Service and product were great. They provided great communication throughout. Plus, even after the job was finished, they came out for any issues that arose. Would definitely recommend.

Final update: The crew finished up my retaining wall yesterday. Mark (the crew lead) was thorough, polite, and always willing to answer questions or provide info. They cleaned up every day, worked most daylight hours, and at least 2 other people from Earthadelic came by and checked on progress regularly. The job turned out better than I had hoped for, and at this point I have nothing but praise for these guys. Will definitely use them again. Cost-wise, I was warned by Paul early on that Earthadelic wouldn't be the low bidder, which was true, but they were far from the high bidder. I just couldn't be happier. The issue I initially had here seems pretty small and distant at this point.

Amended review: Earthadelic quickly reached out to me after my initial review by email and phone. They completed my estimate in about 2 days (including a Sunday), and have been genuinely interested in making sure they properly attend to my request and make up for missing me the first time. We all make mistakes, what happens after makes all the difference.

I'll keep you posted, Google Users, but my experience here is definitely improving.

We can't say thank you enough to the very talented team at Earthadelic that help to complete our outdoor project .A big shout out goes to Grant Smith for helping us create our woodland landscape design ,master carpenter Frankie Quintana ,stone artisan Rommel Hightower, Mike Berry, our experienced and talented project manager and to all the rest of their crew!What started out as an overgrown side lot is now our own slice of heaven!These guys were able to bring our vision of having an outdoor space which would include the amenities that once were reserved for home interiors into a reality .My husband now has a fabulous sports bar that includes a big screen TV(which stays hidden behind hand crafted cabinet doors when not in use)a rocking sound system thanks to Chris Windel and the most inviting stone fireplace ......which I LOVE !Our pavilion includes just the right amount of space for an interior wet bar, bathroom and piddle room for me!These guys are true Artisans .I admired how the crew took pride in their work and how each day they brought their individual talents and craftsmanship to our project.We look forward to working with Earthadelic on future projects .

Grant Smith was my landscape designer and he was a pleasure to work with and visited the job site frequently throughout the entire project. The Project Leaders name was Rommel and he deserves all the credit for orchestrating and installing a complex patio that entailed hand cut curves and slopes - truly amazing work.

As I began this process, it was advised by a friend in the industry, not to skimp on quality when it comes to patios, walkways, and/or walls. I chose Earthadelic for that reason alone, and the peace of mind was worth every penny

When I chose Earthadelic, I knew I was paying a premium price for exemplary quality and service. By remodeling my backyard, it has transformed my life at home. It is a true joy to step outside and relish in its beauty and I can't wait to see it flourish year after year.

I do not know where to start and will be adding more to this review in the future. In short, Earthadelic misrepresented the supplies they were using to build a patio cover to be of a higher quality than what they actually used, they committed many installation errors resulting in a faulty drainage solution, they reused old excavated dirt filled with debris and gravel to regrade my yard leaving it full of trash and gravel. I was not able to see the gravel and trash in the yard because of thick straw covering laid down after seeding. When I noticed the numerous problems I contacted the owner Dale. Three times he told me he would come out to my house to inspect the issues but never showed. I have come to realize that my only recourse is legal action to recover some of my losses and reached out to the owner one last time. He informed me that he was unwilling to do anything to help correct any of the problems. I am planning to move forward with legal action against the company. I plan on creating a reddit thread which will include a full discourse of the nightmare I experienced with earthadelic along with testimony from other landscapers who have reviewed the work and neighbors who witnessed the problems. I'll post the link to the thread here once it's available. Below is picture showing where they installed a drain pipe elbow upside down (seep hole should be on the bottom not the top of the elbow) causing standing water in the pipe. The pipe was also installed with a backflow toward the house resulting in eventual flooding at the corner of the house.

As you can see from the owner's response below I've reach out to them numerous times trying to get the issues resolved. One of the key issues is that the owners showed no concerns for the details of operations of the job. Different crews would show up on different days with multiple crews having no idea of the scope of work or the design. There was no quality control. There were continual excuses and misrepresentations as evidenced here in the owners reply. I'm working on a full discourse with documentation, timelines and pictures for a small claims case against earthadelic. After the case is settled I'll post the discourse to help prevent the same experience from happening to others.

