Housekeeping are the nicest and so accommodating. Love the free cookies from the front desk. Food at the hotel is alright. Needs more seasoning for the food.

Nice service view, and breakfast buffet. Don't know about the rooms- I visited some friends for breakfast.

Most comfy beds, but no complimentary breakfast in lil brown paper bags for their customers that are checking out.....I was bummed.

Hotel with a very good appearance, but does not take care of the details to be outstanding or outstanding. More professionalism and attention at the reception would be enough.

Good view, facility is on desperate need of update.

NO INTERNET! And I get this bullshit explanation again about why. I paid $237 last night to stay here.
And I'm paying $167 tonight thru Friday. I'm going to leave.
They advertised they had internet, they don't.
I feel lied to!!!!

We had lunch at the restaurant
It was a carbonara, but it is foreign to Chot Japan ... not bad but not delicious

The hotel is "Just ok".. The restaurant was "just ok" but.......

The service is A1. The servers are kind. But the chubby lady at the register had an attitude. Chubby short hair blonde. Other than her it was cool....

The salmon was dry and had no seasoning on it at all. In California it's hard to find broccoli.

Be prepared to eat away from the hotel...

Great location and amazing staff. Had to run in so my little ones could use the bathroom which was so clean. :-)

This is a unique location for a DoubleTree, right next to the marina overlooking the bay. For out of towners do note it gets windy and cold in the evenings. My experience with this location is primarily with the fitness center/pool area. It's well kept fully stocked with clean towels, with a minimalist weight room, and separate cardio room. There's a sauna room, which is heated by convection air heater that gets way too intense, but it does the job. The hot tub fits about 4 people comfortably, and the pool is okay.

The service here at the hotel was good, but they never cleaned our room. The breakfast was charged at $30 a plate and was simply scrambled eggs and other usual breakfast items. The location is nice, but for the price of a room, I expected more.

Great beds and the coffee in the room was really good. Close to everything in Berkley but removed enough to feel secluded.

Rooms were nice and are apparently being upgraded soon. Great location and views, especially if you own a boat. They had a shuttle that went 3 miles of and it would pick you up as well. There's an Amtrak thats very close. They haf bikes to rent and if you signed up with the Hilton there is no charge.

Very friendly front desk. Extremely helpful in accommodating guests for specific housing needs. Comfortable beds and nice view of the bay from room. Nice walking area around hotel.

Hotel is great. But they charged you for parking even you stays at the hotel which is radicious.

It was a great event! Hotel looks nice, there were a lot of amenities, is right by the water... There is a lot to like about this place. We were at a conference that ended with a happy hour at their restaurant, so I didn't get to see the rooms or the other levels, but their conferences rooms and particularly the restaurant was very nice.

The rooms smelled either of houseworker perfume or stale, alcohol infused cigarette smoke. The bathroom didn't have any ventilation.
