Good clean RV park. Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Spaces are a little cramped, tho not unusual. All spaces appeared level. Good value.

Lovely park. Nice sized sites. Ok laundry. Really nice people. We actually had some grass to hang out on. The hot springs nearby are worth visiting.
We stopped at the last minute and for the night they were very helpful even that late. Will stay again if we are ever in the area.
We stayed here in July. The sites are clean and well kept. Everyone there is kind, polite, very helpful. They are close to fishing, rafting and hot springs. We will definitely stay again!
Easy parking, nice clean place, restrooms and great hostess
No space, right on top of one another. No grass, all gravel. So turned off by the entire place. Gave a 2 as opposed to a 1, as the owner at check-in was nice.
If space is important to you. Not your place.
Absolutely wonderful stay at this park! We stayed in two deluxe cabins in January and had a great time. Originally I had thought that three guys could stay in one deluxe cabin but as it turned out there were only two beds! My mistake, not theirs. So we were going to move to a smaller (but more beds) cabin but the wonderful owners said since it's the off season and we also had a large dog, that we could stay in two deluxe cabins and only be charged for one! If that's not being outstanding hosts then I don't know what is! The cabins were very clean and comfortable with a microwave and a fridge but since it stayed below freezing every night, we couldn't use the toilet or sink, but it was a simple, short walk over to the spotless restroom, complete with shower. I have never felt more welcome or appreciated in any stay in any place I have traveled to. Dennis and family, you are Saints! We stayed a week and when we left, we left with a little regret about not being able to stay longer. We will return.
Desertratdan, Chris and Joe
Great little RV park, everything is neat and clean. Owners are on-site and super helpful, gave us great recommendations on things to do, definitely will stay again next time through!
Staff very helpful. They have 50 amp and 30 amp sites. Campground is small but cozy. We had a 30 amp spot in the shade. Great spot for overnight or extended stays.
Awesome experience, accommodated us on late notice, during the aftermath of a snow storm. Highly recommended. Thank you.
Very nice, but the spaces are tight. Very clean, friendly, and not close to the train tracks. If the spaces were spread apart, I would give it five stars
Very well kept. Friendly. We'll stay here again when visiting the hot spring
Nicely maintained grounds. Easy access just south of Thermopolis Wyoming. They have picnic tables and a few firepits outside their cabins. I highly recommend.
We stayed two nights at the Eagle RV Park and have to say that we have never seen more helpful RV hosts ever. They went out of their way to get a blown tire replaced even over the weekend when local tire shops are were closed! Needless to say that the RV Park was very clean and the bathrooms were impeccable. Highly recommend this place to anybody staying in Thermopolis and we will certainly return.
Great little place. Enjoyed the cabins. Will be back!
Great little RV park. The owners/operators are extremely helpful. We had some TV problems and the owner came to our rig and diagnosed the problem immediately and helped fix it. They're a very hospitable and happy couple. Thanks!!
Beautiful place! Very clean and easy to get to. Definitely will stay again and highly recommend for all ages.
Wonderful people. Very nice. Clean. Would stay again.
Great place. Central location to this part of Wyo. Very nice staff.
I don't understand why any camper or RV owner would stay at another RV Campgroud in the area. I extended my stay because of the campground. It is clean, well kept, internet worked, owners are A+++. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
The workers were very accommodating and waited up for our late arrival.
Camped at tent site here. Great place. Clean bathrooms. Friendly front desk, in person and on phone. Tent sites are at back of lot, so away from road. Little cabins looked cool also.
I think her name was Christine. Nicest lady you could ever meet. I LOVED THIS PLACE! Pull through site was very open and convenient. Quiet. Facilities are great. When traveling through again we WILL stay there again, if nothing, just to say Hello to Christine.
Nice, clean sites. Super friendly family runs the place! Next to the fly shop and walking distance to public the WYDot Access fishing areas! Bathrooms/showers are clean and large, but most importantly DO NOT REQUIRE QUARTERS!!!!