Don't even remember why I gave this 1 star, but it stays since the owner called me repeatedly to try and change it.

Before moving back to Knoxville, I decided I wanted my Deerfield condo updated. Earthadelic enlarged the living space by landscaping the small rear patio and yard, Due to family matters, the project had to be approved by the condo board and installed within 30 days of the first meeting. The project became the showplace of the community, High praise from all who see my home.
I have permanently returned to Tennessee and just purchased a larger home. Can't wait to see what they do at the new digs!

The positive:
-The end result met and exceeded our original need.
-The end result was even more effective and attractive than we had imagined.
-The fellows doing the work were professional, hardworking, and responsive to our needs.

The negative:
-The planning process was difficult. We had to really fight for our vision.
-The handoff from sales/project planning was not at all clean.
-I have a lot of control of my work schedule and often work from home, so I was able to see the communication breakdowns before they became problems (most of the time.) But this was a luxury, that if I didn't have, I believe that many things that should have been done wouldn't have been done.

Could be improved:
-The initial contact with Earthadelic, and the end result were both superb. But, there were too many loose ends left to chance in the handoff from sales/project planning to the actual installers. I felt like I had to be both the client and the foreman on too many occasions.
-If I were to do business with Earthadelic again, I'd need them to provide greater written clarity in the project and I'd want to meet with the salesman, superintendent, and project foreman at the beginning of doing work in order to ensure that the vision for the project is clearly articulated. (This meeting never really happened, though a few partial meetings of this nature did happen in weeks 2 and 3 of the 5+ week long install.)

I hired Earthadelic to solve a water drainage issue. They scheduled the appt. and showed up on time and stayed within the estimate. I received prompt professional service and couldn't be happier with the results. Thanks Earthadelic!

I hired this company 4.5 years ago to do landscaping and pavers around our pool. they went on and on about how they were above and beyond any company in knoxville and that s why they cost more than other quotes. you get what you pay for I heard that in several encounters when questioning their astronomical pricing. well fast forward to now, and I am going to have to have almost our entire pool area redone. our pavers are sinking, grass, moss, and weeds growing all over through the sand. we have areas around the pool that have separated completely and you can t pick up actual pavers that are now loose. we also had to replant majority of our tress which most died within the first 2 years. all of our flowering plants never made it over a year. we redid majority of the planting and gardening done by them. however, finding it very difficult to shell out the money to replace and fix our pavers when we paid 3x what most people quoted us to do. you should do your research and I would run fast from any hardscaping they over. it will not last

We had a rather large project including all landscaping and hardscape with an open and covered area and fireplace. It was a big job and we had just completed a huge inside renovation. The inside was complicated, time consuming and exhausting. We wanted an easy button for the outside project and Earthadelic really provided one. We had a few quotes and I researched a lot. I knew they were more expensive than others, but I wanted quality done right. Grant Smith was our project manager and was awesome from day one. His plans were amazing and he made sure the real life is almost exactly as pictured. They were easy to work with and allowed for us to make adjustment along the way. The crew was awesome and respectful of our time and property. They work hard, sometimes working form 8-8 if weather was good to keep deadlines. There were a couple miscommunications but nothing that couldn t be fixed or wasn t a huge deal. Ultimately we love it all so far. We can t thank Grant enough for working with us. Our friends have already signed on to a project with him as well. In the end we felt our money was well spent and can t wait to enjoy the new space!

We had Earthadelic completely redo the landscaping for the front of our house. We worked with Grant Smith to design a beautiful plan for not only the new plantings, but also for redirecting any stormwater away from our house to protect our foundation/basement. The stormwater issues were something that we weren't even aware of, so we felt very fortunate that Grant identified those issues and made it a priority to help us solve them, plus create some beautiful new landscape beds. Our project foreman, Pedro, and his team did a fantastic job with the installation. We appreciated the on-the-fly adjustments that Grant and Pedro decided to make to create an even better result by relocating some of the existing plants that would otherwise have been wasted. We are very happy with the result. The new plants are both lovely to look at, but also beneficial for the native wildlife while highlighting our house's architecture. Overall, we would highly recommend working with Earthadelic and Grant to all of our friends and family.

