Have returned multiple times. We rescued a senior, and one of the groomers was so kind and gentle with our rescue knowing our rescue was so scared.

Dog friendly staff, great service, and reasonable prices. What more could you ask for?

I had to change groomers due to my dog having anxiety every time it was time to go to the groomers. And his anxiety was linked to a bad experience he had with a groomer. After seeing Kim my pup is much more relaxed (still not happy to get baths) when he goes to the groomers. Kim is patient, listens and great. We will continue to see her again.
Also the staff is very friendly and customer service is outstanding every time, we love Dunkin Dogs.

I took my dog here and although the staff was nice, I will not go back here. Not only is it severely overpriced (it was $50 for my Papillion when I typically pay around $30), but they did not remedy my situation. My results were not at all what I wanted with my dog; he looks like his head doesn't even belong on his body now. I called to very politely explain my concerns, and they suggested bringing him back in, but unfortunately the issue was not something that could be fixed since too much had been cut off. Their offer was for "5% off or $5 off" next time. I was floored at that especially considering that I had been extremely polite and understanding about them turning my gorgeous Papillion into a fluffy shaven mutt for almost double what I normally pay. I'll definitely find another groomer who knows their breeds a little better. It's a real shame that I wasted over $50 on this place.

Very good with our Yorkie. Somewhat more expensive but better than other groomers we tried. Nice selection of treats, food, accessories.

Wash, nail trim, and ear cleaning reasonably priced. Employees were great with our 10 month old 75 pound Staffy/Bully.

Great place with friendly staff, nice facilities and reasonable prices. I have been taking my Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Roxy, there weekly since I got her at 13 weeks old. She's now almost a year, and loves all the people at Dunk'n Dogs, (although she doesn't love her bath.) I love their shampoo system where the shampoo & water get mixed in the hose, then you can flip the switch and get conditioner out. Instead of taking 2 hours at home and getting a back ache, it takes me about 30-40 minutes to get her clean! I usually get one of the (very helpful) staff to trim her nails for me, and she has learned to stand still and not fight it anymore! I recently moved about 30 minutes away, but it's worth it to me to drive back ever 7 to 10 days!

Quick and easy spot to wash your dogs. Prices are fair considering you dont have to use your own washing supplies.

Super accommodating, helpful & friendly staff always help me unload and load my pups. We can usually get an appt within 24 - 48 hrs & They use great quality products (we have never had any skin irritation issues) & Their rates are reasonable & my rotties always look & smell great after a visit.

Our Schnauzer Murphy gets groomed a couple times a year. He always feels better and happier when he gets his "spa day"

They made my appointment work to make it in time for work. Goldie got a great cutt and smelled like blueberries. They were very nice and helpful

This place just keeps getting worse and worse every time I bring my fury family members here. The only familiar faces I have see here are the cashier and some other dykeish chick. It safe to say that I won't be going back any time soon. The place use to be so awesome.

I've been bringing my dogs to Dunk N Dogs for years now. Andrew is my favorite groomer for the pups. He takes great care of the dogs and always gives my little fur monster the best haircut. I'm forever a fan of Andrew and the staff at Dunk N Dogs!

They are always so cheerful and helpful with my golden. He hates baths and I have a bad back. They even tried to help when I couldn t find my phone with credit cards in it. The best!!

Erica went above and beyond with my best boy and I couldn't be more impressed! He was in desperate need of a shave that I had been putting off because of an infected paw.. she made him look amazing, but also took the time to carefully shave around his bad paw, and raised concerns to me about what she saw. Because of her I got it rechecked and determined it was cancerous. So thankful for the care and attention she showed, all while making him comfortable and look like the 10 year old pup he is! We go for the self-wash regularly, so happy to have a trusted groomer now too!

This place is by far the best place in San Diego! We ve taken our 2 year old cocker spaniel to so many groomers and every time we ve left disappointed and just irritated with how they treated him. But after the first visit at Dunkin dog we knew this was the place for him! We love all the staff there! Very professional and great with all dogs!!

Went their for my usual girl and someone else helped me but butchered the nails so bad that we had to go to the vet for an infection. I'd pass

Cheap and easy to use self wash. The blow dryers they have to dry your dogs with are strong and actually blow water out from the coat. Great place to wash your dogs.

I have been using Dunk'n Dogs for complete grooming service virtually since they opened for care of my Mini-Schnauzers, first Gus who passed of old age a bout 3 years ago, and now the pesky Sir Napoleon (Nippy), and have never had a single complaint or problem. Erica is wonderful with the dogs and does a beautiful job.

We are so happy we Found Dunk N Dog Wash. Thank you Billy our gentle giant is clean and his hair is always so soft. We choose here also because they have a walk-in shower and for a 130 pounds dog this is a must. They also carry a enormous variety of dog foods and treats. The place is clean and airy. And the most important welcoming team and great service with good price.

Andrew was the groomer that gave my dog a bath. She was so happy when she came out. Liked Andrew a lot that she tried to go back in with him. Never seen my dog so happy.

What an adorable little spot. Was staying on Coronado Island for the weekend and realized our puppers needed a bath . Saw this place while walking down the street and noticed they a wash your own dog station. Decided to give it a try as we did not feel like cleaning up the bathroom after doing the wash at home lol. What an awesome experience. For $16 I was provided everything needed to wash our pup. It also seemed like he enjoyed it more too. Maybe because we weren't spending a majority of the time trying to keep him in the bathtub. There was no one waiting to use the station so we got to take our time. (There is a sign suggesting 15 min if there are others waiting.) I totally recommend going here of you're looking for a stress dog washing experiance.

