Very disappointed because we put our cottage for sale on kijiji and lespacs. Duproprio we contacted to offer us a free package of 4 months. My spouse could not pay immediately on the phone. We were told that we would be sent an email with the offer we never received and that we had to call before the end of July to accept the offer. I'm calling on July 29 and this offer is no longer available ??? There is never anything free but I felt cheated and faced with a bit of a phishing technique more than anything else.
After insisting we got a meager $ 100 rebate. Next step is consumer protection, hoping it will prevent others from being offered anything they will ever have.

For us it was a new experience that we will redo if necessary. We had an experience with the very professional DuProprio team who answered our questions throughout the sale. We consider ourselves fortunate to have had only one visit which ended with a sale.

I have listed my house on both DuProprio and Centris. There are pros and cons on both sides.
Here are the reasons why DuProprio is in my eyes the Kijiji of real estate:
_Duproprio boasts of having more visibility than Centris. This is completely wrong. I almost had twice as many visits to my house through Centris than Duproprio. The worst thing is that almost 3/4 of the people coming from Duproprio were not serious, people came to see the property simply out of curiosity and know nothing about the purchase since unaccompanied, and therefore make offers completely unreasonable. While 100% of Centris visits were made up of real potential buyers who were much more seasoned, since they were accompanied.
_They sell their service by saying "you are not alone, you are supported"
I find this argument not very credible. I had to wait hours on the phone to get a coach or a lawyer. Imagine that you receive an offer valid for 10 hours in time (which happened to me) how do you do if when you call for a coach urgently you are told that he is free within 48 hours ?? At the start of the sale, I had to wait 10 days before a coach could come and take the photos and coach me. With Centris the broker is almost always available for advice or to bring in a photographer, in less than 24 hours it was done.

Finally sold! not too soon. I had a lot of visits. Dupropio offers good visibility. Thank you for the good support. :) The notary help service is very good and very efficient, I was able to sell without hassle.

Their website works ok on a desktop, but unfortunately I do not carry a laptop with me when I'm visiting a neighborhood. Also I find it unbelievable that in 2020 they are not developing mobile first.
