Dupree Plumbing Review

Brent (the one who actually works at Dupree and not me!) came out today with an assistant to install a Phyn Plus, a water expansion tank, and replace an old pressure regulator valve.

I called Dupree despite never using them before because they are a member of the Uponer Pro Squad which is the recommended installers for the Phyn Plus. They also had highly rated reviews online.

They arrived within their appointment window, listened to my concerns / wishes, and then came up with a plan. The cost fell within the range I was expecting (albeit on the higher end), but this wasn't exactly an easy install and it took them 3 hours so I feel I got my monies worth. They did exactly what they stated they were going to do and then provided before and after pictures on their invoice and helped me with setup of the new device.

The Phyn Plus is up and running without issue and I no longer have to worry about house floods occurring from busted pipes which is a nice relief. The Phyn Plus also ran a complete pressure test on my house and found no leaks anywhere. I have heard too many horror stories about people who have had a pipe burst and had 10's of thousands of dollars in damages done so this is one less thing I have to worry about now.

The pipe leak in the basement was discovered on a Sunday morning. I needed emergency service. Dupree was 1 of 3 that I called and was the 1st one to proactively get a plumbing tech to me. Good work at a good price point. I added them to my phone contacts for when I need a plumber.

Dupree is fine for indoor work, but don't use them for anything outdoors. They use contract crews and don't supervise them. We had a leak outside and they sent the contractors over to look at it. I'm not sure if they didn't know what they were doing or if they just wanted the work, but they looked at it for a few minutes and told us we had a leak in the water line running under our driveway. They put in a new water line, but didn't turn on the water before leaving. Sure enough, once we turned it on, we still had a leak. Turns out it was our irrigation system, not the plumbing. Dupree only gave us $1500 out of the $3500 we spent. Basically, they stuck us with $2000 for something we never needed in the first place.

HONEST AND OPERATES WITH INTEGRITY. Dupree installed the plumbing in my new construction home. Kept having a leak from the upstairs bathroom that would flood downstairs. They came out 2 times and said there was nothing wrong - must have been something I did. I ended up calling another plumbing company (and paying out of pocket ~$700) to run a camera - they didn't catch any issue.

Flooding happened again (4-5th time in <2 months) - this time the owner/manager (?) came out with the plumbers and identified the pipe had been incorrectly installed (incorrect pitch). Owner/manager resolved the issue (after much frustration having to deal with this issue multiple times). Had to tear up ceiling and replace piping / drywall. Ultimately, owner/manager ended up paying the bill for the other plumber I paid out of pocket for.

Despite the issues with incorrect installation (mistakes happen - and in this case may have been hard to catch), but in the end they made it right. Owned their mistake, and reimbursed me for costs incurred. Appreciate their honesty and integrity. Have not had any issues since.

We had a blockage in the pipe exiting our house and an short notice Brandon came out and fixed our problem. He was very professional and did quality work. He didn t leave until he was sure the problem was fixed and we were totally satisfied. Great job Dupree plumbing.

The Team came out assessed my Water Heater issue quickly. They were very knowledgeable in determining the root cause - gave informed explanation and cost estimate. I would definitely use and recommend them again for other services.

Brian was excellent!. We felt very safe with him and Carlos in our home. They had a very difficult job but got it done. We would recommend Brian to friends and family.

We hired Dupree based on an online search. We had no prior experience. Now that we do we will use Dupree whenever we need plumbing repairs. Tyrone Anderson was professional, and very respectful.

The whole experience was fantastic! I had bad luck with other plumbers, but Dupree answered the hpone right away, was polite and informative. The plumbers that came out, Steven and Rick, were on time, professional, personable and helpful, and did great work. 10/10 from now on, these are my plumbing guys!
