I purchased shoes on 1/19/2109 at 6:38p.m. At Stonecrest Mall in Lithonia Georgia on a rainy day. My son tried the shoe on in the store. I bought them, Manager who I learn later completed my transaction. I left the store. The next day I tried the shoe on my son again at home on carpet and figure we may need to go up a size. I didn t want to return back to Stonecrest Mall because that location isn t near my home. I called south DeKalb mall they didn t have the size I needed so I call Southlake Mall and they did. I go to southlake mall to exchange my shoe and I was told the shoe was dirty at the bottom and the assistant manager Tanisha I believe her name was refuse to exchange the shoes which I just purchased yesterday. I explain that, and her suggestion was for me to clean the shoe and bring them back. I disagree because I knew my son didn t wear the shoes. She also suggested I drive back to stonecrest to exchange the shoes. Which is nowhere near my home. I end up leaving southlake mall and headed to stonecrest. I arrived at Stonecrest and had a hard time as well. TAnisha the assistant Manager at southlake mall had already called the location saying I told her my son wore the shoes. Which I did not say. It was a rainy day in Georgia and if my kid, who is only 5, wore the shoes the bottom of the shoe would be more than just dirty. To make a long story short I was told by STonecrest assistant manager to come back tomorrow 1/21/2019 to speak with the manager. Remind you I drove to two location and as good customer service you ask me to return tomorrow? That s horrible customer service and inconveniencing the Customer who already drove to two locations. Another customer comes in stoncrest mall after me to exchange some shoes assistant manager barely checked the shoe. He open the box and closed it. I told him you didn t check his shoe at the bottom, I was told he saw the gentleman earlier that week and that he s a loyal customer. So loyal customer are more valuable then I?
My money spends just like a loyal customer money spends. I will not be returning back to purchase anything else from DTLR. Customer service at both locations was horrible, distasteful, unprofessional and still no solution. I ve wrote on DTLR Instagram page and made a post about not to support this company and I will continue until I get the best customer service I deserve.
