All around poor service, if I can even call it that as nothing actually got done. I called to have my air-conditioner looked at, expecting as their website says on its home page "Free quotes before any work is done" but the man casually told me today would be a $99 charge as he was leaving. I was told on the phone afterward that I "should've asked" if I wanted a free quote. They then rescheduled the repair on me 3 times and finally ended it with a no show. They didn't bother to call and let me know they weren't coming. Incredibly unimpressed.

Hot water tank died, called them on a Sunday evening had someone at house Monday morning at 7:30 am. Less then 24 hrs later new hot water tank expertly and professionally installed. very satisfied with response and service.
Today we had heating maintenance done on our furnace. The technician, Nehemiah Graham, was very courteous, thorough and knowledgeable. Doyle Plumbing is our go to company for plumbing and now heating and cooling. Nehemiah also signed us up for their monthly Heating Protection Plan to protect us in the future.
I had two major issues and Mike Page responded to the call within the hour and immediately made us feel at ease and knew exactly what to do. He was very professional, and when / if I ever need to call a plumbing company again it will be Doyle, and specifically Mike Page!!
I chose to use Doyle because of the positive reviews on google! Ryan Clark was very pleasant and professional. He gave me options for my furnace to repair or replace. He explain everything to me in a way that I would understand because I don t speak HVAC Thanks to Ryan for his great service.
I m not a customer but I e dealt with their drivers on the road several times! They seem like they either don t know how to drive or just don t care about the safety of others! 2 times I ve watched them almost cause a crash and just today one of their drivers backed out onto the highway (which is against the law as your only supposed to move your car backwards if it s safe to do so) and I had to swerve around them! Hope your qualities better than your driving!
I had a new sump pump installed last year and just at my Aunt's home and there is water everywhere but where the sump pump is. Who in their right mind puts a sump pump in a higher area than the rest of the basement. Duh!
I've used this company multiply times for different properties, they have always been on time and very knowledgeable answering any questions I have even if they aren't the smartest questions. Greg is very helpful, efficient and courteous. They've fixed multiply problems with our boilers, heating systems and have installed AC's. 100% would recommend to everyone.

Doyle Plumbing, Heating & Cooling installed our master bathroom tub in December and it leaked into our brand new basement. It took them three visits and over a month to properly install a new tub in a new home. To finally fix it, they had to rip out drywall in our brand new basement. We sent the company an email saying we would provide an estimate for the drywall repair and asking that they cover the cost. They did not respond to our email and have not reached out to us with an apology or remedy to the damage they caused. We used the company for all of our plumbing and heating in a brand new home build, and not only has their work been sub-par, they make no effort to fix their mistakes. Absolutely abysmal customer service.
I dont write bad reviews but the service my husband and I experienced from Doyle's Plumbing was absolutely appalling. We understand these professionals give a window of time for when they plan to arrive but the plumber was unreasonably late. When he did show he gave us half his attention and was here for a period of 10 mins and gave us a " I think" this is the problem with your septic system. He did not give us a chance to ask questions- just stated a possible solution of a hydro flush which costs $3000. He then left abruptly to attend to another costumer and we were left scratching our heads as to what to do next. No chance to talk with the plumber to fully understand what is happening.
We had to have another plumber come out and assess the situation and they were able to dedicate 15 minutes to explain the problem and our options. Disappointed we have to pay Doyle's for low quality work but happy we received good service elsewhere. First and only time using Doyle's for our plumbing needs- a similar message we heard from others.
This company are quick to answer calls and do the work.They are very expensive and do not stand behind their work. Had to call them back after short time for faulty equipment and had to pay all over again. Will never call again. Do not recommend this company.
Ryan Clark was the technician that did the install of part to repair my Regency gas free standing stove. He took it apart and cleaned everything.....works like brand new, I would totally recommend Doyle Plumbing and Ryan. This is the second time they have got me out of a jam. I will always call them first!!!
We can't say enough good things about our Doyle Plumbing experience. When I called after business hours Christine was more than helpful and realized the urgency of our problem. Used Doyle on several jobs but service appears to have gone downhill. Last repair didn't stop problem and based on their response they were more interested in collecting their account then satisfying the needs of the customer. Won't use them going forward

