We stopped in on a whim after discovering an unrelated restaurant had closed. The restaurant is done up very nicely and the owner (who is there almost every night) has brought in a northern-style (New England) bar menu. I've grown to really love their classic whiskey sours and old-fashioned.

The service was great but the food was horrible considering we paid thirty dollars per plate. The wings were delicious, the salad was only ice Berg lettuce but not the one served at most restaurants, the steak was dry and the parmigiana was a tomatoe soup with nasty pasta and chicken. Will definitely consider an other place before coming here again.
The service was great and the staff was mostly friendly overall. However the steak was not top notch. It lacked flavor and considering the price I found it to be dissapointing. On a positive note the wings were delicious and defenitly full filled their value. Overall I would rate this place 3/5.
Poor quality for the price! This restaurant is competing with many others in the area. For the price, I would rather eat somewhere else. Staff was attentive. Place is dead on the weekends. Place is huge!! Seem to be way over staffed, more cutting up with servers than people to be served. Food could be fresher. Everything seemed to have been frozen before or was cooked.
Once again we enjoyed a fabulous buffet brunch at Drew's. While we love the day to day menu, and we have always had great food and wonderful service, today's Mother's Day buffet was the best yet. Besides the usual brunch buffet items, Eggs Benedict, lox and bagels, pancakes, bacon and sausage, there was the most wonderful beef with broccoli-rabe. It was the best beef I have ever eaten, and having been married to an Iowa farm boy for the past 30 + years, I have eaten a lot of beef prepared a multitude of ways. This beef was so tender, I cut it with my fork, but so full of flavor, I didn't really need the horseradish sauce. My fellow diners enjoyed the shrimp and oysters on the half shell, while I went back for seconds on the beef and sampled the pork loin. The pork was juicy (hard to do, now days with fat free pork) and very flavorfull.
You should visit Drew's any day of the week, but don't miss out on the brunch buffets. It's well worth the money
My wife and I ate at Drew's twice this week. 1st was for Vintner's Dinner with a large group of foodies. Each course was matched perfectly with a local wine. Drew was present (impressive) and introduced himself to each table. He also introduced his staff. Everything was top-notch. We returned 3 days later for Saturday brunch. My wife had the Fuhgeddaboudit pizza and I the pastrami on rye. As good as anything we've had in NY. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
The owner met us outside when we arrived and was extremely nice and informative. My mother was visiting from out of town and he joked with her if she drove a Harley from Daytona. We sat outside and were served by Garrett. Excellent service and the food was so good it melted in your mouth. Huge portions were served, enough to take home for a second meal. It was my birthday and my dessert was comped. The carrot cake was so delish and the portion could of fed four people. The wine list was extensive. First visit to this restaurant and I will definitely be going again.
Ceaser salad was served with shredded Ice berge lettuce(the same stuff you get on a burger at McDonalds), not romaine as it should be. All of our dinner entrees came out at different times, and the pizza was terribly burnt. The mussels my mother and I ordered were very tasty, but between the poor service, and improperly made foods i will not be returning.
My husband and I had our first date at this location 9 years ago when it was "Reggiano's". On our anniversary, my hubby brought me back to find it was now "Drew's American Grill". We were so glad we decided to come back. The food was excellent (I had the rack of lamb). I have food allergies and they were extremely accomodating! They went out of their way to make sure I ate well and safely. The atmosphere and decor is awesome and a perfect place for date night!
At the end of our meal, the owner, Drew came by to say hi. When we told him we dined there for the first time together 9 yrs prior, he scurried off to the kitchen and I could see him back there working away on a project. he not only brought out a TO.DIE.for Banana Pudding for my hubby but then made me a special "allegen free" dessert. (This was after we had paid out too). Such a nice gesture!
Because of our great service on March 11th, I brought my colleagues there tonight (3/21/13) and wow - incredible and consistent. Service was wonderful and so was the food. We had 14 people there and all were served promptly and with great atttention. We ordered everything from seafood, to steak....to salads and Lamb...ALL fabulous. No complaints heard from anyone. I am really surprised I haven't heard more about Drew's from friends. I am not one to write reviews, but thought those interested in a great date night restaurant would like a suggestion.