Did a great job working with our existing landscape. Very professional and helpful.

I recently had Grant give me an estimate on a backyard project. At first I thought the estimate was a little high, but I planned on doing this project in phases. That way I can see the work and make a determination if what I received is what I expected for the price paid. The first phase is now complete and I plan on using Earthadelic for future phases. Grant and Daniel truly are assets to Earthadelic and their work was excellent! When a crew showed up they had their materials, tools, and were ready to work from the beginning and worked long hours. Daniel is very detail oriented and his work ethic is top notch. He'd work on a specific item until it was perfect. Grant followed up and kept us abreast of cost/arrival of some of the additions that were made to the initial project, which enhanced his design for our space. Would I use this crew and Earthadelic again, yes I will.

I really want to recommend these guys as they were great before they had cashed our check. Of about 100 plants, we lost 30+, many of which we ve learned should have never been expected to survive in our region in the first place. After many unanswered/returned calls and emails, I now have no option but to contact a different landscaper and shell out thousands more to fix it.

Grant Smith did a stunning landscape design for us, beautifully incorporating existing features. He tailored the design for our space and conditions, and he accommodated other exterior work we were having done. The lighting is breathtaking and perfectly highlights our house and landscape. The crew was professional and went above and beyond. We are very pleased with the outcome.

About two years ago I had a French drain installed along the side of my garage, it still gets waterlogged. I thought it was the garage doors seeing as how I have nice rocks and a new French drain. After countless new thicker door seals and crazy caulking it is not the doors,It is the drain. When the drain was installed it was barely below the top of the dirt before it was covered in gravel. Almost every time it rains the little ditch that it is in will not carry away the water so it ends up in my garage. I just found this out Recently,only after I dug down to see how deep it actually was

Paul was great, listening to what I wanted on the landscaping project, working to get everything finished and following up on questions. He graciously compromised when we encountered a misunderstanding in communication. I'm pleased with the finished product.

I was quite impressed with Earthadelic. Unlike most of their cliental, I had created my own design, but needed their input to complete it. They were enthusiastic throughout the process. I had several trees planted with their input on where and how many. They picked beautiful specimens for me. They assisted with my front brick garden idea and made it beautiful, even planting bushes I already had. I had also bought an in-ground pond which they positioned, dug out, and made a lovely slate wall around. Their vision of how it would look was perfect. They even incorporated a vegetable garden next to it, terraced with the same border used in my front garden. And I must add that, unlike most landscapers, they were on time in spite of some bad-weather days. They work as a team for you and with you. Truly a great experience.

Fantastic experience from design to completion. Shane C wowed us with a hand drawn site plan one day after visiting site. Big and expensive project so we were worried about cost overruns. There were none. They gave us a fixed cost quote when we signed contract.

Two 100' x 10' segmented retaining walls, 400 sq ft flagstaff patio, boulder wall and boulder seats form patio boundaries, oversized fire pit, boulder steps from house to boat dock, lighting and lush plantings. 2-3 month project completed on time (after accounting for weeks of rain this spring) and on budget.

Rommel H is an artist using heavy equipment as his brushes. Watching the project unfold was like watching a sculpture being made.

Can't speak more highly of this group or our experience. Would definitely use them again and recommend to friends and family

If I could give them 10 stars, I definitely would. These guys were so hardworking and professional. They did an outstanding job and were worth every penny.

We searched for two years until we found the right company for us to build a pond and waterfall on our property along with stonework and landscaping. My wife came in contact with Paul at Earthadelic Landscape and he was our consultant and salesperson that helped design and craft exactly what we wanted based on him listening carefully to what we were looking for. His team took his blueprint and created something magical for us. It exceeded what we had hoped for and we could not be happier. The foreman and crew were amazing and everyone took such personal pride in the work being done. You would have thought they were building it for themselves. The work was top quality and every person we encountered was the utmost professional. When we had questions or needed assistance, they responded almost always the same day and never later than 24 hours. We intend to have future work done and when we do, there will only be one company we will contact. The high level of communication, the responsiveness and the overall professionalism has made me a loyal customer!

