It's ok if all you play is slots. No tables of any kind

They had na handicap capbable any thing,roads walkways enter ,exect.nothing I pushed my brother .who weights more than me.through rocks dirt and cars and people.it felt unorganized.i went ten or so years ago and .well in my opinion.was different.i hate to use those words .how about it's like the same but in a different dimensions.everthing looks the same ,until you take a closer look.but overall I had a good time with the family and and friends

The security there is ridiculous. If you need to go to the bathroom for any reason make sure your looking over your shoulder cuz they will stereotype you n make sure you know your only allowed in the restroom for five to ten minutes or they will be calling police and having you arrested. Ha at least that's what I was told n all I was doing was washing my hands.

the live racetrack is seasonal otherwise it's all OTB, and the casino is slots only gaming which isn't really my thing. the bar and lounge are the best part about this place and they throw some pretty big party events here throughout the year.

Nice bar and food spot too many homeless people asking for cigeretts.

Love my racing. Wish air conditioning issues on smoking north end could be remediated. Could an easy west wall be erected?

It's a casino....a casino like all the rest. Spend lots of money and leave with empty pockets. Haha These places make millions a week.

Downs casino is a Nice little place if you want to see in the city and go to a casino.

It took them two hours to service the machine I was using and on top of that the entire staff was standing over me like I was the one who broke it

This casino didn't give me that feeling of wanting to hang around, seems small and with relatively few machines, but has a decent size buffet restaurant.

I never ever win @ the downs. I just go for entertainment.

The worst casino in Albuquerque. They rig there machines , you walk in with 200.00 , an you walk out broke , they RIP the local people off. An smile when they do it. No bonus they tell you people win . When? Nothing but sad looks, they take the odds away.someone should report them to the gaming commission.. but would that help, ? Not a happy place even the employees will tell you dont come back .....you will never win , you ask them a question about it an they start questioning you, stay away people.. go to vegas...

I wasn't allowed in recently due to the fact that I only have a paper copy of my driver's license but it was very nice when I last visited a few years ago. Small but nice.

They used to be a five star when it opened now they done hit as much...

Nice place. I was surprised the horse race distance was so short. Not used to that. The casino was not good because they pump a perfume smell into it and it gave me a headache. Lasted 5 minutes.

New no backpack rule keeps, alot of people away, everyone from out here travels , use a backpack to keep our wares, this place does not give us a place to store our bags , they just don't let us in ..even Walmart has lockers, I used to go here with no problems..with my backpack

The people who work at the downs are unknowledgeable rude and could take a lesson in customer service and also how to tell the difference between a fake and real id there machines are messed up buttons missing that kinda jazz i would not recommend this to anyone plus there Are predators there that Are looking and watching for people that are getting winnings and you know trying to get out the door and they have females that are watching and then couple of males strong arm them and rob them later so just be careful

I miss the old downs. I actually used to win there.

My slot machines had two paper jams on two different machines and the techs take a LONG time to come help. This is the only casino that I have encountered paper jams at. I will say employees were friendly though.

I went into the casino bar to watch football not the race track.bartenders are great. The food was basic nothing special.
People ask when they have live racing. I'm not sure , but I know they do. You would have to call the downs or pull it up on The Downs Racing Schedule.

I like the food prices and of course the staff is friendly and helpful. The casino could use more cleaning staff and maybe security because of its location the lounge needs more sitting space on the live music nights.

I'm in Albuquerque to watch my brother participate in the Senior Olympic Games. We went to casino on 6/15 and I was stopped by one of their security team ( who looked and dressed like a bum) who demanded to see my ID. I asked why and he stated I looked like someone who assaulted one of his co-workers and he had the right to check anyone's ID. I complied and he checked my ID and walked away. Very unprofessional. I for one will not be returning to this casino while in town.

Good place to watch some football. They have the Sunday Ticket. Staff is nice and prices are reasonable.

Typical ABQ casino vibes. All it needs really is game tables and a hotel.

The night I went it was the 80s party I think that's what it was it was real good service for poor

They did a great job on renovations and the open air grandstand is awesome for summer night races. It's a cool way to hangout without having to spend too much. Betting on races can be pretty inexpensive, dollar bets and still feel invested in the outcome.

I think it's a shame Albuq invested Money into building this new Casino..only for it to look like a "DUMP" in a very short time..The Front Patio "FILTHY" needs to be scrubbed & power washed...we stayed for 10 mins. Some of the slot machines were dirty w/cigarette ash& spilled drinks...To top that off !! Some IDIOT THAT WAS CLEARLY "strung out" had the nerve to ask us for money!! This is NOT THE PLACE YOU WANT TO GO FOR YOUR FUN!!!...Just plain disgusting!!!..NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT !!

I never been here but, the traffic at 3pm on Louisiana it is horrible i just think that the should made another safe entrance to this place.
