The worst service I have ever met in Europe in the buffet restaurant of this hotel, no refill of the meals after just 1 round, and the restaurant staff never clean our table or pick up the used plates, I don t know if it s because we are oriental group tourists? And the food in that restaurant was also a disaster! Otherwise, the room and bed is okay and the staffs at the front desk is friendly. Buffet 1F buffet !!

Beautiful, clean and friendly. spacious and well heated rooms. Historic mountain hotel of the beginning of the century but refined and with renovated and modern rooms. A curiosity: in room 320 that will not be rented at the beginning of 1900 died a suicidal woman during the honeymoon. Lady Gray, as the woman was named, apparently still lives in the hotel and has been spotted twice by the staff and a hotel manager near the stairs and reception.

My God, people can complain and rating this hotel so poorly. Large and nice hotel. Nothing to fault either the cleaning, the rooms or the staff. Some people are obviously never satisfied and are basically the kind of people you don't want to become friends with.

We were there in the autumn holiday. The children enjoyed it. Me and my daughter have been with you several times on two Christmas holidays. Kids love the pool

Room 107 had their TV on pretty loud and the reception wasn t really able to do anything about it. Expected better.

In the evening, from the balcony, you can see the stars. The temperature of getting up in the morning has reached zero. The trees outside the window are covered with a thin layer of hail. It is so exciting.

The hotel outside seems reasonable. The rooms are shocking. The mother of maybe one star. Low maintenance. Heating problem, really not recommended !!

This hotel has silver fish. I woke up in the morning and went to the bathroom, I saw several silver fish are wandering around. Be careful when you are unpacking your luggages at home when you return.
But the hotel is beautifully decorated. And it's location is great.

Worn hotel and pool closed until around July 20th. In the sports pub, only 0.33 beer was bought at a too high price. Had been out and walked in the mountains and looked forward to both a bath and a cold one.

Stayed here for work. The hotel is large and historic in character. And seems very cozy. The room I had wore was a bit worn. A lot of creaking in the floor and listening from the hallway. But no worse than that I got to sleep.

The Sauna is a joke small and they turn it off long before 20.00 and they can't extended the timer. The room was decent but a bit "old" the floor heating did not work. I also had problem with the hot water in the showers. The food was ok but to salty.

A fashionable, venerable great hotel building with a lot of soul and culture. Very cozy, great rooms and very good breakfast. Very welcoming and service minded staff.

There are animal specimens, old furniture, etc. everywhere, and there is an artistic sense. The level of the chef needs to be improved, so the bread and butter can be full. The oven with the toast should be placed with the bread.

Was only here to swim. Was a nice experience at a good price NOK 50. per pers. The staff was nice and attentive. The pool was nice and clean

Old venerable hotel, tired room, good breakfast, summer buffet for dinner, which cost more than the tasted, small selection, cold food that should have been hot etc, feel they have a job to do here, before I return.

Fantastic service and fantastic food in the restaurant on the 2nd floor. A hotel of its own!

Very beautiful hotel but the service is quite low and breakfast is really poor...

Nice hotel, centrally located but can fix a bit of worn room.

Heard a lot of good about this place, but the rooms lacked airconditioning and the breakfast was very ordinary.

The only thing that was a bit bad was the dinner itself, we ate fried cod with mashed potatoes, the side dishes themselves were good, but mashed potatoes and vegetables were cold, so there will not be a full point.

Tired hotel, but gets a little plus for history and style. Good location

Nice and spacious hotel inside impressive. Well equipped with swimming pool and sauna. Good standard breakfast. The dinner buffet was more disappointing, especially the hot dishes with little taste.

Perfect place if you are interested in cozy, beautiful, friendly places having historical and nice architecture as well.