Really weird guy working there made me uncomfortable. Waited 25 minutes for him to come cut my dogs nails and the whole time he said weird things about my body and my marriage. At one point, he lifted his shirt up high enough to show his nipples to prove a point. I can wash my dog literally anywhere else and not have to deal with that; that's what I intend to do from now on. Don't contact me- I don't want you to make it right. Stop hiring guys who are creepy towards customers.

I don t know how they did it, but after they washed and deshed my husky, he literally started shooting out holographic rainbows. Great job!

Was recommended by our Vet from across the street.. over a year ago. They gave a discount for the referal(cool). I took my 78lbs Sheppard first time going to a groomer, they were wonderful, he was so happy and comfortable with the clipping and the crew. I had asked for special care in the cutting of his fur, they were very obliging. they cleaned everything. I have since then gone bi-monthly to wash all my dogs in the self serve. Love that they have everything there. The tall tubs easy in and out for large dogs, is very welcoming quality. I am planning on bringing them back to get their Spring / Summer clipping. The price is fair for what they do. The Service is very kind and comforting. I have recommended my friends, we go as a group, after play dates.

I took my dog Reggie there today (grooming appointment with Dena Haire) . I asked for her face and paws to be cleaned up (mentioned that I wanted to see her eyes again) and her legs and body shortened (I believe I said with scissors). I pointed out a patch of matted hair on her neck and said that if they had to cut that down I did understand. When I picked her up, my previously fluffy/curly dog was completely shaved to the skin with the exception of her tail and her ears. I don't remember exactly what I said, but I don't understand how it could have been interpreted as take 2 hours to completely shave down my dog.

Edit: They did refund the cost of grooming services and agreed that I should have been called before that was done after a discussion. While it does seem like my dog was well taken care of (e.g. her nails were well done), I would caution anyone leaving their pet here to be exacting in their specifications.

I ve been bringing my dogs here regularly for the past 8+ years. These guys are great! They are always gentle & really care about their customers dogs.

It's a very popular place, great selection of goodies for your pets. I was most interested in the self wash stations. I was impressed, good blowers, great soaps and condioners, and clean. Staff was very helpful too. I will be going there after our next Fiesta Island adventure!

I take my husky and shepherd/chow mix for the self wash and dry. It's way easier than doing it at home in a regular shower or tub, and I don't have to clean up the mess of hair after- just what sticks to me!

This guy is useless! My friend called and made an appointment with him to cut her dogs nails. The guy not only didn't show up, and didn't call to say he would be late or anything, When she called to find out where he was, his voice mail was full. Total disaster! Thanks jerk!

The only place in San Diego I can find that sells treatibles.

My wife and I needed a specialty brand of food and this place conveniently has it and and in many different flavors for my picky pup. My other dog eats too fast and they even sold dog dishes that help in slowing them down a little. Awesome little shop, great customer service.

My experience was, in a word, HORRIBLE!!
My poor poodle looks like a homeless, ratty dog, with a mini mohawk AND with 3 bloody razor cuts on his belly! Horrible!!

Dunk'N Dogs is a great Clairemont neighborhood place to wash your dog or let them do it for a little bit more. My beagles love the place! They also have a dog groomer if your pet child needs a trim.

I came here the first time because I have friends that come here and many of them had great experiences. I see the reviews as well, and most people seem very pleased. The first time I brought my dog, they did do a great job. I was happy. They listened to what I wanted as far as haircut style and other services. Maybe it was because I was a new client. However, the 2nd time I came in, I told my stylist I wanted a similar haircut as last time. I asked them if they remembered what they did last time and showed them a picture as a reminder. So when they said yes, I assumed they understood. They brought out my dog and he looked nothing like last time and his nails were not trimmed thoroughly. A couple of them were still curled. Anyways, I figured maybe they were just busy and it was a one off. I decided to come back in a 3rd time, I believe in 2nd chances. Plus I do like to support local businesses. I specifically mentioned to them that I thought the last haircut was too short and showed them a picture of what I actually wanted. I also said I wanted my dog s face hair to be a clean, even cut because they always give my dog a mustache. Then his hair grows back unevenly. Anyways, again they said they understood. My dog came out the exact same way as the time before, with a mustache on his face and his hair too short. I don t think I ll be going back unfortunately. It is time to find a new spot. Maybe they are too busy, short staffed, and things seem rushed so they don t listen to the clients as closely. I can t trust them with another grooming experience.

Hands down BEST grooming service I ve ever experienced. After recently moving to the area I was unsure of where to take my baby for her quarterly grooming appointments. They were able to get me in the very next day and did an absolutely phenomenal job!! We can t wait to go back and visit again!

Very friendly and super clean. I had booked the wrong appointment online and they were so helpful fixing it and fitting my dogs in for me. Definitely above and beyond. Prices are right within the average of anywhere else. And my dogs look amazing!

I have a very large special needs boy and they are amazing with him. Everyone is friendly, kind, and helpful. The cost is reasonable and the service is great!

This place is so awesome my dog literally gets excited when we go.

We usually go weekday evenings to use the self wash for our two mid size puppies and have only had good experiences. Around that time it s not too busy and the staff are very nice, will coach you through how to use the tubs, and check on you periodically to see if you need anything.

The only thing I don t like is that parking is difficult even during the slower hours because of the strip mall they are located in. Other than that, it s a terrific spot and definitely worth the money.
