Vry pleasant country house hotel..with attractive gardens and well appointed cotswold stone buildings..nice brasserie style restaurant called the potting shed with an attractive formal garden view restaurant for evening dining. Lots of nook and cranny lounge and seating areas makes for a pleasant experience stay.
Not cheap but good value for money in a nice countryside setting.on the downside the evening dinner menu is a little limited although well cooked.but the menu prices do detract from the overall value for money

Never have I been to a better hotel/Spa in this country, the staff were attentive, and could not do enough to help, the spa was good but was a little small, but thus did not effect us in any way, but I would recommend getting to the spa early as you might not be able to get a bed. The food was exquisite and they had a very good whisky selection, will definitely be going again. Please remember to save as it is not the cheapest but is definitely worth the price.

This place is out of this world. Had a one night mini-moon here and the staff are above and beyond the best service staff I've ever encountered. Our meals were sublime, we had a 'top notch room' which was huge and had the comfiest beds we've been in. The spa was fantastic and includes several heat therapies. Can't wait to come back.

Lovely countryside hotel - excellent restaurants (Potting Shed and Garden Room - great breakfast though slow service), nice lounge areas with open fires for relaxing and cocktails, and spa (pools and saunas etc).
We stayed in a suite - simply decorated with separate seating area and large bathroom (dual shower).
Great staff too

It was an absolute pleasure to dine at the Potting Shed of the Dormy House in the Cotswolds countryside. Arranging to suit our needs Alexcia provided a quality of service second to non, despite the party of fussy customers who were also delighted by the food.
Highly recommended!

Amazing. Beautiful food in a beautiful location. The staff are absolutely wonderful - like nothing I've experienced before - warm, knowledgeable, welcoming and hugely hospitable. They clearly care about what they do and genuinely treat you like family. I would highly recommend Dormy House whether it's for a drink, or for the 7 course splendour that we went for in their Garden Room. Magnificent.

Delicious hearty food in an exquisite Cotswolds setting.

The food, attentive, charming waiting staff and the sheer beauty of the location, made the 50 minute journey through winding wintery country roads more than worthwhile.

A must-visit, I look forward to returning and staying at the hotel.

A cotswolds hidden gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Broadway. First class service / attention to detail.
Staff were very helpful, and food in the Potting Shed (evening) was excellent. Highly recommended.

Dormy House is a relaxed, stylish hotel in the Cotswolds. Great restaurants and spa. Also has a proper bar so you can eat and drink in a bar without leaving the hotel. Service was excellent

Ridiculously good hotel. Very pricey but you never feel nickle and dimed. Great staff and management. Fabulous restaurant (best beef wellington ever). So good I was able to mostly ignore the Ferrari/Range Rover owning clientele talking about getting their summer legs into shape. I guess at this price range, in the Cotswolds, it's inescapable.

We stayed at the Dormy House hotel for Christmas what a find ... excellent service food and accommodation. The spa is a wonderful relaxing location to spend an hour exercising or just enjoying the saunas, steam room or bubbles of the outside hot tub

We had the perfect weekend getaway at Dormy House. The hotel was so accommodating to our dietary needs and was so helpful throughout our stay. The main hotel, along with our suite, was beautiful and of immaculate standard, as well as keeping to the highest cleanliness levels during Covid-19. Thank you for our stay, I'm sure we will be back again soon!

The hotel is beautiful, the service is actually quite subpar. The concierge seems annoyed by the questions, the breakfast staff are quite rude, the laundry is absolute clothing murder and the food in general is unremarkable. Still I hear is one of the best options in the Cotswolds

As a member of 4 years standing, I find it astonishing that with a couple of weeks notice that my current contract is to be cancelled and a new one instated that ultimately costs more than double for overall less benefits.
No communication from the management except for a glossy brochure saying what an opportunity this is! For them maybe but not members!
I am left incredulous that a place that used to be so well run has descended so quickly into crass ineptitude. Despite this most of the client facing staff have kept stiff upper lips and brave faces throughout.
I can't honestly recommend the Dormy to anyone while the incumbent management are in post.

Favorite place in Cotswold. Although should be 5 stars- 1 star taken away as last time when we stayed there and had place booked for spa break- there were no spa treatments paces left at all. Luckily I haven't written my review then- as they did ruin my stay tbh. Otherwise the restaurants and bar, service and ambience is 5 star

We booked a table last minute at The Potting Shed restaurant, they only had one table at 6pm but had to be finished by 8pm.
When we arrived the restaurant was very quiet and we were a little early so we decided to have a drink at the bar. The service from the young man behind the bar was very nice, I explained the type of red wine I was looking for and he found one that matched all my needs. We were pleased we came now, sat at the bar relaxing with a glass of wine, partner with a pint, after a very long week.

