The Duvasawko rep hung up on me when I asked to speak to a manager. They made no attempt to contact me prior to putting me into collections. I had to google them from the collection to locate any info on them to clear the account.

This company fraudulently files claims to squeeze cash out of unsuspecting patients. They use incorrect codes to make sure the claims are denied so the patient is responsible. They refuse to submit correct codes. FRAUD!!!!

spoke to them regarding a bill that was sent to collections with the wrong address on it. They said it's not their responsibility once it goes to collections and 'not their problem' anymore after they send out the bill, even if it had the wrong address because the bills they sent out didn't come back 'return to sender'.

They said 'that's our policy and it's not their problem' when i said that there's no way i could have known about a bill that i never received. I told them in the state of florida it's their responsibility not only to receive information but verify it before sending it out and going to collections afterward, which they denied.

Do not do business with these people, and by proxy since they do billing for a lot of Baycare ER physicians in the Tampa bay area, do not go to Baycare emergency rooms.

This place is completely unprofessional and I will NEVER utilize the hospital I did EVER again because of these incompetent employees. I was sent to collections during a global pandemic over $115 from over a year ago that my insurance company and this God awful place told me I didn t need to pay. In fact, I still have the refund check my insurance company sent me, as I digitally deposited it. Kelly M. needs a course in customer service and Cynthia Cordisco, who is supposedly the account manager, NEVER answers her phone and doesn t even have a voicemail. I hope they take my $115 and buy some customer service training with it. I have never in my life been sent to collections but leave it to a MEDICAL billing place to do so during a state of global emergency. Classy!

Worst billing company ever paid them a huge portion of my daughters medical bill but accidently left an $87 balance and without notice they just send you to collections even if an obvious good effort was being made to clear the debt.

Cannot get this company to respond to my many messages and letters. They refuse to bill my insurance and just keep sending Past Due notices and FINAL BILLS threatening me with a creditor. I'm furious.

I went to the ER over a year ago and I called Duva-Sawko almost every month since to make sure my bill was being forwarded to my insurance correctly. I JUST discovered that my claim was being sent to the wrong address EVEN THOUGH my insurance sent back instructions and the correct address.

Now, it's too late for me to file with my insurance, but it's not due to my lack of diligence - it's due to Duva-Sawko's.

Update: I've called so many different times, don't give me your general number. Please fix your issues.

Like the other REAL reviewers have stated, this company uses an automated system that essentially makes it impossible for any business to be conducted. If you are fortunate enough to get a person on the line they will tell you they can't help and you must use email or some nonsense. Total failure of a company.

THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM. I over paid a bill BY $800 because they billed me without taking the insurance adjustment. It has been 3 months. They tell me every time its been escalated and I will get it next week. The next week comes and goes no refund. I have called 11 times and ask for a manager there is never one available. They do not call back or email me like I ask. I have been hung up on when I demanded a date of when the refund will be issued. I am beyond fed up with this company. UPDATE THEY DID SEND MY MONEY BACK ABOUT 6 MONTHS LATER!

Terrible customer service, make you jump through hoops to do anything, poor or non-existent communication, overpriced services. No ability for CS reps to do anything, force you to mail paper letters for any review process and then will only respond by mail. Backward company that needs to grow up and get with the modern times and learn some basic customer service while they are at it.