I want to tell you this was a great experience. Paul came out and gave me an estimate. The work was put on the schedule immediately. Jose and his crew came and did a fantastic job. He was awesome to talk to. I can not be more pleased with the work that was done. Would recommend with no problem and will use them again!!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Grant came out to our home and listened to what my wife and I were wanting to do. He took our basic concept and gave us several different ideas to consider. When he returned to present the estimate, Grant came prepared with drawings, pictures, material lists, etc.. We received several estimates, and Grant's level of detail and communication were the main reasons we chose Earthadelic.

We were placed on the schedule promptly and updated as quickly as possible when weather wasn't cooperating in the days leading up to production. The first clear day we had, the team at Earthadelic was at our house starting. Those guys are truly artists. They finished everything on schedule with no surprises. Thank you Earthadelic and Grant!

Brett, Mike and the entire team were fantastic on our screen porch makeover! We are thrilled with the results. They were professional, on time and provided all the necessary communication/follow up during and after the project.
We also had a ton of landscaping done. Grant Smith is a talented landscape designer and top notch at customer service. From beginning to end, he listened to what we wanted, created a plan to deliver on our wishes, ensured things were done and followed up throughout. Earthadelic continues to impress, specifically Grant Smith! We had landscape lighting installed in the past by Earthadelic. We had a light that went out and assumed it needed a bulb replacement. Contacted Grant simply asking how we go about replacing the bulb. He quickly responded. It was more than a bulb issue and it was covered under warranty. Problem solved at no cost to us thanks to Grant and continued terrific customer service!

In the Fall of 2014, when my wife and I decided to enhance the landscaping at our new lake house, we decided to look for a new landscaping company. Some good friends that had used Earthadelic suggested we try them. They had a great experience working with them and were very satisfied with the results.

We contacted Dale and set a meeting to view the house and area to be done. He was very professional, well spoken and knowledgeable. We discussed breaking down the proposal in several phases as we were thinking to do the work over the coming few years. He discussed his idea to keep the area as natural to the surrounding woods and lake as possible, using trees and plants native to the area.

He returned a few weeks later as promised with a fantastic colored drawing of the entire property. It specified what type of trees and plants to be used, rock formations, a fire pit facing the lake and a water feature in the front yard. It was more than we had ever imagined we would receive. It was easy to understand and my wife researched the plants and trees on the Internet to better understand what they would look like in full bloom.

It was actually so beautiful, we decided to do all phases immediately. We discussed pricing, timing and the way it would unfold. Though we were in no hurry to finish, we did explain we had a houseful of family coming for the Christmas holidays. They said they would try to finish in time, though we fully expected it to be well into 2015 before they could.

During preparation, several people from their offices visited the site and drew up plans and ideas of how to proceed. They started work on the day they promised and had more workers there than we expected. They arrived early every day and worked a full day. The progress was astounding! Within days, we saw more work done than we could have imagined.

As a few weeks passed, the work and progress kept going at the fast pace they started with. Shane and his crew worked almost non-stop. At the end of each workday, the grounds were left as clean and orderly as possible. They really respected the fact that we lived there and never left trash or a mess behind them. Many days there were crews on site doing different projects (electrical, water feature, stone workers, etc.) It was truly gratifying to see so many people working every day.

As the holidays approached, we were asked if we would mind if they worked on Saturdays and Sundays in order to complete the work by Christmas. We were shocked, but definitely said please do. They worked two straight weeks (14 days) during that period. By the time we had 16 family members arrive for the holidays, the job was almost completed. Truth told, had we not added some stone steps, additional trees, accent lights and some other items, I feel confident they could have been completely done by Christmas!

The finished product is amazing! My wife and I could not be more satisfied with the look and feel of the beautiful landscaping, fire pit, water feature, stone work, lighting and other work done by Earthadelic. We are very picky about work being done as ordered, and in this case, it was definitely completed as promised.

