SCAMERS: I have been in contact with Wendy Sanders and Ariel for a rental in Great Neck. They ran my SSN report without my consent and also misused my credit report. Of course they did not rent me place. I am considering legal action against company and these two individuals. This company is at losing, misleading. STAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND THESE PEOPLE.

We not only had to pay a "move out fee" of $300 (nothing more than a money grab, but whatever it was in the lease), but also a security deposit of $250 to ensure no damage has been done during the move out. No damage was done. It has been 6 weeks and I cannot get a call back or an answer where our money is. Disgraceful.

This property mgmt company is terrible. Their real estate agents push you to move in early because "the owners wouldn't let you move in at a later date." They harass you to get the lease sign asap and demand for rent and security deposit asap. Meanwhile, you expect the apartment to be move in ready after all is said and done. BUT NO, appliances are broken and needed to be fixed. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE PRIOR TO MY MOVE. Secondly, repairs also needed to be done, and they're still not done prior to my move. WTH did you force me to move in so early if the apartment isn't move in ready! Douglas Elliman, I will never recommend you to other people.

This is the worst property management company I ever met. They overcharge my common charge. I emailed them several times one year ago. They not only no reply my email, but charged me more in next year. I tried to call them, but they never picked up phone. It looks like they never exist in the world, except the time when they send bill to me. This company is very irresponsible. If possible, I will recommend to change them out of our condo in the next board meet. It is so terrible!

My nephew is a honorable clean cut individual. And LYNETTE GONZALEZ from Human Resources should be terminated. She lied to my nephew on numerous occasions over the phone about getting him employment. Then, he filled out paperwork; & she still won't assist him. She rather hire her own people or persons that don't speak English instead. This matter should be brought to the Owner's attention, NYS Labor Dept, & National Labor Relations Board. When this issue is reported to a person like KAREN CHESLEIGH by e-mail, it falls on deaf ears.

Terrible experience with DE: I had to cancel the purchase of an apt managed by this company, but the move in fee of $500 had been collected by the RE agent. Since November 2019 I have been trying to get the refund. Either my calls remained unanswered or there was no follow up. I am still trying. Very frustrating to deal with this company!

1, The property management is over power and he can do what he wants..

2, the House rule saids owners only allow 20% wood or tile and 80% have to be carpet!
But he s allowed more than half owners having the 100% wood floors!
Why we need to fallow the rules?

3, if he likes you or friends with you then you don t need to fallow any rules because he will give you many chances you want and you will never get any Violation letter because he giving another people the worming leather for the first time and many times you wants ...
But if you are not friends of him then he will give you the Violation letter and you don t get a Second chance! ...
Because he say so .. he don t have to treated the people in the same equally right !

4, if you invited any personal issues of any personal reasons of your neighbors!!! Good luck with that!!!! Because he s so much power and he still can give you the Violation letter or worming leather...
He said because I am the Popely manager I can do what I wants !!!

Very very bad and terrible and awful of the property manager and the Management service of Birchwood court mineola NY 11501, Con artists. Think twice before living in a building managed by this company. There is a reason for their rating.

You can t talk to him anything up at the table because you will going to get nothing! Have to talk and do business under the table with him just like another s to get him what he wants and then he will get you what you wants... maybe....

Unfortunately Douglas Elliman was hired to manage my coop in NYC. DE has now failed to repay an inadvertent over-payment of my monthly maintenance ($10,000.00 ! ) for ten (10) weeks, since my request for refund. To this day, still not refunded.
I second William from Brooklyn, who complained about DE losing checks.
DE claimed to have sent me a check, which I never received. Weeks later I received a check which bounced, because DE had stopped payment !
I finally directed DE to return my money by wire transfer to my account, inasmuch as DE's checks mysteriously go astray but, to date, I get no response from DE.

if I could give zero stars I would. I was told my bills were being paid but they weren't - my insurance almost fully cancelled my account because bills weren't being paid. They changed my passwords without telling me - I still haven't received my spare keys from them. Just the utmost worst management I could imagine.

One star, but only for spelling their name right. Incompetent and unpleasant managers of our Manhattan coop.
DE sent me an erroneous invoice for January, 2017. I told DE that I would pay upon receiving a corrected invoice. February invoice compounded their error. DE failed to send correct invoice in spite of many requests. Same for March, April, May, June, July. Property manager was insulting instead of helpful.
With erroneous August invoice, I decided to pay correct sum due for January, in spite of DE's failure to send me a correct invoice.
Spoke to DE office about erroneous September invoice, and was told that the overcharges were due, not to DE'serrors, but to an Assessment to all tenants. Three fellow tenants confirmed that they were not charged any such assessment. I confronted DE with their misleading falsehood, and they told me that the charge will continue on my future invoices.
Avoid hiring DE like the plague.
