Eastside Orthotics & Prosthetics Review

Steer clear of this provider. They are driven by profit motives, not helping clients. I now own a $12K paper weight. I've gone back multiple times for adjustments and corrections and I still can't wear the leg without suffering major pain not to mention it's the ugliest prosthetic I've ever owned. I was sold a list of goods under the premise that I would at some point be able to run. Such a line of bull. I am now trying to recoup some of my costs by selling components (foot and liners) on eBay. Shop around, there are other, better practitioners in Portland.

The irony of a place that basically only serves disabled clients making you STAND outside to wait. Put out a chair you dingdongs.

I have been going to this place for 30 yrs now. I have ALWAYS been treated fantastic by all the staff there. They go out of their way to spoil you and make sure that when you leave you're happy. I am an above the knee, so at times it is hard to fit a leg to me. They always take their time, until I leave satisfied. I don't know what the other review that was unhappy with things, and gave a negative review with one star. But maybe its him, not them. You get what you give. Now, Ben the new owner has really stepped up to the plate since taking over. Ben has some of the old staff, and some new. ALL do a great job. They have just built me a new leg from scratch, and it is the best leg I have ever had. So, if you want some personal one-on-one service from a great business, go see these guys. Thank you all at Eastside for what you do!!

Great people!!!! Two employees are amputees themselves. So, they live their work . All of the staff will do anything they can to accomodate and help you through this situation.
You can park in front of the door. If you arrive in a wheelchair and need assistance they are right there at your car door to help! They offer you something to drink and take care of you as though you are family. There is a vast supply of magazines to enjoy while adjustments are made to you prosthetic or orthotics.

Many things are made or modified on site, by the same person who fits you. This cuts down on time and frustration and decreases the margin of error.

I highly recommend trying this company!

I typically visit the Eugene location, but with COVID, things change. Every time I've needed anything, this crew has jumped in to confirm what i need and get it ordered ASAP. I usually have an estimate for new orders within hours and a followup if it isn't delivered when expected. When you life depends on reliability, this is absolutely priceless and I couldn't be more grateful to have Ben and his team on my side.

I have walked on braces and crutches for most of my life, and have been a customer of Eastside Orthotics, now Sure Limb, since I moved to Portland. I have always received truly exceptional service here, from before this company changed hands a few years ago until now. The staff here is friendly, attentive, and seems to be genuinely determined to solve problems of whatever kind to the customer's complete satisfaction. I cannot praise them enough!