Every memorial day my family has a gathering there never had a bad experience, they do have showers, laundry room, places to hook up water and electricity for a camper. Also there are spots to put up tents, there are even small cabins you can stay at.
Amidst CoVid19 my husband and I were displaced from our home. We found ourselves living in our 28 airstream and looking for a friendly RV park where we could social distance, stay happy and healthy. We were so fortunate to find that Eagle RV was open for business and our big rig fit in our space quite comfortably. Dennis and Kristina were the ultimate hosts. So accommodating and helpful. Bathrooms and campground were spotless. We come to Thermopolis for the fishing and now we have a home away from home at Eagle RV Park.
I would highly recommend this RV park! Great spaces, clean showers and laundry room. Beautiful setting.
Well maintained little campground. It's on the main road but you don't notice because of the great set up. We tent camped and the tent pads were level and spacious. The owners were very helpful. Our camp site was bordering the neighboring property and they must do some type of business there because machines were going non stop but they stopped by 11. It's no fault of the owners but just something to keep in mind.
If you have more than a 20 foot long travel teailer /camper, this park is very tight. Saw several large travel trailers struggle to get in and out. Also the small sites are very close to one another, so privacy is lost.
I was torn between a 4 and 5 star rating. For cleanliness and friendly staff definitely a 5 but for location more of a 4. It is right next to the highway so there is some traffic noise. Luckily this died down in the evening, and in a camper it probably wouldn't even be noticeable.
They let me park my bike under the gazebo which was nice to not have to get out the rain covers. They have a few things for sale in the office and grills on site. We tented which was okay but the park is definitely RV oriented. (Hence the name! ;)
I stayed at the Eagle RV park for 3 months in summer of 2013. What a busy park, so be sure to book ahead ! The park is very well shaded with grassy spots for tents and graveled spots for campers. The staff is very courteous and efficient, bathrooms and showers are cleaned daily. I couldn't of asked for a better place to stay.
This RV park is for people who stay long term or prefer to sit inside their RV and watch TV all day and night. DO NOT camp here if you want to sit around a camp fire and enjoy time with friends and family. Quiet time starts at 10:00pm. We were cleaning up and putting out our campfire at 9:50pm and another guest came over and yelled at us for being too loud. It wasn t even 10pm yet! We were so turned off by this. I think a large problem is everything is this place is a bit overcrowded and RV s are on top of each other. There is no privacy here. Not only are guests rude, but the staff are rude too. The younger woman who works there was uninterested and rude during check in and check out. One morning we went to the office to try out their free coffee. The office opens at 8:00am. We stopped by at 8:45am. The office door was closed with no sign. We knocked and even peered through the window. No one was in there. We look over towards the grill area and we see the young woman sitting there just watching us. She didn t even get up to see what we needed. She just ignored us. The next morning, she is speeding through the RV park on her 4 wheeler at 7:30am! They are so strict with quiet hours being 10pm-8am, yet she s speeding through the park on her super loud 4 wheeler waking everyone up. Thermopolis is super cool. We enjoyed the hot mineral pools, shopping at the delightful shops around town, and fishing on the Big Horn. However, we will not be returning to this RV park.
Don't pass this one up...the hosts are great and my site was tight, but good.
The owners don't work with you and took an rv even though payments were being made
Quiet, welcoming, clean and had everything I needed as a car camper. I'll be back!
Our family held a family reunion here over the 4th of July of 2015, and all 38 of us had an awesome time and loved staying in the cabins which were awesome, the staff was extremely friendly, and we would all come back to this RV park. We had a very large pop up trailer with attached awning with attached tent which is larger than many RV's, and we had plenty of room.
Great place on south edge of town, quiet with very friendly host named Christine. Reasonable rates with clean facilities.
We were on our way to Yellowstone and stayed at Eagle RV Park in Thermopolis Wyoming. The Park is very nice and very clean and located near the Hot Springs. But even better, the owners are amazing people. Or RV had a broken pipe on the Grey Tank , and the owner came and fixed it for me, and then would not take money for this!!!! If you are in Central Wyoming for the Hot Springs, or going to or coming from Yellowstone this is a must stay RV Park!!!!!
