This place is garbage. The staff is super slow and I'm pretty sure the manager Jeff could really care less from what I've seen. I ordered a Doogan's burger and it was cold. Honestly not sure how the service is so slow here when they aren't even busy.
Sad to see how this once awesome place is now a crap hole all due to management change. I Would never recommend this dump.
My coworkers and I frequented this place quite a bit at lunch. We've been passing it up for a while after we noticed that the new staff is significantly slower. I thought I'd give it another try for dinner last week. The waiter took 15 minutes to get my group our first beers that were ordered. He got some of them wrong and missed a few of them. When we put in our dinner order he came back to our table over half an hour later and said they "lost the orders" and we'd have to put in the order again. There were only a few people at the bar and three or four tables filled in the whole place. They had quite a few people working that night and at least two cooks in the kitchen. The bartender and waiter clearly didn't know what they were doing or didn't care. When our food finally came out, some of my friends finished eating their meals before I got my wings an HOUR after the initial food order was placed. We were all stunned at how poor the service was. It will be a while before I give it another chance. I gave it two stars because the food was decent.
I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with homemade potato chips. The chips were alright, but the pulled pork was pretty gross. It was very large (which is fine) but they put it in one of those baskets that you'd get chicken fingers in lined with paper. The wetness of the sandwich dissolved the paper and the pulled pork had mushy paper all over it, and it was touching the bottom of the basket which grossed me out because I feel like those aren't washed as well as a dish. My girlfriend's chicken was undercooked. Overall the best thing was the French fries.
My family of 17 and I went into Doogan's for dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant nor the bar was busy whatsoever. Firstly, it took the waitress 50 minutes to bring our drinks to the table. Many of us did not receive the right drink order or food order. They neglected to bring some appetizers that were ordered as well. The staff was not professional when we had asked to speak with a manager. No one bothered to even get the manager to correct all of these issues. The bland-tasting food was not worth powering through the terrible service this restaurant had to offer. Overall, a very bad experience.
I went with my wife and 2 kids here the other night. The Food was delicious and our service was extremely fast. The owner of the restaurant stopped by our table and gave our children stuffed animals and spoke with us about our evening. Our server was extremely polite. The owner had said the menu was new, Well they hit a home run with their irish smokey wrap. My wife and i each had one and it was delicious. Two thumbs up !!! We'll definitely be back!
Absolutely disgusting place to eat... I would only recommend if you enjoy flies and gnats with your food.
The service quite accurately depicts the filth of the restaurant. My girlfriend and I waited over an hour for our food when we were 2 of 10 people in the restaurant. My burger was cold and I didn't even finish it.
This place is an absolute crap hole...don't waste your time or money.
Just look at the overall rating. Absolutely horrible. Got Hired and told to come in the next day to open and my trainer didn't even come in for another hour cause "she was tired". People smoke out back more than do their actual jobs. And if you like to enjoy clean food don't eat there. Needless to say I quit my second day because there were no mangers and the owner hired people but never made sure they were properly trained.
My hubby and I stop here often, and rarely have a bad meal. The service has always been prompt and friendly also. I love their special grilled chicken sandwich, and hubby likes the huge fish fry and the roast beef dip. Their ribs are great too. Once in a while I you can tell the fries were not just made, but usually they are, and then they are amazing. Pizza is top notch too. Can't beat the prices either, for value. I think some people are just nasty, and give out bad reviews to be mean.
Terrific place for Family and Friends. I had the Shamrock sandwich and it was great. My wife had the Clover club and loved it as well. WE will definitely be making this a regular place for us and the kids!!! Extremely friendly staff!
I have happily visited this restaurant for numerous years. However, over the course of the past year the food quality has sunk to a new low. With pricing climbing, the quality of products used to prepare meals has not improved.
Also, the decor of the restaurant has seen better days. The can lights filled with numerous styles of light bulbs constantly flicker throughout the dining experience. There are multiple rips in the seat covers of the booths and the overall atmosphere is very drab.
