DKJA was one of the best schools I could have gone to. I graduated 3 years ago and was so ready for college and life in general. I always look forward to coming home and seeing all of the teachers and administrators. They are all so kind and caring and really want the students to succeed.

Horrible school, the entire hierarchy is incompetent . My child is excelling at his new school, undeniable improvement in his overall demeanor and academic performance. The teachers at Donna Klein Jewish Academy were unwilling to support my child in any way, and the administration is worse! If your looking for a Jewish day school, DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO Donna Klein Jewish Academy!

Since we have been at DKJA, my grandchild has had the most positive experiences. She has loved her teachers every year and has always loved getting up early and coming to school. The nurturing environment and challenging curriculum has not only engaged her and her friends, but she has learned to be a kind and concerned citizen of the world. The Jewish values are consistently taught across the curriculum and the relationships she has made with her teachers and friends are authentic and will see her through life s travails. Thank you Donna Klein!

In this day and age, when kids are overstressed, overstimulated, and are lacking the fun and freedom we had in our childhood, comes a school that allows kids to be themselves and flourish. I had my doubts, having grown up in a Jewish private school in Miami. I felt like my academic education couldve been much more superior than what it was. We toured all the best, top schools in the South Florida area. We wanted the best of the best for our most precious daughters. We saw schools that immerse the kids in coding and robotics and Mandarin. Schools with 3D printers galore (not that Donna Klein doesn't have some or all of these). We saw it all. Then we walked into Donna Klein and my heart told me this is the place. Boy was I right. My girls have never been happier. They are in an environment that is filled with love and understanding and nurture and freedom of expression. My girls have recess and free play daily, no homework to take up useless hours and hours of after school time, and they learn, a lot, but many times it's through play. The school wants us to have time for family dinners and sports and family reading, not slaving away pulling our hair out doing our own kids homeworks and projects. Work is done in school in order to have a well balanced lifestyle after school hours. School lunches offer many healthy options and my girls get to choose between PE or dance or tennis which they love. Overall, the school has provided a well-rounded, safe, loving, and yes, academic atmosphere for my daughters and for my family as a whole. It was easy for them because they are one big family themselves. Come to Donna Klein and feel the love as you walk through the doors. There is nothing more you can possibly ask for from a school. This is the place you want your kids to spend their days, guaranteed!

I feel very sad reading some reviews about Donna Klein academy!
Yes, the school needs some changes, but so do other schools in Boca Raton!
Yes, the school needs to hear the students not just the teachers as we are the once that make the school grow and exist!
Overall the school is very safe which is very important in this days!
Most of the teachers are qualified and do their best to help. We can t judge the school based on one or two bad teachers.
The office administrators are very nice! The principal very loving , the head of the school absolutely caring!
As I said there are issues that needs to be addressed, but shouldn t we help as parents?!
Don t we want for our children to learn about their heritage, the Hebrew language, our children will lose that if we don t stay within community!
All the best to all!

As a student at Donna Klein Jewish Academy, I agree with the bad reviews, I hate this school, and I can't wait to switch next year. My teachers are mean, even when I ask for help they yell at me. My mom has been to the office for help, and they tell her to find another school. I feel like I'm in a military school, and I might just never come back after spring break. I would rather be home-schooled then humiliated by my teachers for one more day. Don't believe the hype, this school is terrible! They are not preparing me for College, they just yell at kids for no reason. WORST SCHOOL!!!

Donna Klein Jewish Academy provides a growing and welcoming community unlike any other. The kids experience excellent dual academics as well as social skills, kindness an philanthropy. The teachers and administration are immensely supportive as they guide the students towards their larger goals with an extraordinary focus on their individual learning needs and well being. Everybody genuinely cares about the kids and their families. We recently saw DKJA's greatness in its ability to transfer quickly and smoothly the weekly curriculum to virtual learning, thereby provide a familiar and safe routine online. We are grateful to be part of such a special community!

MANY unhappy parents, withdrawing their children from a once superior private Jewish school. My children hated Donna Klein so much they would come home crying after school. Tormented by their teachers, feeling inadequate, WITH AN UN-SUPPORTIVE administration, we gave up.The problem stems from a systematic infection of bad policy, initiated by a new head of school, lower school principle, and director of student services. New student enrollment is dwindling, and current students are leaving. Its time to cure the school of this infection of bad policy makers, including unqualified teachers, and restore Donna Klein to its glory.

Having been at DKJA for 27 years ,

I have worn many hats. My hat as a grandparent gives me the greatest
pride seeing the amazing young man my grandson, now a graduating senior from the Claire and Emanual G.
Rosenblatt High School at DKJA has become. This is in no small part due to the amazing education he has received as a lifer at our home away from home.
Academically, spiritually, socially, the school has given him every opportunity to thrive!

Amazing school and community!!!

Amazing school and community!!!
When I moved to Florida a few years ago from the northeast I wanted the best school for my children, and I have been so fortunate to have found the DKJA school. My children love the school, the teachers are incredible. I strongly recommend DKJA for other families who want the best education for their children and who want a friendly community that is welcoming to all.