WONDERFUL Wonderful park....clean..easy access and great service. Will stay any time we are this way again.
This is an old KOA that needs some updating for rigs over 30'. It's very tight and crowded. No room on our site to place fire ring or open awning. Utilities right next to neighbors table. Staff friendly and helpful, but they can't fix the poor design. Might look elsewhere next time.
We stayed here on a few occasions, the On being in the last week of September. We stayed there on a Monday night and we re very disappointed with the facilities. There were numerous places where dogs had pooped and no one had picked it up including on top of a large rock that you couldn t miss. The cable tv was also very poor. The spaces are very close and it is muddy after a rain.
Very nice place, owners are very friendly. Campsites are very clean. Definitely recommend this place
Great place to catch some sleep eye! We didn't have reservations; however when we stopped they had a spot and a pretty nice one. Thermopolis is a pretty dry hot place and I can imagine that trees are difficult to come by when looking for a good campsite. The Eagle RV Park had plenty to go around.
This place doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but the owners and staff are very friendly and their place is very well kept. The laundry room has several washers and dryers and a nice space to fold clothing when your done. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. There were two showers and three toilet stalls. Nice big mirrors and counter tops. Everything was in great repair and full of fun colors.
The campsite was full when we were there and even though it was full it was pretty quiet. Everyone was nice and respectful of one another. Kids road their bikes around while parents laughed with friends around picnic tables. The tables they supply are wood or composite material, depending on the site you stay in for the night. Very useful indeed.
They also had cabins for rent, some smaller then others and all very cute with a small chunk of grass lawn.
I would stay here again if we visit this area. Great price for a great place.
Great park with easy access. Plenty of trees for shade. Also had cabins to rent which we'll try on our next trip there.
I can't truthfully give a good analysis of the quality of the establishment, not having spent the night, but the owners are certainly very kind, generous, considerate people.
On August 21st, my family and I dropped by to ask if we were far enough south to see the total solar eclipse, as we weren't sure where we should watch from. The owner kindly offered to give us solar viewing glasses (which we already had) and let us watch right from his lawn. We planned on buying something from the little shop to repay the favor, but he asked us to write a review instead, hence this well-deserved review.
Camp ground was clean, everything we used worked, priced well and the owner(Assumed owner) was extremely pleasant!!
Great place to overnight. They have a good selection of general RV minor needs.
Owners are great, go out of their way to make your stay a great experience. Clean and well maintained.
Great lady that owns the place, very polite and helpful with everything and kids were very helpful too. Very clean, and tidy area and utilities.
Would very well recommend this leave for camping to anyone..
The men's bathroom sink faucets are not great. They don't stay on ling enough to eat your face or shave. My husband wasn't impressed with that part. The rest is great.
We had a great two night stay here. Very little road noise. Nice pool and friendly staff. Bathrooms/showered were always clean.
The owner was very kind, the grounds were very well maintained, and it was in a perfect location!
Fabulous location, luxe cabin, and great value minutes from hot pools. Smart tv was a bonus.
The owners are so down to earth, ready to help at anytime , day or night. Such a perfecy spot to stay. The cabins are so comfortable to stay the night in or just hang out. Great family owned RV park!!
Great place! The guy running the place was super nice and very helpful!
I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. We have a 38ft 5th wheel and getting in and out wasn't a problem. If you're in a tight spot they will be sure lend an extra set of eyes to help guide you in/out. Dennis and his son are some of the nicest and most generous people I've ever met. They would literally give you the shirt off their back if you needed it. The park is beautiful with mature trees and nice facilities. The cabins are also very cool and accommodating. Do yourself a favor when visiting Thermopolis. Drive by the rest and head to Eagle RV!
The owners are great. Lovely trees. For larger units it may be tight. Washrooms are clean and updated. One of the nicer private RV parks.
We made a pit stop in Thermopolis on our way home and just happened upon this place based on reviews. They were right! The hosts were very nice and helpful. Stay here if you need a rest on your travels!
Rather disappointed with this facility.. web site of the sites are rather misleading as they are small and crammed in. Located right on the hwy.