Greg assessed our issue with furnace after hours, took his time it was very late. He was not in hurry to leave , as he wanted to make sure he had the right diagnosis ! It was well after 9pm, he had already been working since 7 am. He came back and installed the part needed. We have dealt with one of the best at Doyle. And again Doyle to the rescue! Our old jet pump finally died. Thanks to Len and Dan from Doyle plumbing, we were back up and running with a new submersible pump in no time. As with any other dealings we have had with this company, they are quick, reasonably priced and clean everything up before leaving. Another stellar job guys.
We can't thank Jesse and the team at Doyle enough for their work in identifying and resolving an issue that came to our surprise with the purchase of our first home. Jesse was timely, upfront and caring. He laid out exactly what the problem was and the best course of action to take. We recently had propane heaters installed - one in each garage. The Doyle Plumbing crew were truly great - it took two days for the install (as quoted) with the crew working into the evenings to get the job done. They were professional, knowledgeable (answered all of our questions as the work was being done), respectful and pleasant to work with. On the second and final day they took the time to clean all the areas they worked in, even wiping down the ceiling, doors and walls that became smudged during the process (I think my ceiling is cleaner now than before the job). Can t say enough about the whole process, co-ordination, work and professionalism of all involved. Thank you Darrin and crew for a job well done. (If I sound a little enthusiastic I agree ... sadly, excellence, it seems, is unusual these days.)
Greg and the Doyle team did an excellent job of converting a furnace, hot water tank and air conditioner from oil to propane! They were very professional, knowledgeable and hard working. They put down drop sheets where they had to walk through the house and cleaned up any debris that were left.
Also, the quality of their work was perfection! They definitely care about the work they do!

Purchased a gas range. Charged $150 to disconnect the range and charge $150 to connect the new range a day later. Felt ripped off. Advised that was their minimum charge per visit. Good bye...gone elsewhere

Greg Weir arrived on time today and installed a new thermostat. He then explained our entire heating system and the options that were included in our floor heating system. It was a pleasure having someone so knowledgable about HVAC. The entire company is excellent!
I've had many jobs completed by Doyle Plumbing, and varying issues with them.
The techs themselves are always friendly and usually arrive on time. That being said they typically do not have the tools they require, even when you've told the dispatch to pass on what they would need. Even when it's a return call to a place they've been to multiple times. They don't always fix the problem as they've assured you they have - which means another call, and another truck arriving unprepared. They've left my tenant's apartment unlocked when they assured me they would lock up once they left. They say they'll give you quotes on different jobs and then do not follow through.
The lack of customer service from the office is ASTOUNDING. None of the staff are allowed to give out the manager's direct line (I was told this specifically) - and it's very clear why after dealing with them for over a year. The managers do not want to hear about the many issues with their company.
The lack of communication to well paying customers is beyond frustrating. After you voice your frustrations, but still move forward with their company with an almost $5000 job, their AR department will then harass you for payment less than one week after you've received the invoice.
Once I asked for a letter stating that damages to neighboring property would be covered by them and this company could not even supply me with a properly edited and grammatically correct letter - not even on a letterhead. Hoping I wouldn't say anything and that the one paragraph word document with no signature wouldn't actually hold up if any damages did occur.
They tell you they'll call you back - but they don't. They tell their staff they DID email and call you - when in fact they didn't.
TL/DR: Save yourself a million headaches and go elsewhere.
Used Doyle Plumbing to replace my rental hot water tank with new one purchased through them. The technician doing the work, Nehemiah, was very polite and knowledgeable. He took pride in his work, valves installed were perfectly parallel to each other . Nehemiah told me what he was going to do before he proceeded with work so I would be satisfied . The installation was well done and gas, water piping as well as ventilation looks good. Nehemiah made sure I was happy with work before he left. Overall , a good experience with this company.
When placing my service call, they gave me a date and approximate time. The serviceman calls when he's on his way so you know when he will arrive, which is within the time frame given. Serviceman is neat and professional in appearance, explains exactly what he's doing and cost, and makes it so easy from start to finish especially when you yourself have a busy schedule. We recently had the shower control valve replaced which required making a hole in the wall to get at the valve. When work was done I was extremely impressed and pleased asto how the hole in the wall was repaired and the ath room cleaned up. The shower now works beautifully and i don"t even have to do any painting. Great job!
We have an early 20th century shower and tub. Len from Doyle Plumbing was able to diagnose and create a solution. He took a pipe part back to the shop, made the necessary repairs and came back to install it. He was efficient, effective and friendly. Great job Len! Thanks for being so professional.
Wow, do I feel bamboozled. I am a first time home buyer and wanted to find a reputable heating and cooling company to keep in my rolodex and preform some initial services on our furnace.
At first glance I thought they were great. The tech told me I could sign up for their maintenance program and receive a discount, I was reluctant given covid and limited funds and he said even if I wanted to use the discount on that one visit and cancel afterwards I could at any time; the only reason I decided to hand over my credit card. Yes, my bad I didn't read the iPad but I trusted the tech and what was being told to me by a representative of the company.
Then, I had another visit to have our fireplace looked at, the tech was able to get it working with no repairs so he said he wouldn't be doing up an invoice, then a few days later I receive a bill for over $100. Now, haven't been lied to twice I ask to be removed from the maintenace program and have the accounts staff referencing terms and conditions that were not presented to me, I'm stuck with this unethical company for one year. I wasn't provided a copy of this contract until this dispute, I was given a small trifold brochure.
Super shady. Super unethical. Perhaps making a complaint with better business bureau is my next step.
We have dealt with Doyle Plumbing now for the past ten years. They have looked after all of our home comfort products. Doyle have replaced our Old oil furnace and we switched to propane They also looked after the removal of the old oil tank replaced our water system and hot water tank. Doyle also installed a propane furnace in our garage and even hooked up our propane barbecue. These guys come through with flying colours on all fronts. They are easy to deal with,more than competitive and very friendly. We would not trust our home comfort needs to any other business!!! Don Switzer

