Delicious well-presented food, amazing staff. Such a great place, love it! :)

Perfect spot for a bottomless brunch. Incredible food. Really good idea being able to choose between 1 big meal or 2 small meals for some variety. I like that each table has a dedicated server that gets to know everyone and keeps the drinks flowing. Would go back.

Had a very lovely time here in this place tucked away in the corner!! Came by for a drink with a friend during happy hour and it was not too busy which was quite nice. The ambience is great and the set up looks very clean but homely. We just ordered drinks and a small share plate. The bao buns were pretty tasty - not out of this world, but good :) The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. This could be my new place to go for a catch up, would highly recommend!

I went there to have breakfast and when I arrived at 1.20 pm the staff told me that the breakfast menu was no longer available. However, their menu says it is available until 2.30 pm!

Staffs are humourous and friendly. Drinks are good too.

Best and friendliest staff and place in the area. Been a regular since it opened up, I recommend this place to everyone. I drive from St Heliers to Ponsonby just to have a decent meal and a proper coffee with my family. I can see that some of the reviews are very negative and fake. Ignore them and go enjoy some proper food and time and you ll get the most respect from the staff there.

Absolutely LOVE this cafe, they are my go to local, perfect coffee and food every. single. time. Nothing is ever a task for the staff here, always a pleasure grabbing my morning coffee!

Love this place! We regularly have dinners here with our large group of friends and the tapas style shared plates are perfect for big groups. Cosy outdoor areas and awesome cocktails too.

I once dined here and the owner became very aggressive. I've since found out he once beat someone with a tyre iron over a minor traffic incident. Scary stuff, stay away!

Booked a few tables for the bottomless brunch for my partners birthday. Great little venue and the service was good too!

There are a ton of amazing things about EDL but the one worth coming online to tell you all about is the Kumara Fries.
Crispy, and yet the right amount of soft inside. Seasoned to perfection. You will never get Kumara fries this good anywhere else. Seconded, Thirded and Fourthed etc etc by every single person who had one. I went to heaven today.

The food was fantastic, decent size portions at a decent price. Had no complaints about the food at all. The food was only second to the service, very attentive staff that serve with a smile. Food came out very quick despite how busy it was. Plenty of parking around as well.

Following the pandemic we were stranded for four months in the Auckland region. Edi, Frances and their team have made us happy all this time. Once again: Thank you Edi, Thank you Frances for making us happy! We kiss you.

Went for bottomless brunch for my birthday yesterday and had the best time, thank you so much! We were 25 people so quite a handful but all the staff were really lovely and patient. The food was way better than other bottomless brunch places too - we'll be back :)
