Great staff at both locations, I personally prefer KOP . This is not a Dr. that is going to rush to judgment on your condition he takes surgery seriously and will try less invasive options before considering cutting you. He was recommended to me by another Dr. and I couldn't be happier with his practice.

Dr Valentino's practices are questionable at best....

Dr Valentino's practices are questionable at best. My mother felt very uncomfortable thinking he was scheduling unnecessary procedures to drive up her expenses. He got belligerent and threatened to clear her for work she was in no condition to be in. My mother's follow-up doctor and attorney were appauled when they reviewed Valentino's assessments. Dr Valentino is someone to be weary of.

I ve never done one of these, but today was my very first appointment with Dr.Valentino and I am compelled to share my experience. I was referred to him by my back doctor because I ve exhausted all conservative treatment for my Lumbar Injury and due to instability and progressive pain a spinal fusion is being recommended. I have been battling with this Injury since 2017. I was extremely anxious today and was worried that nothing could be done as I have been disregarded by other physicians. After 2 1/2 years of many appointments, therapies, and procedures Dr. Valentino has made me confident that I will feel better and that my quality of life will improve. From the second he walked into the room he made me feel comfortable and cared for. He looked me in the eye, validated what I feel, and expressed his understanding of my frustration of all I have been through. He actually went over my images with me and showed me what was going on which made it so much easier to accept that I need surgery. He took his time with me and patiently listened to my questions and answered honestly. This may not seem important to many but it s everything to me. Living in constant pain for over 2 years has done a job on me but to finally know that there is an end in sight has given me hope!
I am so grateful!
Sincerely,
Jeannie

Steven Valentino is a rubber stamp for the labor department. I had a work related injury and this is the guy they sent me to for a second opinion after my doctor determined it was a work related injury. So after a year of fighting for workman s comp due to a herniated disc, it took me an hour to get to the office, twenty minutes in the waiting room and the exam room. He looked at me for 5 minutes and never looked at the mri or X-ray results I brought with me. He determined that my injury was not related to work and on the way out actually said they didn t pay me to treat you. So after a year of healing, I ve since returned to work, this guy is saying he doesn t believe I have a work related injury making this fight even harder despite the fact he examined me after I healed. ****I do not recommend him****

Worst experience EVER! My surgery didn't go as I expected. 4 months later and I have the same pain I had before my surgery. Was out of work 3 1/2 months and couldn't afford to pay any of my bills not even the copay that was pushed in my face not long after my surgery. Because I couldn't afford to pay I was denied a follow up and or a discharge letter to see someone else. I was rudely hung up on by the unprofessional Michelle, the so called financial worker. She was VERY inconsiderate and disrespectful. I will never recommend this office to anyone. Dr. Valentino was good but to allow such business is awful. Love the other workers. NEVER AGAIN, SURGERY WAS POINTLESS!!!! My spine, neck, and left arm still hurts!

Worst Experience....I took my wife for consultation for her lower back pain and after a wait of 15-20 minutes from our actual appointment time, he came in and asked couple of questions and just said to go for chiropractic. He is not even looking at the MRI reports that we have. The information he gave can also be found in Google. I felt he is running the office just for Money.
Before going to this Dr, we went to a Dr in Jeffersonville hospital and he is nice in explaining the problem. Even Rothman institute Dr is good in explaining the issue.

We thought he is good, but no way close to other Dr's in the vicinity.

I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Love Dr. Valentino and his staff. Been seeing him for two months for a work related injury and I thought I would never work again and be stuck on disability but now I know I am ready to go. Ready to work and live without pain. Love the staff. You can tell they love working for such a fine doctor.
