Aside from the building being old the people who run it are great and the volunteers who give their time are amazing
This is a great place if you don't have money, the cost if you have it is $1.50. Not wheelchair excessable. Street parking. 7 course meal. Salad, soup, water, juice, dinner, dessert, coffee/tea.
This is a great deal if you don't mind eating with some poor people, (and a few of us wealthy people who just like a deal.) $1.50 for dinner, or some of the other soup kitchens will give you a free ticket for a free meal.
A good soup kitchen. $1.50 and you get a fully belly.
People caring and sharing with the unfortunate very inspiring
Good place to volunteer for your community. Lots of donation
It's an excellent place for the most vulnerable members of Durham Region to get a four-course meal for $1.50 or for free. The patrons of the soup kitchen are treated with respect in a clean environment.
Good deal , friendly volunteers, clients are a bit ify
Admirable volunteers and pleasent meals to settle and become familiar with.

This place is a salvation for those in need of food, and compassion, I've have visted this place on 2 occasions and recommend anyone in need to visit as well, I have found it to be Non Judgemental.
The idea behind ST Vincents was good but some how went astray ,the meals at times are good but the servers are another story, again not saying all are bad
if it keeps going the way they are God help them
If you are poor and living in a food insecure environment this is the first place to go at 3:30they give out a free meal
Very warming experience. Meals are only a $1.50 and its usually fully loaded with meat, potatoes, vegetables, salad, and soup of course. Many people go there to get a good delicious meal. Bread shelf makes it easy for the poor and needy to get bread and treats. Usually they have free stuff for you to take home. The staff of volunteers are excellent so we all must not forget what patience is when we go there. After all the volunteers are people too.

This is a great place to eat for the homeless and the poor and I can't say enough good things about it
$1.50 for a 4 course meal, all served by volunteers in our community.
Expect long line ups, but it is worth the long wait sometimes.

And usually a few words if you need somebody to talk with it's just how it goes there's wonderful wonderful people to do that each and every day a different Church a different group is in there cooking a wonderful meal for people that otherwise had children may have an empty belly to go to sleep with one more night God bless you all you're just wonderful keep up the good work there is lots of people that think you're just fantastic because you are
The place is welcoming, clean, and great for the community. It's awesome what they do and hope they can continue doing it. I volunteered here with a couple of friends and it was an amazing experience. We met amazing people (except for one crazy guy) and I hope I can volunteer again.
Staff and patrons are lovely. I volunteered with lawyers feed the hungry and I had a great experience serving those less fortunate.
If the goverment would lower the rent and maybe we would not have troble finding food
Volunteered here a few months ago. They feed the homeless slop. Some person said they wouldnt feed it to their dog.