Obviously, I would strongly recommend Dale and his crew of experts to do any work in these areas. They were honest, fair priced, efficient, punctual and a pleasure to work with. Feel free to ask Dale or any of his team to bring you by our house to see the results. If we ever need anything else done to our property, we will only call Earthadelic. Phil & Tammie Zacheretti

My husband and I are so happy that we hired Earthadelic for our landscape and firepit construction. Grant Smith did an amazing job on the design of our landscape and is so professional and friendly. Grant did an wonderful job of designing the revamp, and coordinating the project with the remodel of our front porch and front yard landscaping. He listened to me and figured out my personality and the direction I wanted to go and came back to me with exactly what would work with my vision of our home. Grant Smith and his team are Amazing!! They went above and beyond our expectations.
We had a unique space and they made it a beautiful outdoor kitchen. Everyone who sees it raves about it because it is such a great fit. After a big rain we had some standing water and Grant sent the team out and reworked the slope. If you have a vision the Earthadelic team can make it happen.

I m writing this review while enjoying our incredible new outdoor living space designed and constructed by the Earthadelic team. From our initial contact with Earthadelic through project completion, we have been thoroughly impressed with our project manager and designer, Grant Smith. Grant listened closely to our vision for our outdoor space which included a fireplace, retaining walls, pavers, pergola, sod/trees/plants, as well as the concerns we had with water mitigation and schedule. He came back with a design concept that addressed all of our desires and concerns neatly incorporated into the project design. In addition to capturing everything on our initial vision wish list, he also suggested a beautiful water feature that really elevated the design to a new level. Once the design was complete and agreed to, start and end dates were provided and there were no delays. The team assigned to transform our space was outstanding; talented and hard working professionals who worked with Grant to ensure our project was built as designed (special thanks to Daniel and Frankie). Grant was at the project almost daily making sure the job was on schedule. He was always available to listen to our questions; very responsive to text and phone calls as well. We highly recommend Earthadelic and especially Grant Smith to those looking for high quality, beautiful landscape/hardscape design and installation.

After contacting multiple other local landscaping / hardscaping businesses , earthadelic was the ONLY one to follow up with us and respond in a timely manner. Not only did they follow up, but they wowed us with a dream home worthy plan for our backyard with lots of great options. Highly recommend this crew.

This was a great company to work for. They did an excellent job on the irrigation system. Cleaned up everything and even pressure washed the driveway, sidewalk and street. Highly recommend this company. Will be using them in the future for other projects.

Earthadelic redesigned my front flowerbeds and also revised the back of my property to be less problematic from a tree stump perspective and more attractive from a deck perspective. Jessica was a joy to work with, taking into accounts both the land itself and my ideas for native plants, birds, and bees - and the crew was fantastic. Great work at a very reasonable price. Now, to make an appointment for a remulching.

Mark, Troy and Francisco did a fantastic job installing and setting up two very heavy fountains. That knew exactly what they were doing and were very careful to get everything right. They were also very pleasant to work with.

Worked with Grant on getting some privacy tree's in. Job was a 15k job . He and his workers did a great job. His workers worked pretty hard in the heat.

Earthadelic has done a fantastic job working with us to make our clients' vision become reality. They have completed each project with an attention to quality and detail that sets them apart from others. An excellent landscape and hardscape contractor!

I had a ground water problem near a retaining wall that was damaging the wall stucco. Paul Dickerson of Earthadelic came out to our house to discuss what was needed and give us some ideas of what could be done. He developed a plan for fixing the problem and enhancing to look of the area with new edging and additional stone covering on the ground at our home in Loudon County. The work was done on time and in budget very professionally by crew foreman John Walker. John communicated very well during the work and made sure the job and cleanup was done to our satisfaction. Paul ensured a second coat of stucco was added to assure the wall repair matched the rest of the wall. This required picking up additional material to make a good match with the wall finish. The added work was finifhed in one day. Following the work Paul visited the house to inspect the job and make sure we were fully satisfied. Great job by all

What can I say about Earthadelic that the pictures don't already say? They transformed our yard into an incredible work of art! I started with an idea to flatten the yard (due to the slope), but when Shane came with a larger concept - I was hooked. Plus they under-promise and over-deliver on what they could do - the end result is above what I expected. Rommel was top notch and ran a tight ship, doing every bit of the stone work by hand. Any issues that came up along the way were communicated and responded to quickly. I only wish we would have done this sooner. I highly recommend them!

