Draft beer was very good, but the food was outstanding! Ordered several small plates for our group, sampled several brews, and had and dinner as well. Every dish was excellent. Very cool nautical decor inside the dining room, and the view of the river at night was incredible.

The bartender, Jeremy, was particularly prissy and rude. When asked about specials we were given a snobby response about only being open 3 months even though we were from out of town. Beers were overpriced and nothing special ($6.50) a beer. We left after receiving poor service at the bar so we didn't even get to the food. Unsure if it will make it another 3 months.

I enjoyed the beer and the view. But not much else. The pizza was adequate and we returned our chips as they were stale. Service was poor. I was already irritated with the absence of our server when I decided to start timing and it was 14 minutes. She seemed to be working bar and serving. I think it was probably management's issue. I can find good beer and a view all around town. Bye

What a wonderful place. Excellent atmosphere, great food, and fantastic beer. I love the way the menu is listed as small, mid sized, and large. Perfect for choosing the right sized meal to meet my level of hunger.

I went here because I heard it was ranked as one of the best breweries in the nation. I had high expectations and was disappointed. Beer was good but not great. Food was very average. I've been to a lot of places much better than this (Fat Heads, Beerheads, Hoppin Frog). I wish I would have saved my money on this joint. But have to say service was great!

I'd like to begin by saying our service was great here! The interior of this place is great and they've done a great job if not overdoing the decor. A pretty diverse menu with plenty of options to choose from. We started off with the chips and dip, which was a generous helping that 3 of us shared. I ended up with the stuffed Asian chicken thigh, my fiance had the pulled pork, and our friend had a pizza.

The pizza was a bit underwhelming to say the least. However, the chicken thigh and pulled pork were great! Overall a good experience. I do think there are places with a more affordable menu, but we will be back again.

Fantastic and diverse menu along with good quality brews are just the starting point here. Staff is friendly and attentive, the space is well designed and not nearly as noisy as many current restaurants. Finally, the space and its atrium and riverside patio provides numerous views and ways to enjoy the nearby river.

Great food, nice patio on the river, terrible service. The waiter was very uninterested in us. We ordered 2 salads he brought one, said oh I thought you were sharing. Then it took 20 minutes to get the second salad.

Can't say enough about the service we received! We were there celebrating my wife's birthday and they made her feel like the rock star that she is with a drink and a brownie for dessert. We will definitely be back.

The view is great as well!

Was expecting more based on all the ratings. It was super busy there and the service wasn t the greatest. The food was a tad overpriced for what you got.

I did love their Dunkelweizen and would go back for just that!

Food was amazing. The 2 beers I tried were both amazing. I loved sitting on the river. The only thing that keeps me from giving this 5 stars, is the fact that our waitress was terrible. Watched the servers around us running circles around our girl... ours was very slow. we will be back, just pray that we dont get the same girl lol

When I visited the Cleveland, Ohio area in support of my Great Beer Now blog, I had limited time to visit as many breweries as possible. I did manage to visit the big name craft breweries in the area and I knew I had time for more, but how to decide? I looked over the choices and narrowed down based on unique offerings. This led me to Collision Bend Brewing, located in the area known as Cleveland Flats.

What sets this brewpub apart from others is the views that it offers. It is situated right on the shores of the Cuyohoga River and there is an outdoor patio with open views of the river. This adds greatly to the appeal, since waterfront views always seem to make any occasion better.

Since Collision Bend is a brewpub, guests can expect to find excellent menu options as well as fine brew. The establishment specializes in California street food, with sandwiches, pizza, salads, and small plate items along with desserts. I liked what I tasted and sampled and I loved the beer even more. The Lake Erie Sunset Pale Wheat Ale is very popular with locals and one taste will make you understand why. There are other delicious beers, too, like Blu Lu Double IPA, easily a standout for me.

Collision Bend Brewing has an atmosphere that straddles the line between a nice place of dining and a casual eatery. The brick exterior gives the establishment an industrial feel while the inside has several contemporary features. The food and beer are both noteworthy and the waterfront views make this brewery stand out in the crowd. It s a cool place for food, brew, and water views and a place you need to visit when in the Cleveland, Ohio area.

Loved the bar along the river. Beers were really good the popcorn was fantastic. Bartenders were funny and just the right amount of talkative. Only downside was the concrete bar top was really hot from the sun so it heats up your beer.

Tried to have a beer on the patio. No one at tables but we couldn't sit there without going back into the restaurant to get seated. Limited casual area. Rude staff. Thrust dog way nicer. On water. Great staff good beer. A true brewery experience. This place should be only a restaurant

Food and service were good, but I got a couple things to add.

We were hosted by a really nice woman. Taken on the outside patio but immediately realised there were too many bugs to eat out there. We eventually ate inside, I ordered a drink and when it came found a bug in my drink.

I know this isn't the server's fault but there's a big insect problem at this restraunt. I get it's right by the lakeside but c'mon. Isn't there any way to line the balcony or perimeter with some sort of insectiside? I've heard some plants work too.

Again. Great food, great people. Just bugs. Had a great time otherwise.

Thanks Maisia.

Had a fantastic night with a group of 14 friends. Lawrence and Autumn were our servers and they were outstanding! Service was quick and professional yet very personable. The food was overall excellent, the crab cakes were...words fail. We had one guest that didn't like the flavor profile of her dish, but they took that off the bill and gave her another option she loved.
Looks of the place was wonderful, truly an outstanding meal, even though challenged by our large group. Great!

I would stop here for a drink before a game or concert because the view is nice and you are right on the river. As for an actual dinner spot, I'd head somewhere else. We both liked our beers and cocktails. The food was tasty but expensive for what you actually get. We got Welsh Warebit, Oven Roasted Mixed Olives, and a Bianco pizza. Overall, the food just didn't wow me. With a bill over $70, I'd expect to be impressed.