We had ordered our food at the bar and were seated in a very nice area by the fire. The whole place was well decorated and welcoming, dog friendly as well. This is when the service started to sleep. The young lady that brought our food over just stood over us holding the plates not saying a word, I moved my side dish to allow room and she just plonked them down on the table. She then rushed off. We were given each other s meals so we did a quick swap. We ordered two steaks which were well cooked (medium rare/rare), mushrooms, tomatoes and chips with sauces. The mushrooms were coated in some type of olive tapenade with garlic granules, absolutely divine. My peppercorn sauce tasted and had the same texture as a jus than peppercorn sauce. The steak was not as flavoursome as one would expect in this type of restaurant and cut of beef (rib-eye).

We had dessert, the special chocolate fondant (well done, no melting middle) with pistachio ice cream and caramel panna cotta with pear sorbet and filo. The pear sorbet was delicious. At this point we realised how busy the place was and after our dessert plates had been taken, we had to sit for another 20-30mins for the bill to be collected. In the end we gave the bill & payment to one of the staff.

Lovely spa and super friendly staff, the location is excellent and the facilities are very smart and well maintained. If you are in the area, or staying nearby it is a very enjoyable spa (though I didnt test the food or stay at the hotel)

The most beautiful and impressive hotel I have ever had the pleasure in staying at. The service is perfect, staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic experience. My partner and I stayed in 'The Loft' suite and it was AMAZING! We were also able to take advantage of the Spa facilities which are fantastic with a range of treatment rooms. We had a personal treatment and the girls did a wonderful job making us feel very relaxed. Unfortunately both restaurants were fully booked when we stayed which we were sad about but we did book last minute, would have loved to of dined here. Breakfast was also to die for. If you only ever splash out once in your life to treat yourself, make sure it is here as you will not regret it.

Absolutely fantastic service, the room was huge and well furnished. The food was to die for in both restaurants and the spa treatments are the best I have ever had. I cannot fault the staff who all genuinely want your stay to be the best ever, and are all experts at what they do! If you only ever stay at one hotel - make sure it's this one!

Dropped in for a few drinks on Friday lunch time (27th July 2018). Sat outside in the pleasant warm sunshine overlooking the small car park adjacent to the hotel entrance. The road was not busy, being a minor road, so no problems with noisy traffic. The staff were very efficient and helpful. Drinks, tea coffee and a red wine, were reasonably priced. We checked on the menu for future reference and my wife asked all the awkward questions about vegetarian food. The staff were very knowledgable and helpful. It s called The Potting Shed restaurant as distinct from the hotel main restaurant. Recommended to book at the usual busy times.

My boyfriend booked this as a surprise for my birthday in September.
Absolutely fantastic! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They had been told it was my birthday before and they upgraded us and had a cute card in the room for me.
The spa facilities were clean and they have 3 types of sauna, Shower facilities and pool; these are not big areas. But due to off peak and during the week there was plenty of space on the loungers. But I imagine it can get quite crowded when busy.

Food was 5* as well. Great choice and tasted fantastic.
We ended up drinking late and playing board games, no one tried to hurry us out the bar and they said we could have stayed all night! It has a warm, homey country feel to the bars.
Overall, the experience was perfect. Would recommend for a treat for the other half, girl weekend or to take the mum as a treat.

The location in Broadway is wonderful, the staff are very attentive, and the food is out of this world. Has two dining options formal or informal - formal option looks out on a beautiful green space. Did not try the pool or SPA but looked immaculate. Our room was large, and the turn down service was lovely. Highly recommend if you want to treat yourself to something special.

I have been meaning to attend the Spa at Dormy house on my next visit to the Cotswolds and it didn't disappoint. I practically had the place to myself which was very refreshing. The staff were very patient and accommodating, including the lovely lady attending the spa area - I literally didn't have to lift a finger! The poolside beds are so comfortable a snooze was inevitable; Seriously, if you need to escape the rat race then this place is perfect. I enjoyed my light lunch and champagne by the fire and the outdoor Jacuzzi was a delight in the cold weather. The attention to detail was a welcome treat and the staff members made me feel very welcome and relaxed. Just the ticket. Thank you
