Not usually time to write reviews for us over here at the Wrangler Shop. But when a business provides the type of service we received from Douglas Lumber they deserve to be recognized. Starting from the great phone service on our first call to Tim M and then followed up on by Henry. They treated us like we've known each other for years. So much different from a normal experience at the big box stores. The delivery came and again another great guy shows up and went out of his way to be certain he did whatever he could to satisfy us. (Saved us a lot of work). I called around and got 6 estimates for the product we needed and they were not quite the cheapest (but close). But combined with their stellar service I won't be shopping around anymore Douglas Lumber will be supplying us for the rest of our building plans. Thanks for every thing.

Great experience and customer service. I walked in and was greeted within a couple of minutes. I needed some doors ordered and was in and out of there within 15 minutes. Picked all my options and goods were priced competitively and delivered in 4 days! What a refreshing change from Home Depot or Lowes. I tried to order these doors from them but what an exercise in frustration! I'm a homeowner so I don' usually go to building supply warehouses but I'll use definitely use Douglas again.

The place has a lot of wonderful things. I felt like I was in a candy store. However, I walked and walked around the place and not one person acknowledged me. Employees at desks never even looked up. Made my way to the lumber and there was no signage to direct you where you wanted to go. One young man did say hello to me. I asked where the pressure treated lumbers was. He directed me, but no one offered help. There were no prices on anything in the yard. After being frustrated, walking around aimlessly, I decided to leave. Apparently, they do not want my business. I went elsewhere.

Amazing staff great top of the line products and the best customer service in the biz. I buy all my home building products here. I would highly recommend.

I want to write about our outstanding service. We has purchased french doors for our home and several months later our lock did not work. When I came in, the service associate and manager quickly addressed the issue and order the part. It came quickly. The service manager, Ron came personally and repaired the lock that afternoon. He even spent the time to fix a problem with the screen door from its installment. Overall, he did an outstanding job in customer service. I would highly recommend Douglas Lumber!

Great selection and fantastic customer service. The showroom is pretty big and their kitchen/flooring departments are one of the best around. If your considering this place, then give it a try. They always go the extra mile and help figure out good and affordable materials for the project.

Can't believe there are negative reviews, but, understand that many people may walk in and expect more of a big box experience. I am not a builder but own real estate and have an idea of what I am doing and what I want. Call these people, they are polite, cordial and very helpful. My guy was Frank who is semi-retired now and my new salesman is Isaiah. Couldn't be happier. And, unlike big box, they don't kill you on delivery and again, all are smart and know their stuff, again, unlike big box. Usually deliver same day. Awesome company.

I can't imagine a more inhospitable and aggravating place to shop. The front employees are a combination of disinterested and rude. The prices are high. The layout of the store is ridiculous since you have to park in the front, walk to the back desk to place an order, go back out to the front to get your car, then drive to the back to pick up your items. When there, the disinterested and rude service turns to outright irritable and crude, where you are being served by a guy who clearly hates his job, has no interest in serving you, and swears likes he's been in his local biker bar for hours with a dozen+ Buds in his belly. This is the worst of all worlds. Shop at your own risk!

Horrible service. Ordered the wrong hardwood on my client's behalf and decided not to take responsibility for their wrong order. Now we have the wrong hardwood in the whole home and no one wants to take responsibility. Stay far away.

It is hard to find experts. I went to Douglas Lumber with a dozen questions - excluding follow-ups - which should take a total of about ten minutes to answer if you know your subject. The four people I spoke to all tried, to varying degrees, to answer questions but none were masters of their craft. The first question took over an hour and the next two (which were abbreviated) took another 20 minutes, so I had to skip the rest. I left feeling bad that I wasted their time asking home construction questions they did not know how to answer.
On a different subject, about half of all displays are broken, wobbly, filthy or simply not operating. Someone needs to manage better.
Parking was excellent.

I have purchased a majority of my building materials from Douglas for a number of years now. The staff always goes out of their way to help, deliveries are always on time, pricing has always been competitive. Great group of people. I highly recommend giving them a shot with your next project.
