supposedly, there has been some amazing level of turnover and the whole company has gone down the drain. Once again, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Not recommended!! I used their services for 10 years, until they cancelled my service. They cashed my check a day late and claimed it was MY fault! Myra (I think) was extremely rude and did not even try to work with me. I have switched services. Good riddance!

I had their service a few years ago and they never missed a pick up. However, I did have problems with the billing department, so I ended up cancelling the service with them.
The company I was using recently was sold to another company (unreliable) and I also need the service on a specific day, so I called Ecology to reactivate service with them to find out I was on the do not service list because of payment (I had same issue as most people here, I called to pay my upfront for that year, (I believe it was 2016) to find out I had to pay the 2015 because my previous payment supposedly never went thru and they never notified me either.) I paid both years and cancelled right then to be done with them.

However, I am writing this review because THEY ARE UNDER NEW ADMINISTRATION. Thus, when I was informed of the blockage on my address I requested to speak with the manager who was very understanding. I explained to her what had happened with my billing years ago, so she listened and lifted the blockage on my address/name.
Therefore, I advise you to give them a chance now because these new people seem committed to gain their reputation back and the trust from old customers by providing a good customer service.
(I spoke with someone named Janine, but I don t know if she is the receptionist or the manager, either way they both were excellent.)