We hired Earthadelic to remodel our master bathroom and WOW, were we ever pleased! These professionals exceeded our expectations in every area: professionalism, timeliness, creativity and delivery of what they promised. I am thrilled with our new bathroom and will call Earthadelic with any other projects we consider, indoors or outdoors!

Eathadelic did a wonderful job. They were very professional, worth every penny. We had them do a stone wall and hillside landscaping. Every detail from the initial meeting with Paul was translated into the final project. We will be using them again in the near future.

Everything they did was perfect.

The crew was wonderful also, after a few days of rain holding things up, they got right to work.

Called 6 local landscapers and Grant at Earthadelic was the only one to actually return my call. He and his team arrived on time and listened to my needs as well as asked questions about what we were wanting as an end result. They then took actual measurements of the land and used that data to put together a comprehensive plan to achieve what we had asked for. Due to a time constraint, we also asked all of this to be done within a week, and Grant got it to me prior to my deadline. Great company with great employees!

Earthadelic was fantastic from start to finish. Grant Smith layer out a superb plan for our yard and irrigation system. This included an under story grouping of flowering trees and a variety of colorful shrubs. The new lighted sidewalk is marvelous. The team did great job and were all very professional. I was amazed how fast the project was completed.

Earthadelic designed and constructed an outdoor living space for us that has fundamentally changed the way we experience home! We initially met with the Earthadelic design team with the simple directive - "We want something cool outside!". The designers translated this simple directive into a covered porch living space that feels more like an extension of our home rather than an "addition". From the moment we saw the design, we were excited, but what really sets Earthadelic apart is the team-work approach and dedication to the implementation of our project. From conception to completion, rain or snow, there was never a missed day of work. Each of the team members genuinely cared about the project and their pride shows in the final project. We have enjoyed the out-door living space more than we ever could have anticipated!

We initially watched earthadelics transform our neighbors lot into a beautiful landscaped yard. We were very impressed with their professionalism, dependability and timeliness of the project. We contracted them to create a backyard entertainment space including multiple patios and a firepit. They listened to our ideas and came up with an amazing design that incorporated the features of the house and accentuated the view of the mountains and lake. Working with Paul at Earthadelic was incredibly easy. Their work is meticulous; they go the extra mile for a client. The lawn looks great, the neighbors are excited, and my realtor said the job definitely added value to the house.

We have enjoyed a very long working relationship with Earthadelic covering three separate projects and can say, gladly, they are wonderful. I cannot think of another company with which i have had such a good relationship and I have referred them to several others.

We had Earthadelic add some texture and privacy to our backyard. Grant Smith was very helpful in determining what we were looking for while being respectful of our budget. We are very happy with how it turned out.

While working on my neighbors yard they destroyed my fence. Reached out multiple times never could get a straight answer from them. From talking with the neighbor they had an absolute horrible experience as well.

From the first phone call to Earthadelic we found them to be responsive and punctual. We had contacted other companies first about getting our master bath remodeled and adding a screened room to our deck. Of the 4 companies we called only 2 came by and neither followed through with a quote. Earthadelic set up an appointment within days of the 1st call and came back with a quote just a few days later. They worked around our schedule and completed both projects by the deadline we had agreed upon.
The actual work was great and we are extremely happy with the quality. Throughout the process they communicated with us and were always receptive to any changes or concerns we had. The crews were always on time and very respectful of our property. We have already recommended Earthadelic to several friends and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Earthadelic had done good work in the past and we have spent a lot of money with them. But lately they have just gotten greedy, their work has slipped, and they have been unresponsive. We can no longer recommend and apologise to anyone who referenced our previous positive review.

Did a wonderful job on our pool deck renovation. On budget and on time. The job consisted of paver overlay, new coping around pool, and installation of a jump rock. Also transformed the landscaping around our pool to give it refined and softer look.

New patio with wall looks great. Felt I was in earnest hands the entire process.