Beer is just average. My friends and I all ordered flights and some of the beers were pretty good but the stout tasted like water. It was the least flavorful stout I have ever tried. My friend ordered the margherita pizza for the table to snack on. I don't know who created their menu, but everyone knows what a margherita pizza should be. What we got was super bready and not an actual margherita pizza. Couple that with the $14 price tag for a pizza about 8" across and it's worth skipping.

We came here for a night cap and posted up at the bar. Naturally we ordered a couple of beers and really enjoyed the variety their offered. We also had a sweet tooth so we ended up ordering the Bananas Fosters Cake...which was freakin delicious!! The atmosphere was fantastic so it really made for a fun way to end the night!

Horrendous service.

Horrendous service.

I will note they did accommodate for a larger group then expected- reserved for 10 and 16 ended up showing up- very appreciative of that especially with covid and restrictions but after that it went completely down hill.

1. When moving tables we were all made to close tabs out because we would have a new server at the larger table- so we did.....and ended up having the same server? Many people had soft drinks which involve free refills, after expressing to the manager how ridiculous it was to have to repay for the same drink twice she assured us it wouldnt be on the tab....the waitress still tried to charge them for the same drinks twice.

3 We had no silverware no napkins for 80 percent of the time we wer the seated and only when the kitchen brought the food out could we get someone to bring us silverware
4.Waitress never asked us how we wanted to split the check up, which I know there was a larger group before us who had the exact same situation and complained, wouldn t you learn from that? When I asked her to please split everyone separately she said only if you stay seated and if move it s all going on one check Excuse me??? We are not children and do not need to be reprimanded by a snarky waitress and also there was only ONE person out of their seat with a mask on who hadn t even ordered yet. The waitress never introduced herself, seemed annoyed from the get about serving us, and clearly took that out on our service.
4.There was a 20 percent gratuity added to the bill with no notice- nowhere on the menu is it stated over a certain party gratuity is added. The manager stated this occurred when we made the reservation which was FALSE and I showed her by creating a new reservation online. Normally I tip 25% on good service, normal service I wouldn t of cared. But the service here did not deserve 20 percent- it deserved 10-15. It was discovered gratuity was added on the drinks from the previous bill before moving tables and we were never told and a additional tip was added unknowingly. The whole process seems sneaky.the manager did take the gratuity off once we expressed the service did not render 20 percent
5. Lastly the manager was very sweet and understanding but all she offered us was free shots? A table of 16 who was this unhappy about their service? No discount on the meal was offered and only told we would be taken care of next time we come. This was unfortunate the restaurant seems like a cool atmosphere but I will say this was probably the worst service I ve ever had anywhere. We all come from a large family- 16 isn t unheard of for us, unfortunately you have lost our service from all of us.

I've been there twice now and had a really good experience, and really bad experience. The good experience was the Bartenders were really helpful with the Beer Selection, and I even ran into one of the Bartenders, while he was off the clock, and he stopped me and said hi...and sorry Dude, I have rules about drinking with bartenders, and for him to do that was very kind, and left a great impression. Now the bad. I had a great experience the first time, so I went back to try the food, and I had to deal with a Bartender saying she can't wait to throw you out, so she can go be with her Boyfriend; she try to take my dish three times before I was done. The did an out-standing job on the interior (very neat, and ties into the nautical thing, which made sense as you are sipping a beer and watching a 300' barge drive by), they have a very nice patio....and I felt a little funny when I said it, but the Tasting Room is very cute. The Owner/Part Owner, I forget, was a Brew Master with the Conway Brothers over at Great Lakes Brewing Company, so the guy knows how to brew a beer obviously. Plus, you are supporting a Local Guy....it has a Mike Symon feel to it, which I like.

Went for dinner on a Saturday night. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. When it arrived it was severely over cooked, and I sent it back. (The bar tender with red hair was helpful) They remade the sandwich thankfully and the chicken was not over done, and was clearly a thicker cut. At 16 dollars I expected a chicken breast, but they seem to use cheap boneless thighs. And overall an unimpressive offering. When my check arrived they had run my card and charged me for two chicken sandwiches. After asking for this to be taken off I was given a look. And the waitress went and conferred with another as if I was lying. Finaly it was taken care of and a most uncomfortable experiance concluded.

Food and beer are OK but a bit overpriced. My wife went out to have a cigarette and it was announced the bar was closing and she tried to go back in to pay her tab and the guy working the door would not allow her and her friends to go back into pay. Definitely not worth the hassle.

Walked in on a busy Friday with great weather hoping to be sat on the patio with our dog. We lucked out and got the last table outside with no wait! (The bar outside is full service and first come first serve had we not gotten a table) Inside the decor is slightly overwhelming at first but fits the location superbly. Outside, along the east bank we had a wonderful view.

Beer is alright. Food is better; I got the pizza cooked to crispy perfection, my friend got chicken thighs. Prices are what I was hoping for a casual dinner out. Our server was sub-par based on what I've read about service here. That in combination with the plethora of gnats that came when our salads were served (wish our server would've warned us) knocks it down one star for me. Had our server had SOME personality or opinions I would gladly give back the star.

Service was good, venue is excellent. The beer is mediocre and the food is terrible and expensive. The menu looks like the chef is more interested in his food sounding weird than tasting good. Stock standard selection of beer and serve standard bar food and this place goes up to 4/5.

I would give zero stars if I could. If you have any kind of food allergy this is not the place to go. No gluten free menu. I had a legit plain burger patty. I told the waitress I couldn t eat the sides and wasn t offered anything else. I was charged $14 for a burger patty. It wasn t dressed or anything. Just awful.
