Doornroosje Review

Beautiful pop venue, if you put the nostalgic feelings aside for a moment, it is progress compared to the old Sleeping Beauty.
The hall makes a pleasant impression. Not those gruff-looking men with a V 'on their chest when they arrive, but enthusiastic volunteers who are happy that you are there.
The acoustics are good. The layout of the hall ensures that you have a good view of d stage from all positions. It's also nice that there are taps around the entire hall.

I love this place. Good sound. Good beer. No bullsh* with coins, just pay with plastic.
And it's next to a train station. I could park my car in the same street. And the parking was free after... Dark. I don't remember. Anyway. Love that place.

Great place with awesome line-up :) Artists from all over the world, great music, one of a kind atmosphere. Cozy place where you can feel that concert is being performed specially for you! Love it!

Ideal for smaller concerts Halle not paying huge so it remains more personal I can only recommend!

It's a great venue, I always get that feeling like I'm coming home when there's a party at Doornroosje but I couldn't give the 5 stars because there are no smoking areas anymore and it's wayyy to cold outside.

So wonderfully efficient and functional. Spacious, good view from balcony, no congestion, public transport and station cannot be closer. Friendly staff.

5 stars is when you don't want to leave, but I'm glad I'm on the train! and the performance was really mega fat !!

Nice place. Due to injury, standing was a problem for me. Presented in advance by email and immediately good solution as a response. Perfect service.

Doornroosje is a nice, easy accessible venue for music concerts in Nijmegen. Parking garage is close by, as is the town center if you want to grab a drink or something to eat before heading there (it s a small walk).
The area we found ourselves in was small, but there is a bar anyways.
The acoustics are good, the podium intimate .
We went and enjoyed Habitants and The Gathering and certainly had an excellent evening!

Just visited Scott Bradley's Postmodern Jukebox' concert. It was just awesome. Doornroosje seemed like the perfect accomodation for this concert.

Easy to reach pop stage. Is right next to the station and near a large parking garage where you can park cheaply. Not too big room but cozy with good sound.

Super fun and all, too bad if you forget earplugs, you are nowhere to pin for cash to get good earplugs from the machine. Only bad foam earplugs available. No one is allowed to pin or go outside to pin. Too bad for health

Perfect concert location. Divided into a small and a large hall, you can experience concerts of all genres here. Sound and lighting system are permanently installed and obviously measured on the rooms. The sound was close to perfect, the light moods imaginative and adapted to the atmosphere of the event.

The Gastro offer was extremely good (15 Fladchenbiere!) Here the prices are quite steep, but since you can adjust to it.

Nice concert hall in Nijmegen. Been here a couple of times, and always had a good time. Place is a bit small, but that also has it's charms. Located very close to the central station.

One tip, when the concert is over, don't use the exit in the rear of the hall. All the people from the balconies and the main hall try to use this, and it exits right in front of the wardrobe, so it is totally blocked for a long time. Use the one at the side of the hall instead.

One of the epic music halls in the Netherlands, where you can hear bands from the past and the present that you otherwise have to visit at festivals. For example Body Count with IceT. A beautiful room with many cozy places around it. Good staff at the bar who know how to keep a cool head although it is packed and there are 100 people in front of the bar. Nice beer, Jupiler, standard on tap. Belongs in the list of Effenaar, Paard, Vredenburg, Melkweg, Paradiso and I might forget a few now. Super easy to reach. Roosje is located right next to the Station. Would have been completely chill if you could have walked out of the train into the hall. Roosje is housed in a student building of SSHN.

Good vibe. Nice room and fantastic sound. We have been there when Postmodern Jukebox played and that is perfect to act in such a room.

I played here and the venue and crew are incredible!

Nice free wardrobe and just pins at the bar, so no hassle with coins.
