Paid for 4 hours they stopped after 2.5 hours and tried to charge me extra for a very bad mix and mastering service. All this because I'm not known or on the radio so they think no one will care
Our studio is in Las Vegas and we have talent living in the city and are in need of a high end studio... Dubway is always hospitable to our talent and very well organized.. thank you all for being available to us and our talent!
They were very respectful of us recording for a podcast. They let anyone know of any issues. It's a very clean space, and the smaller booths are still very nice. Over-all and comfortable setting to record in.

I brought in five singers, two guitarists and a violinist for a song about immigrants separated from their families. This was a quick-put-together project, and with limited time, Sam Palumbo did first-rate audio engineering for us. He's incredibly adept at Pro-Tools. Most impressive watching him work so quickly and with his great musical ear.

The positive: The interns were nice and attentive.
The negative: For the price, this studio has some really poorly maintained equipment, and the engineers are not impressive (and seem to almost be afraid of doing anything that s not very specifically a routine). It s a shame because the big room is very beautiful, but the drum kits was terribly maintained and the skins looked and sounded so old. There are many other studios in Brooklyn that are charging the same price but offering so much more.
Was here to record for an upcoming web series. Very clean and organized. Staff was helpful throughout the day. Highly recommended.

Dubway is a studio gem because of it s wonderful space, equipment, and most importantly - its exceptionally talented producers and engineers. I found what I was looking for to make my twelve song studio album after a long time of shopping for studios and producers by interviewing and researching. They are very kind, they let me work with my vision and time frame, and they are very accommodating. Russell, my producer, is immensely talented, and he helped me so that I can bring out the best in me vocally. He worked so well with my bandmates and we had such a great time. I will definitely work with them again.

As a jazz artist, (composer and pianist), leading a quartet, Dubway met all my expectations of a first-class recording studio. Great piano, great space, and great , engaged staff and engineer. And, hey, it's affordable! A great choice.
I recently visited this studio and had a great time working with Christopher Burkins who was very patient and helpful ,amazing place and amazing staff and faculty.
There seem to be more unpaid interns than engineers and overall the staff were inexperienced and poorly trained in the extreme.

One of the last remaining studios from the 80's. Its third location and by far its best. Al Houghton and his team are fantastic and really know their stuff.
I m fairly certain this studio is being less than truthful about being SAG-AFTRA certified for COVID sanitary procedures. I could not find them on the approved recording studios list for either NY or LA.
Had a very bad recording experience there. My music was not properly mixed and mastered. Then the engineer cut the session early
Dubway is all about their professional environment and courteous staff. They make each project special and have a great attention to detail. Would recommend to anyone looking for audio services. Worth it.
