WE STAY IN THE HOTEL FROM MAY 22 TO MAY 29, 2015 IN PREMIUN ROOM, NUMBER 54208, THE HOTEL EXPECTACULAR, ARE STRIVING TO THE MAXIMUM FOR YOUR GUESTS TO HAVE A PLEASANT, LAST STAGE THAT DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO CHOOSE SOME OF ITS EMPLOYEES ALREADY THAT WE MISSED 2 WATCHES AND A SILVER BRACELET THAT WERE STORED IN A PORTFOLIO INSIDE THE VALIJA WITH A PADLOCK, WE KNEW WHEN WE WANTED TO USE THEM, X SUPPOSED THAT IT WAS ALMOST TOO LATE IS A TRUE SHAME, I WOULD NOT RETURN NEVER. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

A hotel that makes you feel at home. 2.5 km of beach, and without fear of being wrong I can say that it is the best beach that can be found on the island. It is great attention, food, facilities, shows, daily recreation for adults and children. There is no complaint

Good hotel, I was in the 2021 carnivals and here is a summary of my stay:

1. THE HOTEL: It is 70% operational, the rooms are very comfortable, perfect air conditioning, cable TV, water 24 hours a day, everything is very clean and generally well. The two pools that work very well, have the lagoon for the pedal boat, and in general you get distracted, in the same way a beach bar, sunbeds, all good, only that the beach is something strong if children go.

2. THE FOOD: It is the weak point of the hotel, the food is not bad, but neither are they as good as 5 years ago in other hotels, or in this same hotel when it was Dunes; little variety, and not very good taste in some dishes, I would prefer an a la carte restaurant and eat better.

3. THE STAFF: Excellent service disposition, from the lobby to the bar staff, they are really very good at serving guests.

I recommend? Yes, would I go back? No, the stay is good, but it is not that I would return, I would rather try another.

I spent a week with my young children and had a great time, they should only be more aware of the cleanliness of the children's pool

At the time it was obviously an excellent place. Now the only redeemable is the good care of some people.

So cute! The area of the rooms we had to take a bus to go to the Hall and the beach within the complex! Very repetitive food, the best the beach bar. It happened to us with my husband that the security asked us to eat, which we proudly gave him, they exploit the people who work there! There where we saw the real disaster in Venezuela!

The price-value ratio of this hotel is second to none! Visit the Hotel, it will be a great experience!

The site highlights:
1.-Meals: they are complete, with good flavor and varied. For me, being a vegetarian, there was no problem.
2.-Attention: absolutely all the staff is really very good, courteous and helpful, my favorite being Mr. Domingo who is a waiter in the restaurant (he really is the soul of the hotel, very attentive, friendly and excellent professional). Daniel (reenactor) also stood out for his charisma and hospitality. Braulio made us laugh a lot, we will also remember him fondly.
3.-The beds in the rooms: super comfortable, large, excellent mattress, pillows and lingerie. The room is generally fine. The girls on duty every day made beautiful decorations with the towels (works of art capable of making a smile).
4.-The facilities in general: the complex is very spacious, the beach is very good (I agree with other opinions that it is careful, it has a lot of waves), the very beautiful pools and in short it has a lot of potential to offer more activities once all the jobs they are doing are finished.

Things that could improve:
1.-Night activities for adults: I do not know if it is because our stay was from a Wednesday (low season) to Sunday, that Sunday being part of the weekend of the beginning of Carnival, but only on Saturday we enjoyed a good activity night: drums on the beach and a game with women from the audience ...
2.-The televisions in the rooms: the image and audio were terrible.
3.-If you do not want to get the typical talk of the resorts (to subscribe; etc) do not force the guests to attend. The representative left me practically no choice when she told me that her boss would not allow me not to go. Either way, they weren't rude or extremely pushy in telling them that I wasn't interested.

And finally, for those who are going to visit: bring insect repellent !! The plague is unforgiving.
