These guys basically have a monopoly on the internet on the entire town of Easton and it's a shame because it's actually garbage. Cuts out all the time and can't even supply an entire house with the actual download speeds you pay for. I WISH that there was another option, their server room must consist of 5 hamsters running on hamster wheels to power the whole town. Awful.

It has come to my attention that for some reason Easton Utilities is making it next to impossible for the residents of Easton, MD to convert their residential homes to solar power, giving them only one option; to BUY a system outright, in which most cost $30,000+ When there are dozen other Energy Providers with lease or even NO COST options for people. How is this progress, I only see this as greed... This is a great disappointment
Bottom Line if you want solar you can get it for for NO COST, just NOT in Easton, MD because you pay a company to tell you how you can get your electric.

Easton Velocity is great and I loved how I was able to pickup my own modem and install it myself. Using just the basic (free) modem from them and haven't had a single service issue. Hooked up my own router and mesh WiFi access points so my entire house gets the full advertised speed. If you are having internet issues it's because the modem/router/WiFi all in one devices from all ISPs are junk. A single WiFi access point can't cover an entire house without loosing signal quality at the far edges. If you want to stream 4k video to your TV but your modem is on the other side of the house you will need to invest in some of your own networking gear. Just wish I could get the 950/950 speeds I had previously had with FiOS for $79 a month.

Worst internet service I have ever had to deal with. Absolute garbage. Cuts out every night, inconsistent all the time. They have been out several times to fix it but every single time there is a new problem. I d be better off plugging my ethernet cord into a carrot half the time.

Same day service with super stick-to-it-iveness. Few places can you get instant customer service acknowledgements as well as follow throughs. Called at 7:30 PM. Tech was out by 8 PM. Fixed and out the door by 9 PM.

Dont bother getting their internet unless you want constant packet loss

The service is ASTOUNDING. Before moving to Easton, I couldn't have believed a utility company could be so responsive.

Extremely bad internet on a Saturday night do not get these guys