$1500. to replace a $200. pressure tank. Then tell me my pump was probably going to go soon. Seriously. Don t use Doyle s. It s all about sales not service.
I had a UV water purifier which was alarming even after installing a new UV lamp bulb. According to the owners manual this means a power supply problem. I attempted to contact the original installer and found that the company had been bought out by Doyle. I described the problem, and they sent out a tech and charged me $150 to tell me I needed a new power supply ( which, of course, I already knew) A couple of visits and another $700 later they installed a new power supply, which promptly exploded ( yes, actually) leaving me with no water and a house filled with the smell of burning plastic, and the original brand new UV bulb destroyed ( another $170) After a water free day, they sent someone out to bypass the system and give me water - sulphur smelling, non pure water, but at least water. The tech noted that the power supply that I had just bought was now useless to me as I now need a whole new system, and referred me on to the manager, Len. It took another 3 days and several phone calls to get a quote for putting in a new system, that was to include a discount due to the $1000 this had already cost me. The estimate was for an additional $1200, which coincidentally was the same as a quote that I had already obtained from another company that didn't include an alleged discount. So, I pointed this out and was referred back to Len. He hasn't returned my call. Summary - I'm out more than $1000, my water is worse than before, and I have a power supply that is at least useless to me, and possibly (probably?) faulty. I'm in Haliburton. I'm getting quotes from the Pump Shop, and Gull River plumbing. Hope that works out better. Very sad to have lost Highland plumbing. They were great.
Addendum - they did eventually come and fix it, for not much more money than it would have cost to do it properly in the first place, though I had developed another problem, and there were mistakes and poor communication with that as well, and it wasn't dealt with. On the plus side, they did make an attempt to make it right, but there were too many issues for me to make them my first choice in the future.

We called late Thursday Afternoon, our well was not supplying water, the receptionist assured us that they would be available next day, and be there first thing Friday morning. As promised the Service technicians arrived promptly Friday morning and resolved our well water issue. I am renovating my condo in Haliburton and Doyle Plumbing in Minden has been doing the work for me. Today, they installed two new toilets and I can say without a doubt that the service was excellent. The two installers, Ryan and Matt did the job extremely well. So polite, efficient (done in less than an hour) organized, and tidy. I had a real gusher in terms of a leak in the basement. Truth be told, it was probably going on for some time, but I didn't really notice it. When I did notice it, and tried to fix it, I failed miserably and was a bit concerned from the 3 or 4 litres of water that was leaking every hour or so. I called around and Doyle Plumbing, Heating & Cooling were the first to properly get back to me. The woman who served me over the phone was calm despite my slight panic and was able to arrange for plumbers within an hour.
Paul and Jason were kind, courteous and worked very quickly to fix the leak. I honestly have no idea how much I should be paying for this kind of a service, it was an emergency call on a Friday night, but I would say the what I paid was both worth it and not excessive.
Excellent overall, I have plans for a bit of work in the upstairs bathroom within a year or so, you're the first on my list to be called.