Will not be staying here again
This is the best park in Thermopolis for sure. The owner does an amazing job of keeping the place clean.
The wifi was great to catch up on work and the park was quiet even though it's next to a road.
Feedback would be for the park to look at pest control. We had lots of bugs in our camper (not flies or mosquitoes). Additionally, it would be nice if dogs were limited to specific areas. We didn't use the grass areas because dogs were doing their business in them even though there are designated spots. Not the parks fault, some dog owners just do not care about others.
People that complain about spots being tight in an RV park are ridiculous. These sites are fine. If you want a meadow go camp on BLM.
Thanks for the hospitality and
This is a very nice park. Dennis and Kristine are very personable and work very hard to maintain a clean and friendly campground. We enjoyed our stay here, and would come back anytime!
Stopped to charge our Tesla Model S. The guy at the front was very friendly! They have very cute cabins. Next time we are coming through, we will likely stay in a cabin.
Very nice park. Price is right & the owners are fabulous!
Easy to get to. Everything was clean and tidy. Friendly staff.
We have stayed at this park several years in a row now. The first few years were absolutely wonderful. Great owners and the nicest people you would want for camp hosts.
Since then the park changed hands and when we stayed there the last time back in May 2015 it was not nearly as nice as the first few years. The restroom/showers were the worst with toilet paper not being replenished quick enough and then they were not cleaned often enough to keep up with the amount of guests using the facilities. The grounds were not kept neat & tidy either and lacked sufficient mowing. The RV sites are small and compact and it can be a struggle to get a large 5th wheel rig into some of them. Some guests with extra vehicles tended to clog up the extra parking lot behind the building and made the job of getting a larger rig into the sites directly behind the office building harder than it needed to be. Judging by the reviews that have been written since we were last there, perhaps things have changed and we will be giving them another chance in the near future.
The owners here were SO nice. They hosted us during the 2017 Total Eclipse, which was a very hectic time, but they made it nice and the whole trip as just unforgettable. Thermopolis is a great place to visit and this is the best place to stay in an RV when you do. I ALMOST NEVER give our 5 stars, BTW, but the Eclipse was truly spectacular and staying here was an important part of that.
Nicely laid out RV park with great bathrooms and managers. They were extremely helpful in getting our tv up and running.
Great campground! We really enjoyed our stay, only one night but, would definitely go back for an extended stay. Nice clean facilities and outstanding hospitality. Thank you for making us feel at home even though we were 1898 miles away.
Good location at the edge of town with lots of shade. Nice facilities, friendly staff, has a welcoming feel. Would stay here again.
Very nice people. They really want you to have a good stay. My pull through site had limbs hanging low on the exit side. I asked them if they could clip them and he came right out and did a very good job of clearing them out so that I would not have to worry about dragging the limbs/stubs across the top of the camper as I left. For the money well worth it. It is kind of close quarters, but management keeps an eye on parking and where you can or can not park. If I'm passing this way again, I would stay here.
Very friendly staff.we were caught up in a bad thunderstorm, and the nice owner came out to check on us.what a great place!!! Also very affordable.we love this place we will definitely return!!!
Nicest camp hosts/owners EVER! We were already pleased with the facilities and friendly service. Was already planning on leaving a review, they were so kind. We decided to go into town and eat based on their recommendation, before setting up. While there my wife got really sick and had to be taken to the ER. Since we were in an RV and after a long driving she insisted I take kids back and let them rest. W/o any easy way back into town, Dennis and Kristine insisted driving me into town to pick her up hrs later! This was not part of their job and they wouldn't take money for going out of their way and above and beyond! If you want to meet the nicest people perhaps in Wyoming, you need to stop at this place!
Very friendly host.we loved it.clean and convenient
Facility was nice and clean but the area they gave us a park in had divots in holes and they still charged full price for a crappy area to park. The hook up for so far up and trailer we had to scoot all the way over till we were almost against a tree. Lot 13
This place is beautiful. So close to the big horn river and just a stunning camp ground and town!