Didn't like the place. At all. Went there for 12 years and just kept getting worse. The high-school is almost non existent. I have many bad memories there and as a student I can confidently say some of my worst years were spent there.

My experience of having my elementary-age kids at DKJA goes above and beyond my expectations. Teachers are caring and conscientious, and they are keeping track of my kids' progress and well-being in a way that wouldn't happen in a bigger school, whether public or private. The school serves a pretty diverse community and I like that. I think academics and arts are particularly strong here. But most of all, it's just a really happy and positive place to come to school every day. Our kids love it and we're so glad we choose it.

We have two kids at DKJA and feel so blessed that our kids are able to go to this amazing school. Not only are they getting a stellar education from teachers who know each and every child but they come to school every morning feeling like they are coming to their second home. The staff and faculty have this amazing ability to make the school feel like family and for that I am beyond thankful!

Since moving to south Florida nearly two years ago, we continue to be increasingly impressed with DKJA. DKJA has proven its promise to appreciate each student as an individual and provide them with the tools they need to achieve success. We are beyond pleased with both the Judaic and General curriculum, and we are so happy to be part of the DKJA family.

I am very disappointed to see some of these negative reviews about Donna Klein Jewish Academy. DKJA is an amazing school. It prepares students to be humble, smart, caring individuals. We started at DKJA when my son entered Kindergarten and he is currently in 7th grade and is thriving academically and socially. My daughter is currently in the 3rd grade and couldn't be happier. The teachers and staff at DKJA are 100% qualified to teach our students. My children have learned so much from these amazing teachers. A benefit of DKJA is how in tune its administration is to the needs of each and every student. They take the time to work with each family to make it the curriculum right for their child. We have been so impressed and happy with DKJA and we plan on sending our children to DKJA through high school.

Worst ! Terrible! Horrible! TEACHERS ARE UNQUALIFIED, they lack the skills to properly educate the children! The ADMINISTRATION, run the school with military like tactics. The children are mistreated by the teachers. Most parents remove their children after the first year. Do not waste your time with Donna Klein Jewish Academy!

My family has been a part of the Donna Klein community for 10 years and I can honestly say there is no place like it. It is the warmest and most welcoming place, also known as our second home. My kids are so happy here in both lower and middle school. They are challenged and thriving while practicing kindness and strong values on a daily basis. We love DKJA!!!

I just saw a bad review about DKJA and I can't understand it for the life of me. I feel badly that they had a bad experience, but as someone who is at the school literally every day Monday-Friday, that is a very untrue review. I feel the need to explain how I mean.

We moved from NJ to SoFlo and chose Donna Klein before we even chose our home. Our first impression was incredible. We were greeted warmly by teachers and smiling children who came up to us, shook our hands, and explained what they were doing in class. You see, DKJA is a Lighthouse official "Leader in Me" school.

Our children transitioned beautifully, and I noticed brilliant changes in them. They were becoming more confident, learning how to speak to individuals, (which is so important in this day and age) learning in ways where they weren't just sitting at a desk, and becoming involved within our community.

It is now 5 years later, and our children are active members in and out of our community. They are bright. They are kind. They are growing into the people that our world needs. I have become such an advocate for Donna Klein Jewish Academy. I am currently Co-President of the DKJA PTO. I can not encourage you more to look into this school. Walk our halls. You will not see bored unhappy children. You will see children embracing cutting edge learning. You'll see them creating videos. You'll see flexible seating in the classrooms. You'll see amazing teachers who care about their students. You'll see an amazing orchestra program, and an even better Drama department! (They put on incredible shows) You'll see dedicated sports coaches... You'll see a SECURE CAMPUS which gives us a sense of ease every time we drop our children off at school.

Next year we will become DKJA High School parents. We can not wait to see what our children's future holds. We hear amazing things about The Claire and Emanuel G Rosenblatt high school at Donna Klein. We have many friends who's children have graduated and they all rave about how prepared their children are for college. Our time at Donna Klein is and will continue to be an amazing journey... one that we encourage those of you looking to take a look at!

Living in uncertain times with young children in difficult, but DKJA has given my child something consistent during this Covid period. While public schools were scrambling, DKJA had a full regimented schedule of class from 8:30-2:30 (with breaks of course) for my daughter in kindergarten. Teachers and staff were warm, helpful and had an ear for what they could do better. DKJA was quick, efficient and handled this situation with what it looks like, ease. Myself, and many other parents feel so lucky to be part of this incredible community. Thank you DKJA! I would give them 10 stars if I could

This is my family's 7th year at Donna Klein Jewish Academy and we have had the most unbelievable experience thus far. As you walk through the hallways and the campus as a whole, you can see and feel the happiness and life these kids are experiencing. The warmth of the teachers, staff, administration and other families at the school have made my family feel like we are a part of a super special community. The sense of pride I feel when I go to a school function and see firsthand the wonderful leaders that have been created at Donna Klein Jewish Academy. Don't just take my word for it, come see for yourself what an incredible gift you can give your child by enrolling at Donna Klein Jewish Academy and cultivating the next generation of amazing Jewish leaders.