Our air conditioner stopped working in the heat wave. Doyle fit us in the very next day. They could not provide an exact time (this was an emergency fix, not a planned appointment) however they called that morning to provide a better time estimate and called again when the tech was on the way. Greg Weir solved our problem, answered all of our questions, was very professional and best of all fixed our air conditioner! Extremely pleased with our service. We have been calling Doyle for service for two years now and will continue to do so.

I'm very happy with Shane and John's work May 10th 2019. Several pipes had bust over the winter in our cottage. They were kind and assured me everything was going to be okay. The job I had stressed over was competed without issues. I highly recommend Doyle's team of professionals.
If I could leave less than one star to write a review I would. This company is the biggerst rip off we've ever dealt with. My inlaws were having water pressure problems and discoloured water was also coming from their taps. Doyle said they would need to replace their pressure tank and replace the media in their brand new water softener. They quoted them $1000 (labour included) for the pressure tank and $1600 (labour included) for the media for their water softener. My inlaws contacted us to let us know about their quote. I knew they were being ripped off because it didn't make sense that those items needed to be replaced, as well as at that cost. I had my inlaws contact our honest plumber (who is out of their service area, but went anyways) so he could give them a second opinion and second quote. My plumber ended up fixing their problem rather than replacing (as nothing NEEDED to be replaced) and the total cost them $160.00. If you do decide to get a quote from these guys, beware and get a secondary quote from another company.
We had a sump pump emergency very early in the morning. A quick call to Doyle and Dustin and Josh were dispatched to our rescue. They solved the problem and installed a backup pump, which I thought was impossible. Within the hour it was operational. Now we have peace of mind. Dustin and Josh were courteous and competent explaining the installation upon completion. We couldn't be more satisfied. Thanks Doyle for another job well done!
My ancient water pump was making noise and was needing replacement..from the time I called the office to job well done was 1 day. If only all service people were like Logan and John - professional, polite, pride in their work. The cost was very reasonable with good warranty on parts and labour. 5 star.

Called Doyle Plumbing and they sent out Dan & josh to unclog our sewer. They cleared the drain and also found the issue that our previous plumber hadn t found because they never camera the drain. They showed us the roots in the drain and then set us up to have our sewer replaced. Amazing service and great guys Our new plumbers moving forward!!!

Greg and Adam came yesterday to install our new Napoleon A/C unit and we could not of had a better experience. Our boiler broke down and we had no heat or hot water as a result. We called Doyle and they came to assess promptly and indicated that our boiler needed to be replaced. It is only 7 years old, and this was hard to believe. They came back quickly with a full replacement quote of $8000 the next day, but we had also asked for a repair quote. This did not come for days, and again, we had no heat or hot water so we called another company and we had a full repair within 4 hours of our call, and we are running strong. I don't trust Doyle, and since this experience, I've had many who have heard my story say that they have heard the same from others. Beware. Also, despite taking their sweet time coming back with the repair quote, which they claimed to be the supplier's delay (the same supplier that our repair person got the parts from), they called after I let them know we had our repair taken care of elsewhere as they were too slow and left a rude message demanding that we return the call before 5:00. Hurry up and wait.
Ryan came out to troubleshoot and fix our well this morning. Very impressed with his professionalism and vast knowledge on the plumbing field. Would 100% recommend them to anyone and will continue to be a reoccurring customer!
Our 9 year old hot water tank broke down so we called Doyle's Plumbing and they sent 2 young professional men (Ryan and not sure of the other fellow's name) out to replace old with new, the very next morning. They removed the old tank plus another old one that has been sitting in the basement all these years and cleaned everything up. The job was done within an hour. Took a chance on a company I have not used in the past. Rough in for a gutted century home. Received a quote which was very reasonable. Job was professionally completed a week later.

After Saturday's warmth, we noticed that the temp in the house started dropping on Sunday. We called Doyle's on Sunday night and they had a tech here before lunch on Thanksgiving Monday. Jake was very professional, clearly explained the issue the furnace was having and got us up and running again while we wait for the replacement part to come in.

Following a fault on my boiler (the radiators came on full on one of the hottest days of the year!), at my rental property, I called Doyle Plumbing, having used them before with no issues, and they came out exactly as promised. I needed a new boiler and they had it all installed within a few days, very efficient, very professional and not only did they created a work of art, they left the area cleaner than when they arrived!. The house is a century home and they had to join it to an existing radiator system which is probably getting on for 100 years old. The office staff I have spoken to on the phone were also very courteous, professional and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending Doyle Plumbing...
