Received a really warm welcome to a stunning course that was well presented.
I must visit again, when the wind is a bit lighter!!

Lovely venue. Excellent food, decent beers and good quality wines by the glass. Recommended.
After all the snow we played today 04/03/18 & the course was in great condition. Thankfully the halfway hut was open. This is a great course all year round well worth playing
Christmas meal here was good despite the amount of people that had to be catered for, the entertainer was of a high standard - an excellent singer and the venue itself was comfortable.
Beautiful golf course and Adrian the golf pro is brilliant
Poor greens hostile members, shouting across the course for practicing a poor chip , loverly views nice layout , prime real estate , poor embassadors make developers happy , be warned .
Great club by the coast, brill 19th and really friendly staff and members. Course is beautiful :)
Beautiful views, interesting holes, lovely smooth greens. Wind from the north so the last few holes were a dream. Got held up a few times but course seemed busy for a Monday.
Awesome golf club, pleasant bar, food and drink good too
Lovely course; great views; well stocked pro shop and friendly bar. Unfortunately, at the time of writing the fairways are in terrible condition due to an infestation of leather backs all over. Hopefully, the current treatment will work, as it is ugly at present.
Regular visitor to this lovely & challenging course down land course near the marina.
Great scenery many good holes. Drains well in winter. Reasonable green fee rate. All round value day out.
There's no hiding place on this course! Superb Downs course that services your need to replenish both food and drink in the 19th hole
Great views overlooking the sea, hilly course in good condition. Not too many snooty tankers which is rare for golf.
Well kept course. Fast greens. Playable all year round. Friendly club house, plus added bonus of halfway house.
Wind proved a problem but course was very good. Staff are helpful.
Loved it.
This was my first time playing golf on this course and I'd herd good things so was slightly nervous, but I needn't of been. The staff were super friendly and chill and removed any of that golf snobery which I'm sure we've all experienced and instantly gave me a confidence boost which is always good.
The fairways, rough and greens were so well maintained. The next hole was always obvious without being intrusive.
A challenging course but beautiful and omg was so much fun to play. The amount of par 5s and 3s really allows you to mix up your game and get away from the usual constant stream of par 4s you get on most courses.
Great course with superb views, friendly and helpful staff, great food but the clubhouse could use a make over.
I was a member at this course during university.
Great course, great staff (used to be Adrian and Ben in the Pro Shop).
On a bright sunny day this course is fairly straightforward but on most days there is a significant amount of wind which adds significant challenge. I managed to play all year round even after it had snowed in Brighton!
Buggies are allowed depending on the weather.
Good food. Nice people. Course a challenge especially in the wind. Varied holes. Worth a visit for sure. Tony Perrin.
Great links course. I was here for a wedding reception recently where we hired out the Oak Room. The staff were great and the new caterers put on the best wedding meal I've ever had by a mile! I'd definitely suggest hiring this place out for wedding receptions.
Another brilliant evening at the golf club lovely people wonderful bar staff altogether s lovely place to be.
I was a member here for 2 years whilst at uni and still find myself coming back here whenever my friends are in town. Beautiful golf course with stunning views. The course poses a real challenge and plays more like a links when the wind is blowing. I advise taking a buggy or trolley as it is very hilly but well worth it!
Had a smashing round. Greens in excellent condition. Staff very helpful. Great views. Got abit windy later in the morning. And a couple of steep hills to walk up. Will be going back as soon as I can.
Attended Wake today. Food distribution chaotic. Sandwiches not popular with mourners at my table. Not a good experience.
Nice venue, a little old fashioned but a nice place for a party
Really great course with some stunning holes, nice clubhouse and halfway hut.
Great golf course open most of the year welcoming staff, pro shop and bar. Slightly bias as I'm a member.
Course in excellent condition and we'll presented, a tough test of golf in windy conditions
Booked a golfing weekend in July for two 4 balls. When we arrived at course for the round in September, staff tell us they have removed our booking without informing us and have put single and two balls in our original spot. The Best they were able to do was move our slot back 40mins. No one looked out for us and asked whether we would like a complimentary drink or a slight discount off the price of the round. After managing to get on the course, we were then followed immediately by another couple of 1 ball players, who we then had to let through, which I'm sure they would have pushed back because of our slot. The whole round took just over 5 and a half hours ! Course played well and some fantastic views however very disappointed by the admin :(
Never been there nor nearer than several hundred yards from it??? Why has Google asked the question?
I don't actually play golf, but I've walked through here a lot. The greens are clearly marked and there are many signs with direction of play and ball warning arrows. The place does a great job of keeping itself accessible to everyone, which is nice because there's also a good forest and nature reserve inside it
Great fun with #forebiz in #Brighton will be back after my 10 points front 9 but 20 points back 9, crazy #golf
Thank you to everyone at East Brighton Golf Club for a great day on Monday. Three of us came down from Bramley Golf Club (myself, club professional Nick English and Richard West (ex committee member) to try out the course after setting up a reciprocal agreement whereby Bramley and East Brighton members can play each other's courses. We were held up in traffic on the way, so in order to get lunch and then fit in the whole 18 holes, we wanted to order a speedy lunch. The catering staff managed to deliver us three lunches within 5 minutes, so a huge thank you for being so accommodating.
The course itself had view after view of the sea, Brighton and the marina. Quite spectacular. My two favourite holes were the 8th and 9th as I recall it. Having played in Spain earlier in the year, these two holes in particular reminded me of playing on the Costa Del Sol. I'd then recommend to anyone having a bite to eat and a drink at the half way house and looking back down the fairway to the sea.
Thanks again for a great day out.
We life near there and we like spend time there. The staff is very professional and they are really kind
Great course exalant greens Halfway house bacon sarnies simply the best
Nice golf course and nice to play without getting mud on your clothes
